It’s lighter than my old babyliss blow dryer I have. I use it at the salon all the time. dries hair super fast and it’s very powerful. I love that it’s not as loud as a regular blow dryer as well.

I have extremely curly hair that frizzes easily. I have been using a cheap blow dryer for several years now, and always thought my hair was the problem. Since switching to the Dyson Super Sonic, my hair has been so much more manageable. I can straighten my hair once and go several days without even needing a touch-up, when before I would need to do touch-ups each morning. It also makes my hair look smooth, where before it would be obvious to most people that my hair is not naturally straight. Everyone who has use my blow dryer, like my mother-in-law who is visiting for the holidays, have fallen in love with it and want to get one for themselves!

I love this hair dryer! It’s the best hairdryer I’ve ever owned. I love the fact that it dries my hair without drying out my hair! The speed at which it dries cuts my normal drive time in half, which also helps in the not drying out of my hair! Love all things, Dyson !!!

The price is high, but it may be the last hair dryer you’ll ever need. The attachments are easy to swap in and out. Only con is you can’t buy a curling attachment with this model. Highly recommended if you have long thick hair

So I purchased this for my wife for Christmas. When she opened it, she screamed, she was so excited. Im a gadget guy, so Dyson products always interest me. I did wonder if it is hype though, it is triple the cost of an average high end hair dryer. It is no hype, this thing dries my wife's hair in 9 minutes. She has very thick long hair and drying it required 20+minutes typically. Not only does this dry her hair very fast, but it makes it look way better. The attachments are magnetic and work perfectly and i got a wall mount for this that looks awesome. Gentlemen, if you're reading this, just get it for your woman, she will love you.

I have super thick super long hair and normal hair dryers take me soo long to dry my hair, this will dry my hair in seconds! I cut soo much time and energy down because of this!

Watched tons of reviews and contemplated buying for many years, I had to pull the trigger and I don’t regret it. I love this new toy! I just wish the presentation box was wide enough to accommodate both the dryer and the attachments. For now, I am keeping the attachments inside of the presentation box and am on the hunt for a stand. Also, I was disappointed that this Special Edition Prussian Blue set does not include the paddle brush and detangling comb as shown on the Dyson website. For $429, it’s disappointing to not receive all of the items shown as a set. It comes with a diffuser, gentle diffuser, comb attachment, concentrator attachment, and flyaway attachment. The blue is a deep navy almost charcoaled navy.

My kids & wife been using it for last 3 weeks & it drys their hair really faster. One thing noticed is it's not an energy efficient product at all. It consume more power than your microwave when its runs in full fan speed with max heat.

I was skeptical about this hair dryer...I wondered what in the world can make it so great that it held such an exorbitant price tag. Then I tried it. Despite what some people may think, every hair dryer is not equal. This one ranks up there with the elite of hair dryers. It dries quickly without damaging the hair or making your strands feel dehydrated. I don't have a relaxer or any other chemical treatments so I rely on a good blowout and flat ironing session to offer me straight hair. The better the blowout the less heat I have to apply with a flat iron and the more likely I am able to go until my next wash before needing to use any additional heat. I had been happy with my previous hair dryer because it gave me good to slightly better results but after trying this one I realize that I wasn't getting as great of an experience as I thought. My dry time was cut down to half of what it normally takes and I was able to flat iron more quickly with only one pass per section (something I have never been able to do). My hair was softer than usual and not nearly as dry as it normally is after I do a blowout and flat ironing (dry as in my hair wasn't in desperate need of moisture restored). This dryer is a little lighter than any other dryer I've used and it's design definitely eliminated the arm fatigue I often experience. The attachments are easy to snap on and adjust thanks to the magnetic connection used. The ability to adjust the heat level and the airflow is great. I was surprised how powerful the airflow was on this dryer and was more surprised that I was able to use it on the lowest heat setting with medium airflow and still receive great results. The 9 ft cord is also appreciated. The 3 attachments included are great for almost any use needed although I would love for Dyson to offer a comb attachment in the future. It's not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have the option available. Overall I love how this dryer works. The only negative (and it's a big one) is the price point. It's an excellent hair dryer and well worth a premium price point...but I do think the pricing is above what most can and would want to pay for it. Ultimately it's something I would recommend to everyone that can get their hands on it and can afford the price. With it's 2 year warranty and the exceptional way that it performs it may very well be worth the investment. Especially if you usually go for cheap dryers but find yourself replacing them often. It's too soon to say how long this dryer can hold up but the reputation of Dyson along with the great warranty gives me hope that I won't be disappointed.
