Totally worth the money. Light, easy to maneuver and cleans very well

I loved its size, mobility and ease of emptying the collection cup, but this machine has such a ferocious grip, we couldn't move the darn thing back and forth across the pile on the carpet without physically lifting it up (a struggle because of its preternatural suction grip) and putting it back down on another part of the carpet. I swear I thought it was pulling the carpet right off it's tacking. Needless to say, we returned it. Instead got a Shark, comparable features and size, less money, but actually vacuums and is easy to push/pull over the carpeting, as well as engineered wood flooring. Wanted to get a Dyson, but not sure how other owners of this brand, or the Small Ball model, handle such ridiculous suction!

Had Dyson before so as expected light weight, easy to roll over floors, suction power good. Ball does not allow you to get under furniture so you use the detachments. Cord must be dealt with when backing up.

Dyson - Small Ball Multifloor Bagless Upright Vacuum is relatively light (12 lbs) and very powerful for its size. It does a excellent job but is somewhat pricey.

It was very easy to assemble and light weight!!! It does an amazing job on carpet and hard wood floors!!! I highly recommend Dyson!!!!

This vacuum will clean dirt other brands won’t even budge. Compact so a great size for apartment living or to keep in a small are or closet. Would travel well due to size also. A little hard to push on carpet bc of the incredible suction, but when I see what it picks up, the pros outweigh the less than perfect ease of use on normal carpet. If someone is buying to use on carpet and ease of use is a necessity, this is something you want to take into account.

Lightweight and easy to use. Works great on both carpet and hard surfaces. Best of all its not very noisy. Emptying the cup is wonderfully single handed

Love love love love love love love this vacuum. It was worth every single penny. I have chronic OA throughout my fingers and hands, my feet, my knee and hip making it VERY difficult for me to do my own housework much less vacuum. Not anymore! The machine is light, easy to maneuver and holy cats - the amount of cat hair it's sucked up already is mind blowing! The machine was easy to put together and I'm pretty dumb when it comes to doing things like that so A+ there. I highly recommend this as a senior female suffering from chronic OA pain.

Let’s start out with saying we have definitely used this vaccum. REALLY used every day for a week. We had fleas in our apartment and it is helping get rid of them. The vaccum has amazing power and is easy to use once you get use to the different buttons/handles. Easy to clean. My complaint is that it is not as rugged or tough as the previous models and I have a crack in the side of the cyclone part, as well as the trigger to release the dirt out has broken just from lightly tapping it on the dumpster to make sure all the contents were removed.

It’s been a great vacuum. Especially since it’s so lightweight yet powerful. We have a cat who sheds and it works perfect, even though it’s not part of the animal line. Since it is the smaller version (has a smaller canister) you just have to make sure to empty it every time. This works fine for us since we only have a living room rug and carpeted stairs and upstairs. This is also helpful that it transitions into the wood floors easily without any need to adjust anything.

This vacuum really sucks, it sucks so much dirt and pet hair up. Light weight, easy to use, quite and easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Lightweight, easy to stow. Not as cumbersome as the previous vacuums we've used. Works well on Carpet and floors.

Great product but price is high considering many brands offer similar performance. Used the cordless rechargeable one for years and would like to see something this size in cordless as well.

I bought this to replace my brilliant DC-14 after years of excellent performance. I was told that this was the comparable model. Got it home & rigged up... Cons: Feels cheaper - less sturdy - than previous generations. The back "wheels" are hard plastic can be harsh on your hardwood floors. When moving it in locked position tilted back on the back wheels, the slightest pause or bump causes the intake to fall down. The wand can only be used with the power cord completely uncoiled. Pros: suction is very good. Emptys easily. Light. Long power cord. It is an efficient vacuum cleaner out of the box, but it feels less durable than previous Dysons I've had and I've got a few niggles that may be down to personal preference, or perhaps I should just have gotten the big one.

Really love the power behind this vacuum. It does an excellent job on our white carpets. I love that the handle can be compressed to fit into a smaller storage space. The vacuum is very lightweight and I'm perfectly comfortable hauling it around, pregnant. I imagine this would be great for anyone who can't handle a heavier model. The canister is small but for a small space, it's not an issue. Larger spaces you'd just need to empty more frequently.

We had a very powerful Vacuum that was so heavy you could hardly push it around. We decided to go to Best Buy and talk with some of the people there to see if we cold get one with the same suction only lighter. They showed us this Dyson and how it worked, so we got it and brought it home. It had turned out to be the best vacuum cleaner we have ever had and it is so light has made vacuuming so much easier Thanks Best Buy Thumper

We were looking for something that is lightweight but still powerful and we are pretty happy with our purchase as it is exactly what we needed. It is easy to carry and clean after. I only wish Dyson puts more accesories with the initial purchase as we needed to purchase quite a few more tools additionally. Overall we are quite happy with the purchase.

This vacuum is really lightweight, so it makes doing stairs really easy and living in a two story townhome this is really important. It's not a vacuum specifically for pets, but with having three cats it works really well. The only qualm I have is the attachments piece does not stay on the vacuum and the attachments don't stay in their mini plastic rack, which is really annoying. Other than that, I would recommend this vacuum.

I was a little skeptical using a smaller vacuum for my entire house but no bags means you can dump out the chamber as many times as you want for free. This lets the whole family use a lighter and more portable vacuum that still has great power. No news on reliability yet as I've only had it for a month or so but Dysons are known to last.

Great vacuum for all-purpose cleaning. Very strong suction and light weight.
