I was excited to try this because I struggle to straighten my hair. Not all straighteners work for me, and I liked the idea of less Hera damage. Luckily this didn't disappoint. It leaves my hair nice, it's not pinpoint straight as my current straightener, but it does a well enough job. I definitely don't feel or smell the burn in my hair. Cuts time to straighten by a lot as I can do it from wet to straight. But even the straightening time takes less.

I decided to wait to review this item. I have now had it for about 6 months. This is the greatest thing ever invented. It has cut my drying time by more than half and also includes styling. My hair feels healthier than ever and I am not having near the loss or breakage that I was with a traditional blow dryer and flat iron. Yes, it is a lot of money, but.... it is something you use almost every day. It works great on wet hair and helps tame my hair on the "no wash" days.

I was going to return this, then I used it. I have naturally curly hair and have a longstanding routine for straightening my hair--this includes washing, pulling it into a tight ponytail to let it dry as straight as I can, then using a flatiron to straighten the rest. NO MORE-- I can shower, use this combo dryer/straightener and be hair ready in less than 30 minutes. I receive multiple compliments when I use this. It is worth the extra money!

It works great and fast. My hair is really thick and usually takes over 20 minutes just to get it to a damp stage. Still too wet for the flat iron so usually I have to go do something and then use the flat iron because the heat burns the hair. This handles everything in one step and it only takes about 15 minutes to do my hair. I won't ever say that a hair tool this expensive is a deal/bargain, but it does exactly what it says it does.

It is a great product and I am loyal to Dyson. The only concern is getting to the root. It often does get the dry completely.

The dyson airstrait is one of the best straightener out there. Not only does it reduces heat damage but it also leaves your hair shiny and smooth after straightening and gives it volume. It gives your hair that natural straight look. You also do not get heat injury from it. I also like how you can use it with wet hair which reduces your time to get ready. I also love pink so this color is perfect for me.

I got Dyson airstrait a week ago and just love it! I used it on myself and my daughter. She has long wavy hair and it took me only 20 min to style it (her hair was a little wet). I have just styled my very wet hair again and it is very shiny now (and I didn’t use any products at all). It also took me around 20 min (I also have wavy long hair). I have an airwrap too, but love this one for my hair so much more. Highly recommend it!

Yes, it is pricey but you are paying for QUALITY. I have very thick hair that will get wavy in the back even if I blow dry/use a regular flat iron, but not with the Airstraight! It might be a bit on the heavy side, and I might sometimes overheat b/c I have so much hair but it is worth it b/c MY HAIR STAYS STRAIGHT FOR DAYS when I use the Airstrait!

I really can use it with dry or wet hair and the results are great either way. Definitely a must have!

I really love this product! My hair is curly (probably around a 3A) and I usually let it air dry because it takes a long time to dry using a dryer and I don’t have the patience. I was using heated brushes to straighten my hair, but I was having a lot of breakage despite trying lots of different products to strengthen and protect my hair. I finally decided that I was already spending so much money on products to fix my hair damage, I might as well instead try to prevent the damage. This thing is really amazing. I’m able to dry my hair pretty quickly and it’s straight within maybe 10 minutes from soaking wet. I usually keep it at 230F to minimize damage. It isn’t as sleek at this temperature, but still very soft and straight. I can go through it again at 285F if I want it really smooth. It also works really well on dry hair, which was surprising. The only downside is I have a hard time flipping it under or up at the ends. It’s usually just straight. This might be a learning curve, though. It’s a bit bigger than a regular flat iron, but I still find it pretty easy to use, just make sure you have it pointing the right direction (it blows downward to smooth your hair). Overall, I highly recommend it and think it’s well worth the price!

I love straight hair as most of us with naturally curly hair do. My hair damages easily regardless of the various protective products I’ve tried with traditional flat irons so I rarely flat iron my hair unless my hairdresser does it for me. This air straightener is exactly what I needed. I’m still learning how to work with it but I can tell my hair isn’t getting fried.
