At first, I thought maybe I hit the power button by accident, but when I checked, it had completely shut off. I’ve used a brand-new Dyson before, and this one definitely doesn’t match up—it’s just not as powerful in terms of heat or airflow. While the refurbished price is lower than retail, it’s still a significant investment—and not worth it if the unit stops working within weeks. The Dyson hair dryer is definitely a splurge, but in my experience, the speed and power make it worth it. This refurbished version just isn’t it. I’ll likely wait for a sale and buy a new one instead.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not waste your money, this dryer has a 2 year warranty, mine died at 2 years and 6 weeks, so according to Dyson it’s out of warranty and I’m out of luck. I always took care of it, cleaned the lint filter every time I used it, there’s no reason it should break. I’ve had cheap dryers that lasted 5 times as long. This dryer is way too expensive to break like this. I’ll never buy another Dyson product.
