Customers recognize the Outsize Cordless Vacuum's excellent battery life and strong suction power as major strengths, frequently praising its ease of use and the inclusion of multiple attachments. However, some customers find the vacuum's weight to be a significant drawback, and a few mention concerns about the price point and trigger mechanism. The larger dustbin is also a plus for many users.

Good not great. This vacum worked well enough on our hardwood floors but I wish it had a bit more suction. The larger bucket was great for a bigger house though!

This is excellent Cordless Vacuum if you can afford it. I hope dyson vacuum to be less expensive. I bought this vacuum because it has removable battery. But I found Outsize vacuum is little too big and heavy for me. I wish dyson has V11 with removable battery. That would be perfect for most of people. If you have more than 5 bedroom this outsize vacuum would be good for you.

I love having no cord!!! I was SO tired of my old cord getting caught on everything and having to go back and fix, tug and pull, or unwind it. Plus I ENJOY that I can take it up the stairs with me and vacuum as I go up without moving a cord!
The battery power/suction works great. It also comes with a second battery so I can switch them out when needed (but the battery lasts a long time).
I also like how the head moves so easily to get in all the nooks and that it automatically adjusts for going from hardwood to carpet (no manual changes needed). And if you want to give a deeper clean to a specific spot, you can switch to the booster mode.
Emptying the tank is easy.
The only thing I’ve had to adjust to is not having a flexible hose. I can swap out the attachments to get into smaller spaces etc., but when it comes to cleaning out my dirty window sills, I’ll be using my old vacuum with the hose because I like the flexibility. I didn’t deduct a star for this because I feel this is a personal preference since you CAN clean the window sill with the attachments provided with this vacuum. If they make a flexible hose attachment (that gets good reviews) I would purchase it.
I do think it’s costly but if it lasts, it’s worth every penny. I believe I had my previous Dyson for 6 years.

Powerful and convenient. I do wish it detected the particles like the v15 but oh well. Only negative was one of the batteries in mine did not work right away but Dyson was quick and easy to have a replacement sent to me! I used to hate vacuuming but not I love it. I am going to buy the fluffy hardwood attachment soon - the only thing this is missing that I wish it had. Great product.

Over the years I have had several "top of the line" vacuum cleaners and none of them have proved to be as good as, let alone better than, my new Dyson - Outsized cordless vacuum cleaner which I purchased from Best Buy. It is better in every way you can ask for and it comes with TWO batteries. I can do ALL my vacuuming without having to stop. Great job Dyson!!!

I love it. It is much stronger and last longer than my previous Dyson. I love that with this one u get an extra battery. It can be a little hard to push on the carpet when it is in the Boost mode. But my house is all wood Floors with a few area rugs so it’s not too much carpet to deal with. I only wish Dyson would make it be able to stand by itself.

It has really good suction and is very easy to maneuver. It has actually made me vacuum more often because the cordless feature and lightweight design makes vacuuming much more convenient. My only complaint is that the battery doesn’t last long enough to clean the entire home, but it does come with an extra battery that extends the battery life enough to cover the whole home.

Love Dyson stick vacuums for their convenience as a repeat owner. This oversized version with two batteries looked like a great option, especially with three dogs that shed lots of hair. I love the power of this vacuum on my hardwood floors and the display that lets me know how much juice I have left. My only issue is that you have to contend with a significantly heavier stick vac. It works for my husband and I but it’s clearly a bit of an issue for my mother who is in her 70s. Great vacuum overall but has some limitations.

Honestly I was a little skeptical about the price and the product it self, but after my first use completely worth it. This vacuum went above and beyond my expectations. Makes cleaning my carpet and wooden floor easy. Picks up all the dog hair and the the attachments make the job easier. The vacuum is about 5 pounds a little heavy but manageable.

I love this vacuum, big canister so you don’t have to empty as often, comes with two batteries so when one dies you have a backup. It is slightly on the heavier side for being a cordless vacuum so at times it hurts my wrists since I have wrist problems. Other than that great vacuum

I’ll love this cordless vacuum. The canister is large so I do the whole house without having to stop and empty it. Comes with plenty of useful attachments which makes it a versatile vacuum. Best part is moving from room to room freely because it’s cordless.

What a powerful vacuum! This device offers through strengths for different surfaces and levels of mess. The extra large container allows for a lot of matter of accumulate before needed to be emptied. At the push of a button, the container slides down and empties the contents. Super modern, sleek and functional.

Had a corded dyson ball vacuum for the last 10 years that still works great. Decided to upgrade to a cordless for convenience. This vacuum out performs the corded in every way. Superior suction that automatically changes when going over different surfaces. Lots of attachments. Worth the purchase. Have to try to see the difference.

This vacuum sucks...literally. I upgrade from a v10 and because of the detachable battery. I now have enough run time to clean the entire house without having to wait for the battery to charge. When one is low, swap it out and snap in the other one. I like the bigger cleaning head and tank. Worth every cent.

The Dyson is a great vacuum cleaner with a lot of options with included accessories. The battery life is good for a 3 level house with multiple rooms. It comes with two batteries which helps extend running time even further. A little heavier than other vacuums but also more powerful.

Honestly changed so much for me, I went from corded vacuums to this and it’s so convenient, it comes with an extra battery so if I wanted to use the strongest boost option I have more time to do so. I have high carpets in my apartment and it literally sucks everything up and then some, I love it. I will say the ONLY negative is it often gets things stuck which is slightly gross to remove but other than that it’s amazing

Only "Upright" Vacuum in Large House

This Vacuum is straight up the best vacuum I have ever used.
It's light, it sucks really hard, and it has never clogged on me.
My previous "budget" stick vacuum would always get clogged, and cleaning it out was a hassle.
The Dyson - Outsize is convenient for a number of reasons:
Convenient Dock to have a static place to hang / charge.
Light compared to traditional vacuums
Versatile: able to be used as a long stick vacuum, or shortened to clean furniture / stairs.
Comes with 2 batteries, I have never used the second.
Plenty of attachments to clean all types of flooring, furniture, etc.
Waste bin is extremely easy to dump without getting your hands dirty.
The only downside to this vacuum is the price, but if you are only going to have one vacuum in your house, this is the most convenient in my opinion.

I purchased this after our other vacuum bit the dust. I can’t get enough of it. It cleans so well. A little heavier than my pervious on me but expected with the larger canister. The battery last forever! I like how long it tells you how much of a charge you have left.
