The unit is easy to set up, easy to move room to room if needed, and easy to control from my phone. At first I thought the unit readings on air quality were off as it always showed it to be good. However, lately I've had some home projects going where I have contaminated the air and the unit picked up the degrading air quality and help clear it back up quickly. Very impressive.

Very nice, pretty expensive but it was worth it. Purification and heat and is also a fan.

The air purifying and info stats are good. The heat is good, but I thought I was getting cooling too. It is just a fan, no cooling portion to it. A little disappointed in that. But, used the purifying after painting in the room, and it really did eliminate the odors quickly.

We got this fan for my son's room to add extra cooling for his computer and PS4 Pro. It has helped keep then cooler and the air cleaning is another great benefit for those devices. A funny story about the air cleaning sensor that the fan has. My son was in his room and farted, the fan automatically increased the fan speed to clean the air.

Been helpful for pet and allergy pollutants in the home.

I don’t know how I lived wIthout this in my life. I’ve been impressed with its ability to not only clean the air but pump out fresh cold purified air that smells amazing! The app is very helpful In monitoring and tracking as well as user-friendly overall excellent purchase and would love to get more for other rooms in the house.

Filter replacement cost Overview: Before receiving this Dyson hot and cool fan + HEPA filter to test, I recently purchased a AM09, a Dyson hot and cold fan without a filter. I was a bit surprised to see how much larger the HP04 is! The base is fairly thick to accommodate the filters. It’s about 10” wide, 30” tall and weighs 12 lbs. It is very easy to setup, just need to install the filter, plug into wall and you’re read to go. I like that there are no exposed heating elements for the kids to burn their hands on or moving blades. The entire fan can pivot on the base to aim higher or lower, a feature my AM09 did not have. Operation: The included remote can control everything, on/off, hot, cold, oscillate, vent out the front of the back. When you’re done with the remote, you can store it face down on the top of the fan, the magnetic catch will hold the remote securely, a nifty feature. The iOS or Android app does the same, except you can control it from anywhere. You can do things such as turning on the heat to warm up a room before you get home. The one thing the app DOES NOT allow you to do is to control the heat. If you turn on “cool” with the app and want to go back to “heat” mode, you can’t. This seems to be a safety rule (UL 1278) and not a Dyson capability issue. This fan is also Alexa enabled, with Alexa, you can turn on the fan, set device speed, ask for temperature, humidity levels and more. Again, like the remote, you can’t adjust the heating temperature or turn it from cold to hot. Performance: The Dyson heating fan operates fairly quietly, at level 10, it does make a fair amount of noise. If you’re watching TV, you’d need to bump up the volume a bit. The noise is more tolerable at level 8. As a test to see how quickly the fan can warm up a room, I ran the fan in my room (approximately 25’x16’). Starting temp was 67 degrees, by the end of 20 minutes, it was 68 degrees (outside temp 27). So depending on the size of your room, it can take some time to make a noticeable difference. There’s an automatic setting as well, set it to the desired temp and the fan will do the rest. I was able to tell my room temperature from the 1” circular LCD screen on the fan. It gives you info such as air quality, inside temp and temperature the fan is set to. The app also shows you the temperature, humidity as well as graphs on temperature history. The filter portion will come in handy this Spring during allergy season. The HEPA filter + carbon filter costs $80 to replace, annual replacement is recommended. Overall, I really like this hot cold fan. Not only is it nice to look at, but it performs well. If you can get pass the price, and the price of the filter (1 star subtracted for cost), I would definitely recommend it.

Love the fact that is 3 in 1 makes it easier to get to use one unit and not 3.

Purchased this because I was looking to purify air in the apartment in which I live. Have to say this gadget is awesome. Not only does it purify the air, put it also cools (fan) and can heat. The machine actually analyzes the air quality and you can download the results on your phone with the Dyson app. You can also use the app as the remote control and control it from wherever you are! Nothing compares!

It was a Christmas gift for my son. He said it works well - warm up the whole living room. (He lives in the western suburb of Chicago) Air quality is good, the air purifier feature is not really needed. I have one my self purchased about a year ago and have the same review. The self-assessment feature in the unit indicates air filter is still good.

Ordered one of these units and was pleased enough to order another. On unit display and app display of air quality measurements visually verify unit's performance which is reassuring. You see the air quality improving. In fact, when I noticed the air quality at one home going up and down (in the app display), I suspected a window was open and upon investigation I was right. Closed the window and watched the air quality steadily improve. That was fun! In the middle of the California air quality/fire crisis, these units have been a godsend. Particularly impressed how it performs when placed on automatic. You can see the fan speed change responding to changes in the air quality measurements. This was useful at night with no supervision. Fan noise is noticeable at high speed, but night mode reduces this substantially. The absolute bonus on this purchase was the price match. Less than a week after I purchased the second unit I saw the price had been reduced by $100. I called Best Buy and was credited $100 for each of the units. I was done within about 5 minutes of placing the call and had confirmations of the refunds in my email before the call even concluded. This is the second time I've benefited from their price guarantee. Good job, Best Buy!

This Dyson is pricey but worth it. It gives of heat during cold winter months and give cool air during summer time. While it has these two features it cleans the air in your room. The filter in the air purifier will last about a year. It gives you reading on the quality of air in your room. Its a three in on machine. Fan, heater and air purifier.

So far so good. Cheaper way to heat an area in our house that the furnace doesn't reach well. Ended up getting this model as it rotates extremely well, adjusts very smoothly, pushes lots of air and is quiet. Remote is well laid out and works well enough that we haven't tried the Dyson app yet. Bought it on sale which made it a little more palatable as it is obviously expensive.

Got it on sale. The heat works wonders. The fan is cool. Few things I wish for is to have the temperature adjusted for the cooling system. And also to be able to start heating using the app but since im from the US, a certain code is preventing me to do such. Overall, quite pricey but very happy with this product. Tis an investment for sure.

Dyson products are the best! I use this everyday. It heats my room as well as cleans the air. I can control it through my phone or with the remote control. It also helped when there was pollution in the air with the fire that was going on in California. It provides the stats of the current air quality. This was definitely worth the price.

I love this air purifier! It is quiet, works great, and looks high tech. The HP04 is a huge upgrade from the HP01 (that I bought several years ago and use in a different room). The HP04 is bigger, quieter, and it has more functionality; I especially like that I can see the air quality by type of air particle. I highly recommend this product.

First, this product isn't an A/C unit, so it will not necessarily cool your room in the way you expect it to; it's a fan. It merely circulates the air causing the room to feel slightly cooler. Nonetheless, if you have the means to splurge on a fancy fan by all means get this one; you will not regret it at all. The air purifier is great, but I wouldn't count on it to drastically reduce your allergies as it advertises. Overall, it does its job. The heat from the heater isn't as strong as my as my portable space heater (if that makes sense). Both my space heater and this Dyson get up to 99°F, however the best description I have is that the Dyson gets slightly warm and my space heater gets hot. Hopefully, that explanation makes sense... Also, the app sometimes doesn't connect to my device, though this is uncommon it is annoying when I come across this issue. Lastly, due to U.S. Federal regulations, you are not able to control the heating feature of this device via the app, only through the remote control. Hope this helps your buying decision. In general, I think this is a quality made device and would recommend it to others.

This thing is great quality. One of the best I have ever owned. I also like the app that lets me know what was going on with my air quality as I was using it. I just leave this thing running all day long to clean my air and have had zero problems with it. I also like the heat option on this for the colder months to help warm the room while cleaning the air.
