I like the sleek appearance and I can tuck this between a wall and chair without sacrificing space, unlike something with a tradition shade. I love that I can adjust the color tones with or without the Dyson app. It has a plug at the base of the light to charge your phone. I haven’t used that yet, but I could see how it might come in handy. The base is heavy and it doesn’t feel like it will tip over very easily. When the light is in the ‘Closed’ position it makes a nice nightlight. I had hoped this might go on sale like the smaller Dyson desk lamp, but I had to pay full price. It’s pricey, but if you start pricing out a good quality lamp you’ll notice they are also expensive. And those don’t have all the fancy features that this does. This was an investment and I’m happy with it so far.

Two year warranty and no bulb can be replaced.

If the light goes out after the warranty period, you throw the light out. It better last longer than the two year warranty or this light is way over-priced.

Cool, but stopped working after two weeks

Then it started just turning itself off randomly. I tried to reach out to Dyson to get some tech support, but they were not helpful so I returned it.
