good but costly. We use it a ot but the filters cost a chunk to replace.

This looks beautiful in the room but the function is not there !! It’s not the best at cleaning the air , the fan function even at speed 10 is very very weak . I got it to clear out cooking odors and it did tell me the steak that was cooking was causing very bad air from the smoke but it didn’t do much to clean the air of the scent . i don’t feel this item should cost around 400 dollars for a poor fan function and poor air purifier . It’s easy to use and set up and super light weight but those are the main pros and biggest con is that it doesn’t really work as fan unless you sitting right by it . The fan is very weak .

If you're look at this as a fan, you'll find it extremely overpriced. If you're considering it as an air purifier and like seeing data, it's worth it. I wish I could test how effective it was, but my rooms started out on the good air quality spectrum. Assembly is pretty straightforward. You simply click the filters on and you're all set. The included remote lets you handle most of the function - setting fan speed (1-10), direction (direct from the front or a "dispersed" rear function), oscillation of varying degrees. The best part is the app. The app allows you to view the air quality in real time as well as historical data. It tracks PM2.5, PM10, VOC, NO2 as well as Temperature and Humidity. I have to admit, I'm not an air quality guru. PM2.5 are particles that are 2.5 micrometers - roughly 3% of the diameter of a human hair. PM10 are particles that are 10 micrometers. VOCs - these are most often found in paints and stains and are very common indoors. NO2 or Nitrogen Dioxide The app does a great job presenting this data in an easy to read format. Being able to look through the data to see how the air quality has changed is extremely beneficial. It would have been interesting to see how well it did in a room with poor air quality.

If there are times when you want to breathe clean air and are bored, then this Dyson is for you. Not only does it do a great job filtering the air, but it’s hoop design will let you entertain yourself for hours by tossing paper wads through it. What’s nice about this premium air cleaner is that: • It’s quiet, including a night mode that turns off all display lights • Automatic, turns on upon sensing poor air quality, and turns off when the purity hits the target you set. • Allows you to circulate air as much or little as you want, including a full 360 degrees • Easy to assemble • Gives you tons of data about your inside air: temperature, humidity, and 4 categories of pollutants. The appliance superbly does what it’s supposed to, but there’s more. Dyson has nailed the wi-fi and optional (free) app. Typically apps and wi-fi on home appliances seem like an after-thought with clunky setup, poor connectivity, and useless features. But Dyson paid as much attention to the software as they did the hardware. Set up was easy-peasy. The app not only gives you full control of the purifier, but also gives you outside air quality information based on your location. It’s an excellent machine that loses one star because of the following: • Obnoxious-sized power plug. Easily the largest plug I’ve ever seen in any home device. Everything else about the design is sleek, but this one makes you scratch your head and wonder what they were thinking. • No integration to any of the big three home platforms (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Homekit) • You need to create an account to use the optional (free) app. • Premium price, which I expect will carry over to the replacement filters as well If you’re in the market for an air purifier, wad up some paper and treat yourself by getting this one.

the good it really depends on what you’re looking for in a fan. yes, dysons tend to be expensive. but you get what you pay for in this case. - fan / air purifier - fan can blow forward for cooling, or to the rear for just filtering air. granular fan controls, from 1 to 10. 10 is quite powerful and moves a ton of air. - sensors and output display for air quality, shown in real time. - Dyson link app - for reporting and tracking of air quality - oscillation up to 350 degrees - remote control - HEPA filter - night mode - dims the display and limits the fan to quieter speeds - design - bladeless, attractive design in my opinion. - alexa integration, for voice control the bad - really none. the price might be considered a bit of a negative. overall well designed and strong performing fan / purifier. good feature set and integration into the modern smart home.

IMPRESSED BY THE HIGH PRICE POINT AND RHE DYSON NAME….. but the DYSON blow dryer gives off more air! Great for purifying. Not so great for just cooling your space down! Wish I returned it!
