If you need a vacuum, you would be better off buying the full Dyson cordless model. In this case it made sense. Strong suction and picks up my pug pet hair on the couch very well, but pricey.

I got so frustrated with my car vacuum that I ended up getting this, and it's been a lifesaver. It works so much better than anything that's not industrial-grade that I'd say it's worth the price. The only bad thing is that it's impossible to know how much charge you have remaining, so you should just make it a habit to put it back in its charger when you're done. Battery life is only 20-30 minutes anyway, but unless cleaning is your career or you're trying to vacuum up the floor of your house with this, it's plenty. I've literally never run out of charge while using this.

When using most of the attachments the suction is not very strong. It does work fairly well for my stairs.

It does not pick up dirt. The canister is so small, I’m constantly dumping it. This unit has to be charged often. I cannot go room to room to clean vents or baseboards without charging it. Forget putting it on the max feature. It sounds like it’s working hard, however, it doesn’t pick anything up except fluffy pet fur. I own another Dyson handheld vacuum and love it. This unit was a huge disappointment.

It was not. This was smaller, and the suction was minimal. I returned and bought the v8, which includes the handheld plus the stick vac....super happy. Powerful, and gets the job done. The battery lasts about 15 minutes, which is plenty of time for what i use it for ( the car, small tasks.
