I cannot say enough great stuff about this dryer. I have longer hair and it dries it very quickly without the heat damage I have experienced with other dryers. I am very pleased with the performance. I am also happy about the noise level- it is pretty quiet compared to other dryers. It is highly priced, yet in my opinion the quality is fantastic. Also, I love the long cord.

Quickly dries hair. My wife claims it saves her 10-15 minutes a day - making the time/value proposition more acceptable. Downside --- It seems that one of the thermistors in some of these units shuts the heating units down prematurely and does not reset. (Other reviews confirm this.) As a result, we had to return the original unit. Fortunately for us, it occurred with the return window, otherwise we'd have to ship iit back to Dyson and wait for a returned unit.

I picked this up for my wife because she's been complaining about her "cheap" hair dryer for a while now. We are big Dyson fans and have many of their products already. Much to my surprise, they make hair dryers and other hair accessory tools! It didn't take much research to learn this product is one of, if not, the best hairdryer you can get as a normal consumer. The quality of the materials to the smooth and quit(er) sound makes this worth the big price tag. I always judge value by not just the price, but how often you'll use it. And my wife uses it literally everytime her hair gets wet. Rain, shower, bath, swimming or whatever else. That means she uses it a lot. She tells me it takes a lot less time for her hair to dry with this versus her other dryers. It also feels less "hot" to her head and hair. This is a win for a husband. Yes, it's expensive, but we have to start looking at things as a value of use, rather than price.

This hair dryer is actually fantastic. It is easy to hold & & handle. The dryer does treat the hair with care in that it almost eliminates the dried out frizzed look. The attachments are an additional bonus however, I found only 1 has been advantageous. The stand keeps it at the ready and is so handy. The drawback is the price. But I guess after all, it is a Dyson.

I honestly like it it blows fast air and it’s very much more quieter than any other hair dryer I’ve owned.

This is hands down the best hair dryer you will ever own. I have thick curly hair, and it cut my drying time in half. It doesn’t get extremely hot, but the combination of heat and air flow is perfect! It does take a few times of using it to get used to it (seriously, it drys your hair so fast) but once you own a Dyson you will never be able to use another hair dryer.

I waited a long time to buy this blow dryer and I wish I brought it sooner! I primarily wear my hair in a wash and go and have only used the blow dryer with the diffuser. I brought this hair dryer for this being the main purpose of use. I also like that when I choose to flat iron my hair that I have the comb pick that won’t require me to be a professional beautician to use. I have thick curly hair and it takes forever to air dry. I love that the dryer can be used with or without heat and the diffuser snaps on and stays put. Low heat is more than enough heat and when holding the dryer I don’t feel like the dryer is heavy. I’m able to dry my hair and I dry most of my roots and can go out in cool or cold weather without the dreaded wet head. It dries my hair with no frizz and I feel like my style last longer. The blue dryer and case is gorgeous, however it will not fit the diffuser and dryer in the case. But I since the cord is a nice length I like knowing the dryer has a protected organized case that it stays in.

My wife is absolutely in love with this thing. My daughter was getting her hair done for prom and the lady was using the supersonic. They were so impressed. I surprised her with one for Mothers day. She uses it every day.

My first Dyson hair purchase and couldn’t be happier. It dries my long thick hair super fast and makes them shiny.

Attachments are held by a magnet in the hair dryer. This is probably the king of all hairdryers. Performance wise, it does the job really great. Theres a filter at the bottom that needs to be cleaned once in a while. It’s at the area where the cord connects to the unit.

Worth the money - quieter than most hair dryers, dries hair quickly

I love Dyson products! I was very hesitant to buy this because of the price but it's worth it. It saves me a lot of time getting ready in the morning for work. I have long straight hair and it literally dries my hair in less than 5 minutes! I highly recommend.

I’m 2 years into owning this dryer and it still works fantastic. Great weight in the hand, efficiently dries, it’s motor is tuned to create frequencies that actually sound quiet compared to other dryers. Awesome color combo (nickel/purple).

Excellent! Powerful and almost doesn't make any noise.

Never would have I have imagined paying for a hair dryer like this but I have tow ladies in my house and they are blown away... no pun intended. The quick drying time, the thorough drying ability and the accessories allow them to style their hair several different ways all with one tool. Believe the hype!! Get it on sale and feel better about your purchase! You won't be disappointed!
