The Dyson company is known for their technology innovation and their attention to design. The Lightcycle lamp checks off both boxes with a unique, modern design and hi-tech features. The design is modern and minimalistic, resembling a construction crane or a universal bevel protractor (tool used to measure angles). It is both simple and complex, using pulleys, rollers and a swivel to make adjustments to the light’s aim. Positional adjustments are made effortlessly to get the light to aim just where you want it, although if you have the lamp against a wall, its adjustable area is reduced. This is because as you push the light inwards toward the vertical arm, the back end of the horizontal arm moves away at an equal rate. Having the lamp next to a wall will limit how far you can push the light towards the vertical arm. In most cases you will be able to position the base in such a way that it will get your light to aim just where you want it though. This is because it has a full 360 degree swivel. In fact the direction of light can be maneuvered in the following ways: 360 degrees rotation around the base; up and down (around 2 feet of vertical adjustment); and forward/backwards (over 1.5 feet of forward/backward adjustment). In all configurations, the light points downward, as it is fixed to the horizontal arm. I have my base behind my computer monitors with the light pointing towards my keyboard. The lamp has two touch sensitive points on the top of the horizontal arm that control the color (shades of white) and brightness of the light. On the belly of that same arm are more buttons that control motion detection and light cycle. I find those buttons to be a bit confusing as to which one controls what, so I mainly control the settings with the Dyson Link app on my phone. An interesting thing about this lamp is that you can configure it (through the app) to display a natural light that is similar to your exact location’s natural light. You can also enter in your age and it will change the light to optimize it specifically for you. Dyson spent years researching and developing this technology and I don’t know how much is hype and how much is science, but I can say that using their age and location synchronized settings, I find the light to be very comfortable at my workstation. The light also has a wake-up mode, sleep mode and an away mode. The away mode is interesting because it will cause the lamp to turn on and off at random intervals between 4pm and 11pm while you’re gone. I have been using this lamp for long periods of time for quite a while now and I mostly love it. I only have a couple of things that I don’t love. First, it was harder than necessary to assemble. No tools are required but getting the vertical arm to screw into the base was a bit of a chore. There is a plastic disc underneath that the vertical arm screws into and it is very shallow and hard to get a decent grip on to get it threaded. Another thing I’m not crazy about is that there is a lot of “play” in the base, which makes the vertical arm a little wobbly. This may be a way to help balance everything, but it doesn’t seem right. It’s a little thing because when you put the light into any position, it stays there, so it doesn’t affect much; it’s just a little strange to me. The last thing is that this light has a motion detector setting that will turn off the light if there is nobody in the area. It’s a good way to make sure the light isn’t being wasted, but not so good for a workstation application. If you are being somewhat still at your desk, the light will constantly turn off on you. Thankfully, you don’t have to use the motion detector if you don’t want to, and there are probably some applications where it works better. Overall I have to say that I love this lamp and it is a great addition to my workstation.

    Dyson quality desk lamp

I’m consistently impressed with the ongoing innovations in useful technology Dyson comes up with, including reimagining home appliances people use everyday. The Dyson Lightcycle task light, is no exception. The Dyson Lightcycle is a well-made, functional, desk lamp. I could totally see this task light working out well on a large office desk or drafting table, perhaps used by a designer, an engineer, or even an architect. But with that being said, the ultra-modern, almost futuristic, robotic appearance of this light may not compliment everyone’s decor, and may only look good in a particular type of room or style of furnishings. Unboxing went smoothly. The device was packaged extremely well, and it was a pretty straightforward process in putting the task light together with the handy step-by-step diagram printed on the inside lid of the box. And following the prompts in the Dyson Link App made pairing the Lightcycle to my phone via Bluetooth, simple and easy. The Dyson Link App enables you to personalize your Dyson Lightcycle according to your age (birth year), and location. You can customize various features based on your daily routine and activity. There are several pre-set modes: study, relax, boost (for automatically increased brightness of white light), wake-up, sleep, and away. The app allows you to adjust the color temperature and brightness/dimming. This can also be done manually on the Dyson Lightcycle itself via the controls by slide-touch or finger-tap. Color of the light ranges from a warm, relaxing ‘sepia’, to a cool, white light. The Dyson Lightcycle is designed to reduce eye strain by tracking daylight so as to simulate the natural, local daylight of where you live. I found this technology to be particularly interesting. Since our light needs can change as we grow older, this task light can be customized to meet those changing needs. However, taking into consideration not only Dyson’s reputation and consistent quality in the design of their innovative products, but more importantly, the cost for this particular device, although impressed with the task light’s performance, unfortunately I’m unable to recommend. The Dyson Lightcycle’s cost, coupled with what this desk lamp can do and who would benefit most from using it, just doesn’t warrant its very high price point, in my opinion. Basically, there are other lamps out there in the marketplace, as well as, brands of bulbs that can work with existing lamps, which are comparable with regards to similar features - such as pairing with your mobile device and personal customization for home or office use - available for a much lower cost which average consumers would most likely be more willing (and able) to spend.

Like my title says, I didn’t think I could be “wowed” by a light, but here we are. Yes, there are some things to think about with this Dyson offering, but there is no doubt the Lightcycle is a quality product. Set-up is easy, directions are clear. App installed. I was up and running in a few minutes. As for the light itself, it is a nice weight (around 9lbs), and has a sturdy feel. It certainly has that Dyson touch and you can immediately tell things were well thought out. For all the “tech” in the light itself, which I love, I just can not get over how well the stand/arms “move.” There is a 3-axis system where you can move the one arm up/down, the other arm in/out and the entire thing can rotate 360 degrees. It is so fluid, you can more or less do it with a finger. It is truly wild. Light controls are thoughtfully placed and work well. Beyond function, I really like the industrial look of the lamp. Simple, stated, and it would fit in many settings. Finally, it comes with a nice long (10.5 ft) cord that helps when it comes to placement. I was initially unsure where I was going to place mine. Given some of the features, I was torn between bedside or on my desk. I chose my desk. I spend forever there, working, also staring at a screen…in poor light. There is no doubt I’ve been putting undue stress and strain on my eyes. I was looking for focused, and consistent light. I got that, and more. Honestly, there are so many features and options, it is somewhat of a lot to take in. I have been messing with my lighting over the past year or two, with voice control, scheduling…etc…all in an attempt to both make it easier as well as better for me. Yes, I failed with my desk set-up. The Lightcycle fixes that. It is actually designed to replicate the natural light where you live (yes, really, actual location) as it changes during the day. They call this Daylight Tracking. The idea is that being in light that changes color temperature and brightness alongside a typical daylight cycle is a healthier choice. That seems to make sense to me, and I like the idea, given how much I am indoors. There is also another mode that will simply adjust the light to match the light that is currently around you. Both modes work quite well, and while I prefer a warmer setting most of the time, I am going to stick with Daylight Tracking for a while. If these are not for you, you still maintain total control over all settings. You can control most of the main operations of the light on the light itself, but the app offers even more control. You can set favorite lighting modes as well as select from quite a few presets. Some are task orientated, like Study, Precision, Relax…etc… while some are more focused around on/off specifics. There is a wake-up mode that gradually brightens. A sleep mode which defaults to warmer and softer settings. An away mode where the light will turn on and off at random intervals if you are out of town. Further, there are a couple of other nice features that I think are useful. There are motion sensors that, when turned on, allow the light to turn off when no one is near, saving energy. You can also enter your age so the light will consider your needs and adjust the Study and Relax presets automatically. Finally, there is a USB-C charger in the base. A nice little touch. Obviously, this light is a commitment. Dyson does offer a five-year warranty, which is great, but they state the light will maintain its quality for 60 years. Yes, 60 years. There is an advanced cooling system that is supposed to control heat, making this possible. Obviously, you must take this one on faith, and, well, who knows, but Dyson has built a nice reputation on quality and good design. Given that reputation, and my time spent with this light, I really like this Lightcycle. I think the only thing missing I would have liked to see is perhaps some voice control (Google/Amazon/Apple). Maybe, down the road? I had my doubts going in, but the fluid motion, build, style, and most importantly, the light itself, with its features, combination of autonomy and control and overall quality won me over.

    A Marvel of Design

The Dyson LightCycle Desk is truly a marvel of design. The name isn’t quite what is seems, though. When I received the unit to test, and opened the box, I thought maybe it was a LIGHTED DESK. No, it’s a desk light. Maybe that’s the next idea. :) I wasn’t sure what to expect at first. It’s an unusual design. It comes disassembled; the instructions are printed on the lid of the box. As with previous Dyson products that I’ve tried, the items are meticulously packaged. The manual is wrapped in wax paper, there are multiple pieces of plastic-cling to peel off as you assemble. The only issue I had with assembly is that I found it difficult to snap the upper arm into place. The photo could have been a bit clearer on how to snap in into place where the wheels were in the correct place. It took me a few tries before I got it right. The base does take up a lot of real estate. I have a small desk, so I put the light on a nearby file. With the long arm, it still displayed light across the desk. It is motion activated (if you activate that feature), which is nice for my office; the overhead switch is in an awkward place. I walk in, not even close to the light, and it senses movement. The bulb housing itself is small, but it puts out a lot of light considering the size. You can move the light up or down, controlling the concentration. You can also sync the light with the Dyson app. I had some issues with the light fully syncing with my Samsung phone. It would get about half way and get an error. I had to wait until the next day before it would complete the process. The app is fun to play with. You can put in your location so that the light automatically changes to match your local area. There are also presets, such as Relax mode, which is a warmer hue for winding down. I used the Custom Settings to get the tone just right for the way I work. I’m not a huge fan of artificial light, so having the control over the type of light it puts out was a nice feature. The LightCycle Desk is another fabulous design by Dyson. It will certainly be a conversation piece in your home.

If you're looking for a lamp for your living room, this probably isn't it. The design looks like a tower crane you see on the city skyline. However, as a desk lamp for the office, it's very cool. Typical of any Dyson product, the product comes well packaged and is easy to assemble. You'll need to download the Dyson Link app to get the full functionality out of the lamp. If you already have a Dyson account, it's easy to log in, pair the lamp and run a quick update. If you don't have a Dyson account, it'll take you a few moments to set one up before you can get going. The light itself goes from pure white to very soft white. You have the ability to adjust it to any color temperature in between and also the ability to adjust the brightness. You can set it for Auto, which detects the light in the room and adjusts accordingly. There is also a motion setting to detect movement so the light will automatically go off when no one is around. You can set it to sync up with your location so that the lamp mimics the natural daylight for your location at that time of day. Through the app, you can set "Scenes". This is where you can set up presets for the lamp. It comes with a few ready to go, such as Relax (low, soft light) and Precision (Extremely bright, pure white light). You can set up your own based on your preferences or just use the ones they give you. Of course there's always manual control where you can just use the controls on top of the lamp or on the app to manually adjust everything. Overall, the design is cool and I can definitely appreciate the engineering that went in to this thing. However, it is a very odd looking lamp and it's use is really limited to an office. I hope that Dyson is able to take what they've learned with this lamp and translate it into something for the home, such as a floor lamp. Also, the price is quite high for a desk lamp. That being said, for the amount of flexibility in lighting that this lamp provides, along with the build quality and the estimate or 60 yrs of life, it could be worth it for the right person.

First of let me say I was impressed with engineering, just how the light itself work by just putting two stick together very impressed, the design is simple with a modern touch. The installation process was painless, Screw the vertical pole to the base, and then attach the light stick to where the bearings are, and done. You do not see any wires except the one that has to be connected to the wall. Adjusting the lamp to different positions took very minimal effort, it can also be spin around. By adjusting the height of the lamp upward the light beam spread wider illuminating more area on the desk, adjusting it downward you can illuminate a specific spot. The brightness and light temperature color can be adjusted with the touch sensitive buttons on top of the light. This lamp also has a motion sensor which react when your close by, and turn itself on, acting more like a path light. This lamp is also equipped with auto feature that will adjust the light brightness and temperature color, according to your light environment. This is not a regular lamp it also works with an app, link it to the Dyson Link app and you can control it from there, actually adjusting the light temperature and color felt bit more accurate than using the buttons. The light itself is very bright and does not heat up. Close to the base it has a USB plug perfect for phone charging. Overall lamp works as intended and is beyond any regular lamp out there, but it may not be affordable to most.

This light was a breeze to set up and I will be honest I did not know what to expect from Dyson. The setup was a breeze. It wasn't difficult at all and only took 2 steps, screw in the base/attach the arm. The movement of the lighting arm was extremely smooth, the turning base just glided when touched. The amount of control you have is amazing via the app and on lamp controls. The lamp has controls that allow for complete lighting control; brightness/warmth, motion sensor, auto lighting that adjust to the room darkness and synced lighting to the sunrise and sunset based on geographical location. You can preset your own setting for a specific desired lighting for each individual that uses the lamp. The lamp also has a usb-c near the base of the lamp which is great for my cell phone. The ability to shift from diffused lighting (by having the lamp at it's max height) to focused lighting (by lowering the arm) is a huge convenience. I set it up in the reading area and it genuinely makes sitting in that area and reading much more enjoyable. The lamp design is also a major hit with guests, it is a great conversation piece as it adds a contemporary flare to any area. The first question is, how does it work followed by praise for the flexibility of the design. I definitely recommend this smart lamp to light up any area and inspire tech envy but all kidding aside it is a very nice lamp and you will soon forget about the price tag when you see it in action.

Cutting Edge Tech and Performance for a Price

This latest Desk Light offering by Dyson Technologies offers a solid build, impressive features and a great design for smooth, effortless repositioning. It even includes a USB-C plug for charging your devices. The light settings are versatile and offer separate control of brightness and color temperature, both on the lamp and via the Dyson Link app. The app gives full control and the ability to sync the light adjustments for the time of day (it will set them automatically according to your geographical location). There is a motion sensor that, when activated, will turn the light on and off according to movement. However, I found myself waving my hand periodically to keep it on when reading or browsing under the light. There is also a sensor for having it automatically adjust according to the ambient light around the lamp. This is clearly a high-tech lamp in a class of its own. Considerations: A lamp in this price-range is an investment, not a casual purchase. So ... • Decor. This is definitely 'Industrial Tech', so be sure it will be compatible with its surroundings. I first set mine up in our traditional-styled living room to test its features. The contrast was not at all flattering (I'm being kind). On the other hand, it will shine (pun intended) in its deployment to my music workstation. It should also excel as a light for work-tables, small hobby activities, and over various dedicated locations such as tables for games or puzzles - and, of course, over an uncluttered computer station. • Low-light. The brightness and versatility of this lamp is impressive. It even includes a 'boost' mode that gives its fullest, brightest light. However, when using it for low-light activities like reading or browsing, I could not dim the light as far as I wanted and found myself swinging it further behind me to get the desired level. If your intended use and decor are right, this is a unique, premium lamp with a wide range of features, control and adaptability. An added plus is that it will definitely garner attention and start conversations!

Dyson does it again, I can’t get over how cool my desk lamp is. Setup up takes about 4 minutes, then just download the Dyson Link app and follow instructions. I really like the app, the back ground of the app matches the color temp of the lamp setting (a neat feature). In the app you can control the Kelvin temp of the light from 2700k to 6500K. You can also boost the lux from 100lx to 1000lx (max boost for short periods.) I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of research that went in to this. (over 850 prototypes, 90 engineers) the lamp is reportedly going to last for up to 60 years (kind of a powerful claim) I will make sure and put this lamp in my will and pass it down as I probably won’t be here to see that. When in manual mode you can sync the light to match your daylight via the app, you can also use the presets for studying, relaxing, precision lighting, or make your own customization of a particular light setting. Motion detection can also be set to know when to auto shut off when your presence is not detected. These can be done from the lamp (buttons under and touch on top, or the app. The latter being my choice.) The lamp is able to mate with all of the smart home gadgets (google, Alexa etc.) The lamp uses pullies to move up and down and left and right and swivel around. Also known as 3 Axis motion glide Technology. It can be set to about any position you need for all my jobs from working on bills, reading, writing, putting models together. The actual LED lamp part is very small (about the size of a silver dollar) but pack tons of power. It uses a technology called Heat Pipe where a drop of water rests above the LED allowing the LED to be placed close together and this results in over 640 lux, or in Laymen’s terms VERY BRIGHT!! DO not accidentally look into this led light, it would almost be as bad as staring into the sun. If you are looking for lamp that is one of the most versatile ones on the market, this is the one. Suitable for any desk or job. I would recommend this for family or friends.

Very underwhelming product. I like that there is flexibility with the adjustable height and movable arm, but there is a big lack of features for what is suppose to be a premium product. So the light as motion sensor which is also great, but you are really limited to two lighting features, brightness and color temperature. There is a button that allows for the light to match the current lighting environment. The also sub par app only adds a couple pre-built functions. 1) Synchronize with the currently lighting environment. 2) Study and 3) Relax. Otherwise it just gives you the option to adjust the brightness and color temperature the same as you can do directly on the lamp. This is via Bluetooth connection, which you have to be within 30 ft or so from the lamp. This is not a smart lamp, it can not connect to your wifi network. So the app here adds very little value. The style is not for everyone and will not fit in every decor. In fact, my spouse said it was flat out ugly, while I thought it was ok looking and good enough to throw down in the office not visible to anyone that uses the office. Again, i like the lighting movement adjustability and being able to adjust the brightness and coolness of the light, but you can also get those rather inexpensively with a smart bulb that can be placed in a lamp that can match your decor. The LEDs in this lamp will last forever, but you are stuck with a crane looking thing. I would have expected some more functionality out of the light coming from Dyson, so unfortunately this was a disappointment.

    The perfect desk lamp

The Dyson Desk Lamp is probably the perfect lamp. Like most Dyson products, there is an abundance of engineering that went into creating this device. The lamp is expensive. But you don't buy a Dyson product because you want to save money. You buy it because you want the best. Well, this is it. Everything about this lamp screams quality. It can be adjusted about any way you want, and the adjustments are very smooth. I like the counterweight that keeps the height where you want it. It makes the lamp a little retro, too. I also like the auto feature that lets you set a location and allow the lamp to dictate the brightness and type of light needed, from cool in the morning to warm in the evening as you're winding up your day. The touch sensitive controls are also a plus. The Desk Lamp is also very efficient. The LEDs are kept cool by the use of a heat pipe, most commonly used to cool computer processors. This also helps to increase the life of the LEDs, which Dyson rates at 144,000 hours. The LEDs save electricity, as does the motion sensor that turns the lamp off if you forget to. If you're at a desk most of the day, there are a few things you should have. You need a good chair, a functional desk, a high quality computer monitor, and good lighting. For lighting, it doesn't get any better than the Dyson Desk Lamp.

Using this lamp, I realized how useful the light emulation can be. I'm typically used to the standard, warm white lights or the harsh fluorescent lights that actually make me tired. I find that I squint a lot less when using this desk lamp. A terrible habit I may have help kicking. Sounds "over the top," but it does make a difference. I have been using the "light cycle" function and the subtle changes throughout the day are similar to the blue light filters of my cellphone and PC. My eyes feel less strained by the end of the day. The build is solid. Whether changing height or rotation, it shifts and moves with ease and stays in place. The lamp is cool to the touch. The app is intuitive, and has yet to crash, which I was not expecting. It has the necessary controls should I need a light "boost" on the spot. As for negatives, so far as I can tell, you can change the folding angle. You can go up and down, but it would have been nice to be able to position the lamp completely vertical(straight) if that makes sense. The other is the lack of integration in my smart home ecosystem. But, that's being picky for the purpose of this lamp. You want the best, intuitive, light possible for your desk work space, this will definitely do the trick.

This light is bright, sturdy, well balanced, visually appealing, and does not put off any heat. The controls are easy to use both on the fixture and in the phone app. Custom settings allow different light levels and color tones. It can either be manually operated or fully automatic when it comes to adjusting the brightness and tones based on the surrounding light coming in from the windows and / or other light fixtures. There are a few minor issues but definitely not deal breakers. First, the fixture needs a lot of open space for the horizontal arm to fit. Otherwise it can end up hitting the wall. I wish the arm could be moved diagonally to raise the light higher than the top of the vertical arm. As is, the height only goes up so much. Lastly, when in auto mode, the light sometimes readjusts when a white paper is placed under it. Either my eyes adjust accordingly or it slowly reverts back to a normal level. It is a little annoying but can be prevented simply by being in the manual mode. The fixture can be updated with the phone app via bluetooth so maybe that is something they can change in a future update. Ultimately, it is still a really nice light. One small, unobtrusive LED fixture puts out a really impressive amount of light.

Is this a little overboard? Yes. Is this from Dyson so who cares? Also yes. I love Dyson, I have many of their Vacuums, and now this desktop lamp. The packaging is like you would expect along with the build quality. Putting together the lamp is pretty easy and the instructions are clear on how to do that. I had the lamp put together within 5 minutes. There are many settings to choose from, such as light color temperature, brightness, auto brightness, motion detecting on/off, and a program that matches the lighting based on the current outdoor light. There are 3 axis in which you can adjust the lamp, forward and backward, up and down, and rotation. You cannot tilt the lamp, but you don't need to when using it as the other adjustments prove to work quite well. I would give this 5 stars but I've had to unplug and completely re-set up the light because it completely looses connection with the app. Once this happened the light would have a bit of a mind of its own in terms of brightness. We will see how the goes long term. Other than the connection issue, the lamp provides excellent colored light and is easy on the eyes.

When I recieved the light the first thing I noticed how well it was packaged. If you have ever owned an Apple product it is very similar. Putting the light together was simple and required no tools and I was up and running in minutes. When I downloaded the app it walks you through the setup process which again was very easy. Once you get into the app it asks you a few questions about age, etc. so it can help set the light right based on your age. There are endless ways to customize your light which I felt was a little too much based on all the different settings. Once you get it how you want it’s as simple as touching one button on the light itself or in the app. The light is very bright (the way I set it up) and built beautifully. It appears this light will last 60 years just like the bulbs. I also like to USB Charger on the back so I can plug in my phone. My only reason I took away one star is the price. I feel like you could get a great looking light and stick a Phillips HUE bulb and get the same affect for much cheaper. Overall I love the look and functionality of the lamp and everyone notices it as soon as they walk in but the price is a bit high for what you get.

This light is packed full of features that any techy would love. Unboxing you will find it’s easy to assemble and has high build quality parts. I already had the Dyson app so set up was a breeze. The light dose look best at a desk but I liked it so much it’s on my night stand next to my bed. Easy to use controls on top of the unit. Color temperature from warn to cool. Brightness level and a power button. On the bottom side you will find three more features. The first button will automatically change the light level and brightness throughout the day according to your location. Than you have a Motion detector that will turn the light on when is sees motion. I liked this one when it was on my desk. Just walking in to the room and the light would come on. And the last as an auto button this will adjust to background light. Down towards the base You will find a USB-C charging port. Which comes in handy on my night stand for charging my phone over night. You can fully Control the light from the Dyson app which is also packed full of features and settings. This has been a fun light to play with.

Dyson never disappoints and this lamp is yet another product that proves that. It was very VERY easy to assemble, with clear easy directions. The design is like nothing give seen before. I love how sleek it looks to the point where I don’t think people would notice it was a lamp until they walked past it. Which brings me to my favorite feature. I immediately put this lamp in my home office because I keep a lot of things in my desk that I need throughout the day and the fact that every time I walk by it I don’t have to worry about turning a light on because it turns on automatically if someone walks by it and once it hasn’t detected any motion it cuts off after 2 minutes. I woke up during the middle to find a little night light on since I have it set to adjust to the time and light in my area. Just a great product I want the standup light now.

So the number one thing that stands out about this lamp is the very good build quality. The other thing that was very nice was the ease of assembly. The lamp goes together almost effortlessly. No screws or tools required. The lamp arm is perfectly balanced against the counterweight that holds it up so wherever you move the lamp arm it stays. This is very nice as other lamps you often have to readjust them. The Lamp is very bright almost too much in fact. I only really have 2 complaints, the "crane" type arm can sometimes get in the way if your in a tight area with the lamp, and I wish the brightness could be turned down just a little more. Even on its lowest setting if you are in a dark room the lamp can seem fairly bright. Overall the lamp is very nice, the quality and functionality are all on point for a solid product.

The Dyson desk light has some great features. It is very easy to move it to the optimal place since it swivels and goes up and down effortlessly. The other great features include the sensor for turning on and off due to inactivity, the automatic daylight, study and relax modes, and the ability to adjust the brightness and the warmth manually. I also like that you can control the light either manually or with the app. This desk light is perfect for crafting and doing other close up work. It was easy to install and seems to be good quality. It would have earned five stars had it been able to go up higher for when I use my standing desk, and if the light head could tilt to reduce glare. I definitely recommend this lamp for anyone who needs to control their desktop or work space lighting.

Who doesn’t want a light projected to last 60 years? Takes 5 mins if that to assemble. Feels like a super sturdy product. I never even knew I wanted a light that changes color temperature based on time of day specific to my area, but it’s awesome. Turns on automatic when I’m working under it. Completely and easily adjustable in dyson app. Can adjust to very bright. Cool industrial modern design. I have it for my photo studio. Such a cool addition. Adjustable vertically and horizontally with the strength of a pinky finger. And if I leave it on, it will turn off for me. This is my second Dyson product an I’m amazed again how they can take something as simple as a lamp and turn it into masterpiece. I absolutely recommend it.
