I had high expectations for this item for the $300 price tag, but unfortunately after waiting to get my hands on this, I was terribly disappointed. I didn’t say anything and let my husband try it and he was not impressed at all either. I rarely return items because I simply am not good at it! But I couldn’t NOT return this. The suction is average at best and honestly a $35-$60 vacuum could do the job just the same if not better. I’m bummed this didn’t work out for us, but I’m so glad I returned it. I would skip in this to avoid breaking your heart like me. Lol but seriously, I’d rather buy a full size and just use the attachments for this price.

We definitely would not expect to hear feedback that the machine feels weak or flimsy. I’m happy to inform you that Dyson cord-free machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests. Terrible product.

The location of the air filter (see the lines along the purple piece) causes air to blow at the area that is being vacuumed. This means that dust gets kicked up and whatever you are trying to vacuum to blows away from you. I received this as a holiday gift and, although I realized the issue immediately by the second use, Best Buy refused to do anything to help me as it was outside of the return window. I contacted Dyson directly and they refused to return/exchange as well since I did not purchase directly through them. I'm extremely upset to have put over $300 of my wedding registry towards a defective product, and I'm more upset that neither business has any interest in helping me resolve this. This is absolutely not what I expected of Dyson's products or customer service.

Best handheld vacuum made. Period.

I keep in my car and vacuum almost everyday. I then bring inside to charge. The charge lasts a long time. I have never used the high setting. It is worth spending the extra money and getting the best out there.

Although I am having a problem with the "mini motorhead" not functioning. It rotates for around 2 seconds and shuts down and no longer rotates. Please help, I really want this to work.
