Seems like a $20 filter that you pay a Dyson tax for. When I cleaned out the old filter I realized that I probably could have put it back in and just reset the fan and everything would have been fine. Quality is fine but this much for a fan filter? No thanks

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HEPA & Carbon replacement filters for our purifiers are not washable, nor reusable. They trap up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. The filters have 4382 hours of life; if you run your machine 24 hours a day, a filter will last approximately 6 months.
