This Dyson hot n cool link 400 air purifier is amazing. I’ve purchased three other air purifiers over the years and this one is better than all three of them put together. My son has allergies and asthma and is living in a basement room that is musty and even perhaps moldy. This Dyson air purifier not only helped his allergies but cleared up the musty smell completely. It also heats and cools his large room quite well, without a huge rise in the electric bill. I was able to get a prescription from his doctor for the air purifier and use my flexible spending uncovered medical expenses to get reimbursed for it. Well worth the money!

Only docking 1 star because I wish this fan worked better in larger rooms. That being said, I have it right near my bed in my bedroom so the fan is within a good range of me all night. It is a huge relief to have one machine that will cool and heat in the same machine. It also purifies the air, and the app shows that the purifier doesn't run when it doesn't need to, so even if you have the fan or heating on, it won't run the purifier function and drain your filter of life.

I love dyson products. Have 2 of their vacuums and hair dryer. Now I decided to get the fan/purifier. And here are my thoughts. Pros: - good as a purifier coz I don’t have stuffy nose at night anymore now that I’m using it. - it has built in timer for up to 9 hours - it’s bladeless - love the blue color - haven’t use the app but I can see how it can be helpful and control everything from there and see your room air quality - easy to clean Cons: - expensive, both the purifier and filter price - fan is not very strong as compared to a vornado, even at the highest setting. But this could be becoz of the purifier feature? I dunno - can be loud at highest setting - it’s just a fan so don’t expect it will blow you cold air when it’s hot I will probably give it 5 stars if it’s not that expensive. I just feel the price is too much for what it does. But I decided to keep it anyway, mostly for the look, purifier feature. I wish dyson would come up with washable filters. Then maybe the price is more justifiable.

I bought this mainly to use as a fan, but it helps to use as an air purifier as well, and the heater is a nice additional accessory although I haven't needed it and probably won't use the heater much. I am using the fan in my bedroom, where it is very quiet and works great to circulate cool air very nicely. and I hardly even notice the air movement. The speed range is a great plus, if I need more air movement, but I found the proper setting where it is most comfortable for me. My dog loves to lay in front of it and enjoy the cool breeze, and he would not tolerate any other normal fan. It's a little pricey but I have had good experiences with other Dyson products and I feel it is worth the price for a quality product, and it's perfect for my needs.

This is a great product, for a small to medium-sized room. It keeps the space nice and warm, has a timer to keep the space warm overnight, and shuts off when done. Makes a little noise at higher levels, so be prepared for that.

This product performed ok with the heating and cooling BUT I could NOT get past the rattling noise it makes when oscillating. I bought the same model of this HP02 (in white) a couple years ago and don't understand how THIS ONE being the same model AND a lot more money AND it rattles BAD when oscillating and NO it's not just this one, I returned the first one thinking it was a defective one but NO IT'S NOT. This one does the same thing and louder. I can't sleep with hearing that. Not worth the expensive price with such a noise. I hate to do it but back it goes.

Great heater loved it. Only minor issue is it would turn off on its own sometimes

I have always wanted to get a Dyson fan, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the price. I finally took the plunge and I am so happy that I did. The almost silent gentle air movement is great for sleeping. The air purification is a bonus.

I was expecting it to be bigger. It looks sleek so thats a plus. Heating a room 15x15 takes a while to do so. (compared to a 20 dollar heater from Amazon ) When its oscillating it makes a clicking sound. That’s annoying. But purifing and fan portion are wonderful definitely exceeds expectations

Love it but too pricey. Promoting good health should not cost a lot.

Bought this for our guest bedroom that is strangely always colder than the rest of the house. It works perfectly as a heater that evenly warms up the room. Love that you can easily use your mobile device or the remote to control it. I always seem to lose the remote so it’s great to have the phone option. I wouldn’t be surprised if we buy another one (or two) for other parts of the house.

This fan works great, heats and cools, and connects to your phone so you don't even have to get out of bed to adjust the temperature. The added bonus of air purifying and air quality readings is just icing on the cake.

Got this for my office room which is the only room in the house that doesn’t get much heat. It is sleek and works as described. Love the remote and multiple settings. I had originally naught a space heater, but it kept triggering the breaker. This did not trigger my breaker. It heats up the room fast, definitely worth the price if can last a long time. Love dyson products!

Quick tip, this is NOT an air conditioner or a fan. It is an AIR PURIFIER. If you want an air conditioner or a fan, go buy one. If you want to breathe again, especially with asthma, buy this. I started having major problems with allergies and my asthma trying to kill me. My poor dog was suffering allergies too which she has never done before. So, while we were both crying with burning eyes, I did some research and decided to look for an air purifier. Dyson is a good brand and there are good reviews on these smaller ones. Got some money together and bought this. Holy heck. It has changed mine and my dog's life. Allergies cleared up for both of us and my asthma stopped trying to kill me on a daily basis. I have it customized to only run during the times I'm awake since I don't have problems with my asthma at night while I'm sleeping. This allows the filter to last a whole year before it needs to be changed. Which is handy since those filters are pricy. I have the app set to most sensitive setting, so it will come on and run several times a day. It has kept the air clean and got rid of some smells like accidently burning something in the kitchen. Now, it can technically be used somewhat like a fan. But I don't recommend it. It doesn't have the wide air flow like fans do, it is noisy where my deaf self can hear it, and it uses a lot of power. It is handy if you're doing a quick workout right in front of it to give you some air, but that's it. An actual fan will work much better and not break your power bill. Same goes for the heater. The heater part works fantastic, but it RUNS your bill to the roof. If you have it on for a few minutes in the morning to take the chill out, then it's not a big deal. But leaving it on all night will make you cry later. Plus, when the heater is running, it's not purifying the air. I start having asthma problems again if I leave it on too long. This air purifier has saved me through a home surrounded by every allergen possible year-round, and in a home surrounded by wildfires and smoke at least half the year. It is still going strong 2 years later and I hope to buy the tower version of it in the future to put in the other part of my home.

So far this heater is excellent we have it go as low as 8 degrees here this winter and we barely have this thing turned on in our bedroom and i have to turn it off in the middle of the night

I wish that the unit was a bit taller and really only will work effectively in small room. I like the features but have to be right next to it to feel the hot/cool. Might be useful to some but not for us.

As expected the heater is pretty expensive for what you're getting, but you probably know that going into it. If you can get it on sale that's ideal, I think I found a deal for $275 for this one which made it pretty doable. Cost aside, the heater is great it moves a significant amount of air and is plenty capable of cooling large rooms. The biggest room it's been in is a huge studio that has no air circulation or venting, the studio is ~70' long by 30' wide with 12' ceilings. It did struggle with that, but that is also a ridiculously large room. The internet connectivity is a bit unnecessary outside of scheduling, I would be happy with a model that lacked that for a bit less money.

to the same thing... but now dyson has a model with an air purifier!!! i give it that this machine is much quieter then other brands.... air purifying wise at least... the color I got was grey and matte instead of shiny shiny like my last one.... looks pretty sick (as in cool) then the model I used to have... that dyson was shiny.... aside from being quiet and looking cool.... it may not be worth the money to buy him.... i've just had good experiences with a number of other products they carry.... so i continued myjourney being a loyal dyson customer.... and now that V8.... (▰˘◡.˘▰)

Absolutely love it! keeps the air quality a1. I don’t love that you can’t control the heat with the phone app but I do love that you can see the air control on the app

We've actually purchased two of these, one for the bedroom and one for our living room. We are full-time RVers and this fan did a great job of keeping us cool at night in the summer and now keeps us toasty in the winter. I love that it is hooked up to our WiFi and I can keep tabs on how hot or cold our RV is at while we are at work to make sure our dogs are comfortable. We can change the temp settings from anywhere on our phones. It was worth the money in our opinion.
