I live with 3 women and a dog. By far this is the only vacuum that can handle the amount of hair these women shed! Highly impressive! With that said, if it’s on the boost cycle, battery lasts maybe 20-25 minutes.

This thing is great! Easy to use, light weight and very powerful.

Bought this on the Christmas special for $269. It is very handy and maneuverable. We have a Dyson DC25 Animal that we have had for quite some time and with regular cleaning and maintenance it has been going strong. However we recently got a new dog (great pyrenees) and the amount of fur requires nearly daily vacuuming. This cordless allows this task to be quick and easy. I will say however if I had a full home to clean the capacity of this would make for frequent canister emptying. I am in a 1,300 sq ft condo and the 45 min charge life is perfect for our use case. I have to empty the canister 4 times on average when cleaning the whole condo. The brush heads do a good job at preventing hair from tangling for the most part, but I would recommend checking and pulling out any stragglers after every use. Overall I am happy with the purchase so far and the sale really made it an easy purchase price to handle.

This thing is a beast! It’s picked up everything that I or any of my guests drop for it. I have carpet in my room and laminate everywhere else and it works great on both surfaces. I also have a husky and it is awesome for cleaning up all the pet hair she sheds. The battery life has been perfect for my apartment and I’m sure in a house it would also perform great. There are 3 different power levels and the battery readings have been accurate on how long each power level would last. I didn’t think I’d ever spend this money on a vacuum but I think the older I get the more I’m seeing and get excited with products like this that make my life easier to clean my living space. Definitely worth the price and even more so if you can get it on any kind of sale.

This Dyson cordless vacuum comes with multiple heads, which makes it easy to clean different spaces and types of flooring. I don’t have wall-to-wall carpet—mostly wooden floors and just one 6×6 rug. I used to clean that rug by hand from time to time, so I thought it was already pretty clean, but I was honestly shocked by how much dirt the Dyson pulled out. It works perfectly on wood floors and does a great job on smaller rugs too. The only downside is the charging time—if the battery runs out, you have to wait. It would be even better if it could be plugged in and used while charging. Overall, very impressive performance.

Was excited to purchase my dyson v9 vacuum .Got home and unpacked ,started vacuum and have stop.the power behind this vacuum, I tried it on thick carpet and it still got that powerful suction. Loving my dyson!!!

Trying to keeep dirt and crumbs off the floor when you have pets and kids is always an extreme understaking. You sweep, pull out a full vacuum and hope to keep up. This dyson V9 has changed the game for my family. Its so compact and light, has three suction settings (eco medium and boost), differnet attachments and decent battery life. On average it gets about 30 minitrs for battery life, which is pleanty of time to clean what is needed.

This is the most I have ever spent on a vacuum. And yeah...it works better than any vacuum I have ever owned before. We have cats, and it gets the hair pretty good. So I'll make a wishlist instead. While you can mount this to a wall, I do wish this could stand on its own. Battery life is pretty good, I do wish it could last longer but I'll keep what we have for the portability. Saying that, Usb-C everything please. Do wish it was easier to empty the dirt. Feels difficult to open the container and sometimes you have to pull some of the dirt out yourself. Something in there to push it out I think would be pretty cool. Buy this for $250, any higher... I would personally pass

I bought this vacuum about 1 month ago and it has been a stellar change for my cleaning routine! It's lightweight, maneuverable, has multiple cleaning applications, and for the price? You really can't beat it. My whole life I've been used to hefty vacuums that you'd have to lug around, this one was so lightweight I was shocked it had so much suction power - especially for being a cordless.

I’ve wanted a Dyson V9 for a long time. The price was right so I ordered it during the Black Friday sale. Pros: has great suction, three speeds and has a run time listing for every speed. Cons: you have to hold your finger on the trigger for it to run. I do recommend it. Wished I had of purchased two of them, one for my home and one for my camper.

I THOUGHT I liked my previous vacuum till the hose broke off. This Dyson picks up so much more dirt and debris not to mention cat hair. Never liked vacuuming but now it’s almost fun. I love that you can adjust the sucking power as needed. Highly recommend!!

I am in love with this vaccum. I use it on all of my lvp, tile, and carpet floors and use every attachment possible to get corners, ceilings, around my cats litter box etc. Its been a game changer since Ive been able to stop broom sweeping my 2400sqft home!
