I have a 650 sq ft apartment. I love how fast it heats up the room where I put it on. I usually have it in the living room and I put the settings to swing and a timer of 3 hrs. It not only heats up the living room but reaches to the dining and kitchen as well. The cooling works just as good as the air-conditioning. Only better, because this product is really quiet.

Dyson HP01 Heater and Fan

I use it to warm the living room without having to turn on the heat for the whole house. It seems to provide the warmth needed. I especially like the remote control which allows for speed and heat control separately as well as direction.

Also noticed that when we run it our allergies weren't as active - no sneezing!!

Good air purifier

The magnetic remote is a plus! The noise is quite reasonable. The product is much expensive than any other product of the same type. I bought this in summer and it says hot+cold options but it feels like it cannot make the air any cooler.

With regard to keeping your room cool in warmer months, our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

This is my second purchase of this item (this one is a gift), my first purchase was in September. I purchase this mainly for the idea of having an air purifier in my enclosed WFH space + a heater. It triples as a fan, but I could honestly take that feature or leave it. It’s not meant to be used as one might use a solo fan or an AC on a hot summer day—it just circulates air. The heater is amazing. I have a relatively small space that tends to feel however outdoors feels and this heater warms my space adequately and quickly. I live in the north east and the heat this device has produced has more than sufficed in the few mid 30s evenings we’ve had so far. The heat feature never creates a burning smell or causes the device itself to get too hot to the touch. I can’t speak to the air purifier because I don’t have any measurements to take readings. I didn’t give this 5 stars because of the inability to control this device with WiFi and the lack of air measurements. I understand this is a base model, but it’s a really expensive base model and those features would have been amazing at this price.

Fantastic purifier

It’s quiet, cools and heats…and it cleans the air beautifully. I love this machine. Great value for the price. If ou can spend the extra money, I believe it’s worth it to have the extra WiFi addition with the home monitoring on it the the upgraded model offers. If that doesn’t interest you, this is perfect.
