I purchased this heater/fan less than a year ago and it works as described. The product (like all Dyson products) is expensive but I enjoy the design, how quiet it is, and how well it heats up the room it is in. THE PROBLEM is that I would have NOT purchased this heater/fan had I known the filter change warning on the display will only go away if you purchase a certified Dyson replacement filter. One replacement Dyson filter for this model is $70. You can purchase a TWO PACK of filters for less than $32 from competitor on Amazon that are effectively the SAME FILTER as Dyson's. The issue is that the heater/fan won't recognize the 3rd party filters even though they fit and work just like a Dyson filter. So, for a single filter, Dyson decided to charge MORE THAN 4 TIMES THE PRICE of a competitor's filter hoping that the ugly error message on the display will force customers to purchase their expensive filter instead of saving a significant amount of money by buying a competitor's filter that works. This is PURE GREED on the part of DYSON. In addition, BestBuy does NOT have these Dyson replacement filters in stock, nor does it appear as if they will carry them in the future. Dyson.com also, does NOT have the filters in stock. Are they discontinuing their replacement filter for this model less than a year after I purchased it?... It looks like I am stuck with a $500 heater/fan with an unappealing error message. If the error message from 3rd party filters and/or paying 4 times the price for replacement filters that you cannot find doesn't bug you, then this is an expensive but good product. I will NOT be purchasing Dyson products in the future as long as built-in obsolescence and non-competitive pricing for replacement parts for such expensive products are part of their business practices.

Easy to set up. Extremely convenient to have everything available to me on the app: air quality (inside and outdoors), temperature, what level of particulates are floating around, humidity. The heater works about as well as any good space heater will, but to have it all in one and adjustable from anywhere is extremely convenient. Cannot turn on or adjust heat from your phone, you MUST use the remote to turn it on and i believe it shuts off after 9 hours. These are for safety reasons which i respect, though it is inconvenient.

Great air purifier, heater and fan! I have had this Dyson for 1.5 years now and it’s been great. I use it for cleaner air in my home, as a fan during warmer days and as a space heater during the colder months. Couldn’t be happier.

Excellent fan for sleeping and a bonus when it’s cold I have a heater that woks excellent! As it cleans the air. Love it!

Originally I purchased this Dyson product because we wanted to save money on our electricity bill during the summer months. Since bringing it home there have been several times when I remind myself on what a great buy this was. Here are my thoughts about the product: -Good- 1. My absolute favorite thing about this product is how the remote control magnetically connects to the top of the Dyson. For an individual who always seems to loose keys/controllers this is a game changer for me. Haven’t lost the controller once since purchasing. 2. Easy to transport around from room to room. It seems to be my little side kick during these hot days. I feel comforted knowing my electricity bill won’t be over $300 from running the AC all day and night. 3. While jogging on my treadmill the Dyson puts out enough air to keep me comfortable. 4. The air purifier helps air out the room after smoking as well. Allows me to kill two birds with one stone. 5. The noise level is pretty low compared to other fans as well.

I had a Dyson heater/fan from 2012. Last year it finally broke and I had to get a new one. This one purifies air and also has the heater/fan.

Can replace your fan and you’ll be so happy you did it because you get the white noise plus clean air circulating as you sleep! Right after I purchased my first Dyson purifier, I immediately went and bought another for my kiddos bedroom. After that, I started saving to buy my third- which I now have, and I am debating on buying a forth! We upgraded in home size in the interim - which is why I am considering a fourth. I have four small kids- my purifiers have been knocked over - it’s literally never affected performance. Also, we have cats and I am not joking- these prevent our allergies, or at least strongly mitigate them.

I wanted to wait awhile before foing a review to see how well this worked as a room space heater. I can say it works amazingly well. We live in a drafty apartment in the midwest so when we had the bomb cyclone before Christmas this cleaned our air and heated our living room so comfortably well. I didn’t have to adjust the fan above the 5 level. I just set the temp. I want and let it go. Amazing no indoor icicles on the window or in the “fireplace”. I never worried about over heating since it auto shuts of the heat part when temperature is reached. That said it is well worth purchase price as it does a good job purifying our air too. I’ve had less dust to deal with. I really love that it has a timer. I never have to worry about it and thats why I buy Dyson.

The style and color is very contemporary. It has an air filter, heater and cooling fan all I one unit! It is does not have blades to blow air or heat making it very safe! It has good power to blow both heat and cool air. It rotates with ease and for the most part quietly. I actual own two, the current one with the built in air filter and the other is one without the built in air filter. It’s definitely a great product, but it is more expensive than other similar units, by various other brands. But you pay for what you get! I much rather purchase one that I can rely on to warm me up when I’m cold, and to cool me down when I am hot!

I have been using our new Pure Cool and Heat Dyson air purifier for about 2 weeks now and I can confirm is easy to use, friendly to understand and as far as I can tell, it works for both purifying and heating a medium size room. I really like it and I definitely recommend it. If I were to provide some feedback to improve it I would say that it should include an “Air grading display”. Meaning it would be nice to understand the status / quality of the air at that specific moment.

I was able to get this at a fantastic sale price, and I am very pleased. It has only been in use for a couple days. It is very quiet at low-medium settings, and not at all bothersome at higher settings. It moves quite a bit of air. The remote works well and can be stored (magnetic) on the top of the device. I like that it has both narrow and wide airflow settings. The oscillation mechanism is a little louder than I expected it to be. Cooling mode is surprisingly effective.

Unlike a lot of reviews I read prior to buying this unit, there is no loud noise. Unit works well. Bought it as a heating unit for my family room which is 800+ square feet. It does warm the room and what I felt is without drying my skin too much. Agreed that fan speed could go beyond 10 so more air could flow out of it, ove satisfied. Like any other Dyson product it is a bit pricy compared to other products. I go for quality and hope this unit deliver value for a while. Bought it a month ago.

The Dyson HP01 was easy to setup. It runs quiet and is very effective on both the cooling and the heating side. The small footprint is a real plus and we love the remote control. We bought this item primarily to warm our theater space in the basement during cold snaps--which it does very well. A side benefit is the fact that it works as a great fan in other locations in our house when temperatures rise. This has enabled us to reduce dependence on AC on hot days. In fact, this is where we get the most bang for the buck. Absolutely love it.

This is amazing! Our furnace had issues and we purchased two at Best Buy. Obviously for heat and worked so well! We ordered one and picked it up and then had another delivered the next morning. Very easy to use and with the controls were able to adjust to what we needed in regards to the heat levels and also where we wanted it directed. Great Purchase and very happy with the quick service at Best Buy-it was 20 below with the windchill and the furnace was out, they helped get our order processed quickly and got the second unit delivered asap. Thank you Best Buy and Dyson!!!

Love this unit. Purifies the air and works as both a heater and a fan. It is quiet and has a remote. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Great electric space heater, air purifier and fan. It costs more than most, but it's worth it!

Best Fan purchase for 3in1 needs. I run it constantly for purification purposes. Summer leave it in cool and in the colder months use it to heat the room. Heat is great actually can heat a large area after running for about an hour. Air is moist and doesn’t dry you out. Great purchase !!! Try to catch it on Sale
