This Dyson does a really nice job of air purification. The fan and heater work well, and the app for IOS is very informative. It was easy to set it all up and connect it to Wi-Fi. It’s very quiet and I like the fact there are no fan blades for potential injury to little ones who are too curious.

The ability to heat a 600 sq ft room quickly is what made me appreciate this purchase. Originally, spending a good bit of money for a “fan” was something not in my alley. However after reading product and sales reviews, I decided to try it out. You have nothing to lose with Best Buy’s return policy and gol dang I was going to give it my best shot. I love it’s ability to heat a room quickly and quietly. The fan for cooling is also quiet though it doesn’t contain any evaporators or other a/c type of innards. It can still move the air around quickly and cool what needs to be.

This is a perfect system for both heat , cooling and purifying ait. The app and wifi link is also awesome. The only flaw in this system is the app does not allow you to control the temperature so have to resort to using the remote for that.

Overall I'm happy with having purchased this. I like the size of the unit. It's great to serve dual purposes as both a purifier and a fan. We use it both for the purifying function and in the summer it also helps to spread the cool air from the air conditioner in one room to the rest of the apartment. I love the wifi function because now with this and our wifi capable air conditioner we can control both while we're not home and get the apartment cooled down before we get back. I was hoping it would help more with the dust in our apartment as we live on a busy city street which leads to a lot of street grime/dust coming in through windows and drafts of our old building. I'm sure it has helped a bit, but it does still get dusty, maybe it's less so than it used to be, but can't quite remember since it's been almost a year since we've owned this. However, we have had an extremely noticeable improvement in air quality. It feels much easier to breathe and we no longer feel as though we are allergic to our apartment with constant sneezing fits and sinus pressure. We used to wake up completely stuffed up every single morning, it was so miserable, which is what led us to finally buying the purifier. We have not had this issue since we've had the Dyson. The data readings are helpful and interesting and it's sensitive. It immediately reacts on auto mode when I use an aerosol spray hair product on the far, opposite end of the apartment or when we're cooking. It even detects when someone in the apartment building on a different floor is burning incense, even if I can't smell it. My only real complaint is that when the oscillation is set to 350% it is guaranteed to eventually get stuck in the same position every time, with the front of the amplifier facing towards the power cord. It's been an issue from the first or second week after setting it up and we've called customer support who said they never heard of the issue, but not sure that's true. Either way, it's not something we've resolved and we'd probably have to ship it to get repaired to do so. It's annoying because when it happens, it gets stuck and stops oscillating until we notice it and we have to use the remote (not the phone app, but actual remote that comes with it) to turn the oscillation off and back on and then it gets itself unstuck again. It does mean that we can never leave it on 350% when we're not in the house or it will end up stuck in that position until we come back home. Also if you want a lot of fan power I would recommend the taller unit from the same line. For the size of this shorter unit I'm very happy with it, but the fan doesn't get to, say, box fan level of air movement. The taller purifier does have much more oomph to it (I compared them side by side in the store). I'm still happy with this one though. It does just enough with the fan for what we need. I almost forgot! This model is also very helpful to use as a space heater on the rare occasion our radiators (which we can't control ourselves) don't come on enough in the winter. It does a great job of heating the space. It easily warms up three rooms in our drafty apartment fairly quickly, enough so that we aren't freezing and can get things done without huddling under blankets on those occasions.

First off, yes it's expensive. Anything made by Dyson is, you're paying for the research and development time. This thing puts off a LOT of heat and can easily fill up a 300 sq ft room in minutes. It's cool enough for use during the summer, and the air purification system is just plain amazing. I live upstairs in an apartment with a smoker below, it eliminates everything in the room they smoke in. The automatic air quality settings are astounding. Having the ability to adjust it from wi-fi, change fan speeds (Note that you cannot have the auto on feature for heat, for obvious safety reasons) it's just a flawless package. However, if you don't need the heat settings, I would recommend going down a model and saving yourself the money. I was in the market for a purifier and a fan, but ended up getting this as it was the top model at the time.

Bought Dyson Hot/Cold for master bedroom as Christmas 2019 gift. Room doesn’t have good HVAC so gets a bit warm in summer and cool in winter. Now I keep Dyson circulating set on 70 and it warms room up just enough. Wife has allergies so fact that Dyson pulls allergens/etc out of air is huge win. I’ve cycled through the various control settings and they were easy to see and informative. I haven’t used the app yet but remote works great for how we use it. It is super quiet (at least on ‘night’ setting). I think my only minor gripe is that unit should also have controls on it so I don’t always have to hunt for the remote. Maybe the controls are there but I haven’t discovered them yet. We pretty much turned in on when got it and just let it run. Purchased from BestBuy during sale. Even at that price it was expensive.

Bought two of these for multi level home. Had an issue with one. Contacted Dyson, and they gave the option to ship it to them and they would send a new one or bring it back and exchange for new one. Exchanged for new one at the store. These things are AWESOME! Dust level is down 85% in the house. Love the heating element of these as well as the cooling and air purifier. The app is great and easy to use. I would give 5 stars if one would not have had an issue.

Been using continually for about 7 months now it is a dream. Extremely quiet and heater works great. Nice functions and easy to use. Was a little pricey but worth it in the long run.

I had a smaller Dyson fan that was a gift a few years ago. I did like the fact that it did not have blades and it would not collect dust. I originally wanted the HP02 because you could control the heat with your phone and it was cheaper. I waited for Black Friday and the HP04 was on sale cheaper than the HP02, so I decided to go with it. Still getting used to it, but I do like the fact I have one device that can do both cool air and heat while purifying the air at the same time. One device for multiple uses is not a bad thing to have and based on the fan I expect to keep this for quite some time.

This is a great purifier it really does a great job keeping the air clean. I noticed when I would open the windows before we brought this purifier it always seems to get dusty really fast so now since we started using this purifier it really keeps the room a lot cleaner also it’s nice and quiet almost forget its on and with the cool air settings I don’t have to worry about opening the windows as much as I used to because it seems to keep my room very cool.

We have two of these and they are quiet, easy to use, and do a great job heating, cooling, and purifier the air in our living space and bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Sometimes you have to shell out some dollars to get something good, and I have to say that this is a top-of-the-line system. It’s extremely quiet, it heats the room perfectly while keeping the air purified, & because of the safety features I can feel ok with my kids crawling around it as no part of the exterior ever gets too hot to touch. Honestly my wife had to strong-arm me into buying this heater because the price is high, but I’m rrtrosp I really have no regrets. If you need one and you have the means, this is definitely worth it!

Dyson is pricey, but well worth it! Small footprint and purifies air, while providing fan breeze and/or heat for home office or bedroom area, making life much easier and comfortable on these in/between days when you dont really need actual a/c or heat for the whole home. Only annoyance is app cannot choose heating option due to some weird regulation, so still has to look for that little remote control at times.

This is our first ever Dyson purifier. We love how quiet it is and notice how clean the air is now in our bedroom. I recommend placing this on a stand to maximize the air/heat distribution and filtration power. It's currently on clearance and I highly recommend having this if you live in California specially with seasonal wild fires. It's powerful enough to give you a cool breeze in the summer and warm enough in the winter. Although don't expect it to cool you in the hottest of days. You'll still need an air conditioner.

OK, this fan is a bit pricey. Filters, the fan itself--all expensive...But very worth it. I have it in a 10x10 bedroom becasue of allergies. I set it to clean up the room about an hour before I go to bed (all done from the phone app so no forgetting or having to get up). I sleep much better. No sudden allergy attacks (I have dogs and cats, both of which I am slightly allergic to). If I cook something in the kitchen (adjacent room) I can hear the fan kick on as it senses the VOC in the air. Kicks off after the room is clean. All said, its worth it.

Killer purifier and heater function is great! My wife gets chilly sometimes and works great to warm up closet or bathroom fast. The app is handy as is the air quality report. It is pretty darn quiet too. We have an older first gen tower air cool+purifier which has been working fantastic but this HP-04 has the heater function also. Gotta love Dyson products.

I didn't want to heat the entire house with my HVAC unit. This works fantastic! The app was easy to install and use. The remote is tiny and I don’t usually use it. I use the app for all controls. Monitoring and reviewing the air quality from the app is nice since the screen on the Dyson is a bit small and not readable from a distance. App also allows for timer. It’s a little bit pricey but I’m happy for it.

Okay. . . it is expensive. Is it worth it? You bet. . . every penny and more. From the remote control, the tilt mechanism, the quietness (even at high speeds), the many features -- and the cool design. I bought 2 of these (one white, one black). A great machine -- and a conversation starter. Looks like a piece of furniture! I bought it to heat a room . . . but it is also a cool fan (non pun intended). I gave it 4 stars . . . because the app did not download and connect seamlessly.
