Customers recognize the Outsize Cordless Vacuum's excellent battery life and strong suction power as major strengths, frequently praising its ease of use and the inclusion of multiple attachments. However, some customers find the vacuum's weight to be a significant drawback, and a few mention concerns about the price point and trigger mechanism. The larger dustbin is also a plus for many users.

If you’re on the fence about this Dyson, just do yourself a favor and get it. It is nothing short of incredible. The pure power on this vacuum is outstanding, and the way it can adjust its suction automatically depending on the floor type you’re cleaning works phenomenally. Plus, the 3 modes provide plenty of options when you’re cleaning. It comes with a ton of attachments, which makes tackling your entire house a breeze. I seriously am so impressed. Coming from a V7 I didn’t think it would get any better but boy was I wrong. The unit also comes with two batteries and chargers so you can really get the entire house clean without needing to wait for a recharge. Huge dust bin, and the filter is a breeze to clean or change as well. Seriously, what’re you waiting for? It’s made cleaning fun again.

I've had a Dyson for a few years now. My last one (V7 Animal) worked great until the battery crapped out. I "traded" it in under my Best Buy Protection plan and got one of these. You can definitely notice the difference in power and efficiency, As my wife put it "Our old vacuum was great for our apartment, but this is what we needed for our new house". The swappable batteries is also a huge plus, so we can swap them out/replace them if they start to die (which was my only complaint about our old Dyson).
Side note: it is noticeably heavier than the other models, but not so heavy that it deters me (or my wife) from using it. Also - I got it as Black Friday deal so it was like $200 off the regular price.

What a fantastic vacuum. It has an automatic setting that adjusts beautifully between my wood floors and the rugs. Although it seems a little bit louder, I think it's only because it is using the proper amount of suction - it doesn't miss a speck. The canister is much larger, and the battery seems more powerful. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants the top of the line vacuum. It is so nice that it is lightweight and can maneuver into tight places. I love my vacuum!!!

First of all, this vacuum is amazing. It’s cordless, yet cleans dog hair off my area rugs better than my full size, corded, $400 Shark Apex. It’s convenient, comes with two batteries and chargers, and the run time is plenty to do my whole 2000 sq. ft. house. The attachments are great, especially the one with the roller bar that you use when using it as a handheld. HOWEVER, I really want to ask Dyson how they can justify making a $1000 vacuum that you have to physically hold the power button the whole time. It makes zero sense to me. (FYI, they make rubber coated metal twist ties, these work great to keep the button depressed so your hand isn’t cramping by the time you’re done).

An excellent vacuum that’s well worth the hype. Definitely superior suction. Last plenty long. Note this battery time is factored with the two battery that it came with. Only downside is that it’s a bit awkward in the hand. It’s not necessarily heavy, but when you’re twisting and turning it does hurt the hand after a bit. Not a big deal but something to consider if you are going to be vacuuming for extended periods of time.

Love the power and cleaning ability of this vacuum. Use this vacuum on a room after you have already vacuumed it with your prior vacuum and you’ll be amazed at how much more stuff it’s capable of lifting from your carpet. You won’t be disappointed. Super easy to bring around the house with no need for power outlets. Great for stairs too.

I really like the Dyson stick sweepers. It is very easy to operate and the oversized bin makes it more user friendly as you don’t have to empty it as often. Very good suction and since 3 levels of power makes it easy to change types of surfaces. Product is not cheap but worth the cost.
Also Dyson customer service is very helpful and easy to deal with.

This is my first Dyson but I’m very impressed. I bought the second battery but have a 1600 square foot townhouse and so far have not needed it. It’s so much easier to use than corded models, especially on stairs. The attachments are quick and easy to switch out. I’ve used it on everything from pet hair to drywall dust and it does wonderful.

Powerful vacuum. Like the wider head which covers more surface area, longer run time to clean the whole house, and larger canister so you don't have to empty but once when you are done. It is heavier than other models. Our previous dyson the trigger would get stuck on and won't turn off unless you turned the filter or put the vacuum back in the cradle. But it cleaned really well. Saved the stick with the smaller head for smaller places. Glad it fits this new one too.

Replaced my previous v10 Dyson vacuum. So far the battery life seems to hold up better, not to mention having a second battery on hand if the first one runs out.
I like having the bigger vacuum head and bigger canister, although it is a but heavier which is to be expected. And... the vacuum canister seems to empty easier than the v10.

Oh my goodness, this is truly worth the expense and I NEVER buy expensive, top of the line anything!
I've used this vacuum many times all over my house and only had to charge the initial battery once since I first fully charged it upon arrival!
I have a 1900sq ft house with carpet, wood, and rugs. The motor auto adjusts to each floor type quickly and does an AMAZING job picking up all the stuff my old vacuum left behind my (I purposely vacuumed the whole house with it before trying out this Dyson and almost filled up the Dyson canister with all my old one left behind!!)
It shows how much battery time is left right on the top screen, which is very helpful. And it comes with a ton of different attachments for cleaning furniture, beside the fridge, etc.
Holding down the on switch all the time is a pain, so I use one of thise Velcro cord holders around it when I vacuum for longer periods and that solved that!
I did not purchase the stand, but I have a large utility him in my laundry room wall that holds it just fine!
Only recommendation to Dyson: make the switch an on/off click for future models please.

I absolutely love this vacuum it is everything in comparison to the V8 and the v10 - the double battery pack is a life and time saver, but even if I only had one battery with the outsize it lasts me about 40-45 minutes on the regular mode! Eco mode doesn't make me feel great, the power of it doesn't seem like its getting as much off my floor - the Boost mode on all of the vacuums last for only a couple of minutes- I believe you get 3 on this- only worth using it when you’re in desperate need of the extra suction or there’s a spider lol ! Honestly for the price of the other ones it didn’t make any sense to me to not get this! I originally started with the V8 a couple years back- loved it, but it died so fast !!! Then I finally upgraded to the V10 and while I was still within warranty I knew I needed to try this out, so glad I did! I will never go back and for the price hope it lasts years! The only con is the handle is a lot heavier and hurts my wrist after about 15 minutes, but I can always take a break and then go back to it.

I can’t believe the dust it came out of my home when I first used it. Certainly my previous vacuum cleaner wasn’t doing its job. It comes with long lasting 2 batteries and chargers , great for a large home. A bit heavy when it’s hand held. Worth the cleanliness and the value.

The best multi-use vacuum that has great attachments, great capacity, is relatively light-weight and not as loud as previous models. I got this to use all around my house-on hardwood downstairs and carpeted bedrooms upstairs. Very happy with the battery life and performance.

The Vacuum Package You Need

I bought this for my dad after he told me he needed a new vacuum for his birthday. Initially I was looking into the V15 Detect, but that sold faster than toilet paper in the beginning of a pandemic (too soon?) That’s all besides the point, because this vacuum came with a package that I believe beats the V15 Detect right out of the box. The Outsize comes with so many different attachments that it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (you sang that song after you read this, don’t lie) just unboxing everything! The power the power this thing has is unparalleled! I mean, this thing sucks like it came to lose! Believe me when I say the “Boost Mode” will clean a carpet like you would not believe. If you’re looking for a vacuum that can clean the floors, has the versatility to clean other surfaces, is easy to clean, and easy to charge, look no further than the Dyson V11 Outsize

This vacuum will get the job done without emptying the canister every few minutes. Love the large canister and the extra battery. The suction is great and picks up lots of dirt.
Very happy with this purchase.
