I used this in conjunction with an A/C unit. It helps to distribute the cool air. At the rate of air increases so does the sound of this bladeless fan.

I purchased the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool for my primary level two years back. Already a Dyson advocate, because of the brand’s extraordinary floor cleaning products, I expected a great product. Dyson has redefined the elements of a fan for me. I needed a fan for my loft and came close to purchasing a common box or oscillating fan. NOPE. I get that the price is steep for a fan and air purifier. The Pure Cool Purifying Fan is well worth the price. The quality, features, and benefits make financial sense when you break down the amount of money you are saving on cooling and filtering (here wild fires are always at issue) and the replacement filters, even running daily, I have only had to replace once after 16 months (btw 3rd parties now make filters for Dyson products at lower prices). If you can make a Dyson investment, I highly recommend doing so. My first Dyson purchase was the Animal vacuum purchased in 2005. The only professional service ever required was a vacuum cleaning specialist doing a deep clean of the machine because I had Alaskan Malamutes, Pugs, and Dachshunds! 18 years later the Dyson Animal vacuum sweeps like new!

Bought this fan for my room five years ago. My cousin loved it so much he has been begging me to give it to him. I was so happy to see it was on sale just in time for his birthday! He loves it and uses it everyday. They are very quiet, powerful, and the sleek design brings an ambiance of elegance to the room.

Bought this for my mom for her birthday a few years ago. She loves it! She has always loved the idea of a Dyson having no blades so we got her the fan/purifier combo. It works great and she uses it frequently! She likes that it’s pretty quiet and it comes with a remote!

Very quiet and useful for medium size of room. Basically im using this for my leaving room because i chabge my ceiling fan to chandelier. So idont have space for ceiling fan and also looking some time of fan which has average height and tale less space. So i found dyson is the best choice and modern design. Happy to buy it. And it has air purifier which help our room more pollen free and germ free.

Please note I bought this on sale for $299. This is a luxury product through and through. The fan strength itself is nothing special frankly speaking. A cheap desk fan likely preforms the same in that regard. One pro vs a "normal" fan is the 10-level fan strength adjustability. The included remote control does a good job of making any setting changes easy. Oscillation works as expected although being able to adjust total angle travel would have been a nice addition at this price point. The HEPA filter is easy to change and is rated to last 1 year which I find more than reasonable. This filtration is the star of the show and is the only practical reason to indulge in this purchase. Although one perk I enjoy is the lack of fins that always collect dust and end up looking grimy on a typical cheap fan. Like I said, this is simply luxury. Overall, I enjoy owning this fan and the ease of mind provided by the HEPA filter. It elevates whatever room it's in and certainly cannot be accused of not doing what is advertised.

This summer we wanted to level up and not solely rely on our AC. After more than 2 mos using it, I can recommend this product. Much quieter than your typical fan. Easy to use remote. Wonderful oscillating feature. If you can spwnd a few extra bucks, do it!

This fan I’m in love with and would never go back to a normal fan ever again has a air purifier on the bottom also having a propeller less fan is so clutch no dust gets on the fans like a normal one would have one of the best purchases for this heat so far such a good company also

Let me start by saying, this isn’t inexpensive. I decided to go with this Dyson fan because I have a 5 year old child and l didn’t want her to stick something inside the fan blade or her fingers inside for that matter. As soon as I set it up and turned it on, my daughter stuck her hand through it. So safety is a must and the Dyson fan came through. Super easy to setup, very quite, multiple fans speeds, isolates, timer function, comes with a small remote control that easily sticks to the top for easy storage and you hopefully will not lose it Very easy to use remote, just four buttons and that’s it. I really like it, cools the room nicely, especially during the summertime.

Been using this fan for over a year now and it is much better than my previous one. I like that it is not only easy to clean, but also functions as an air purifier, which helps with my dust allergies. Changing the filter is very easy as well.

The Dyson was a great purchase. It keeps things cool while also purifying. Typically, my allergies will act up when a fan is on but I haven't had an issue with this one. While it does get a bit loud when you have it set higher, it becomes background noise and I hardly notice it now.

Fan works great. Blows plenty of air for our bedroom and love the quiet mode for our son who sleeps with it on right next to him

Cool, quiet - the Steve McQueen of fans. Works great. When the Canadian wildfire smoke was here - we shut the bedroom door and turned the Dyson on high. I was able to breathe well in the bedroom - no small feat - considering I have asthma. Worth every penny!

Excellent product. Makes a big difference in the house. Quiet but powerful. Our basement always had the “basement smell,” but after 24hrs of this running, it smells just as clean as any other room in the house. Definitely does the job. Don’t spend $500 on the newest model, get this one, you’ll be just as happy and save a ton.

This works great when I’m actually at home to enjoy it. But instead I’m stuck over my girlfriend’s apartment that won’t let me leave or else she has a panic attack. I miss my freedom.

Quiet. Efficient. Amazing. We constantly run our purifier and have not noticed an increase in our power bill. I typically do like air to blow directly on me, so I absolutely love the feature to reverse the flow of the air. Design does not take up a lot of space.

My husband needed a fan for his man cave. He wanted something quiet that wouldn’t disturb “the guys” when they were all hanging out there for the game. This did the trick! No stuffiness, heat or (smells) after those Saturdays college football games!
