I am not a super big fan of Dyson as far as their vacuums because they break and are not worth the money, but the hairdryer works great. It is a beautiful color and is definitely worth the money. It also comes with a great hard case to keep all the extensions and hairdryer in.

Not a Must for Super Curly Hair (3C/4A hair)

Whenever I have used the diffuser, it appears to make my hair more frizzy and dull. I also tested out a blowout, and my hair came out pretty well, but my arms were still tired from holding the dryer, so I don't feel like it's much lighter than the other dryers that I have used in the past. In other words, I have not found the dryer to be worth the considerable price tag for my curly type.

Conventional hair dryers often have large motors, and because of their size they have to be put in the head of the machine. As a result, they can be bulky, and they can blast air at extreme temperatures, all with the risk of hair being sucked into the filter and being trapped. This traditional hair dryer design has not advanced in more than 60 years. Dyson engineers set out to rethink this design. A hair dryer which uses a fast but focused airflow, the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer is engineered for balance in the hand. It intelligently controls the temperature to help protect hair from extreme heat damage.
With regard to your specific hair type, we have tested the Supersonic on multiple hair types. With regard to having your hair feel frizzy after use with the diffuser, you may wish to experiment with how much product you use, pre-style, as this can affect the hair texture with the use of the Supersonic. If I could change one thing it would be the chord. It is a bit heavy and tends to pull down.

Well, believe or not, if you can afford it, it's worth it. It comes with a very long (9 foot) heavy duty cord and 3 magnetic attachments. The first thing you notice is the feel. It has a soft matte finish which is very comfortable. It is well balanced in your hand and it never gets hot to the touch. It also is quiet and makes a sound which is much more pleasing to the ear than the typical hair blower makes. It has 3 speed and 3 heating controls all within easy reach of your thumb while operating the dryer.It also has a cold shot button located next to the power switch.All controls are very intuitively placed and can be operated without looking at the buttons. It is very powerful and blows tremendous volumes of air. Also, the temperature is checked and controlled 20 times per second. You will notice that once you set the temperature, it remains constant. Other hair blowers keep getting hotter the longer you use it. This results in damaged hair from the excessive heat. Your hair looks and feels better after using this dryer. It produces negative ions which reduces static in the hair. The air enters the unit on the bottom of the handle where the removable filter is located. This is located farther away from your hair than it is on other hair blowers. This results in less hair and dandruff clogging the air intake and affecting performance. If this was a product that was only occasionally used, I would not recommend it due to the price. But in my household, someone is using a hair blower almost every single day. So, if you consider the number of uses you will get from this, the cost is justified. I do recommend this and would buy it again..
