This hair dryer is very good. It does dry my hair fast, and the tools seem fine. I have curly hair and blow my hair straight, my daughter has wavy hair and uses the diffuser to put bounce and curls in it and it works for her as well as it works for me. I won this exact hair dryer in a raffle for a charity and my co-workers all raved and were so excited that I had won this "amazing" hair dryer. One year later board members for the library foundation I sit on were asked to provide raffle baskets for the annual gala so I put together a hair basket, seeing how popular the item was. Overall, it does the job, it does it quickly and I did luck out in winning the item for me first, and it was a good raffle item, but not as popular as I would have hoped. And...if I would have to buy a hair dryer for me, I would not spend close to $500 on one. It is not extraordinary nor does it do things another less expensive one would do. You also have to practice ALOT to get use to using the tools.

I love how lightweight this blow dryer is. It is very compact but has a lot of power. You can feel the force of the air as you dry your hair but you are better able to control the air flow with the attachments. It is also not as hot as traditional blow dryers frying your hair.

I splurged and bought this for myself after my 10 year old blow dryer finally kicked the bucket and i found out decent replacements were like $150 and up. Figured I could justify the expense broken down over so many years of use. My expectations were that it would be lighter, quieter and maybe even quicker. I am blown away by this thing. No pun intended but oh my goodness. My hair feels so soft after getting done. No dried out feeling at all! Usually i would love my hair on the 2nd day after a blowout but now it’s immediately amazing. I definitely thought that the flyaway attachment information about the Coanda effect was just a fancy sounding sales pitch. Except i still don’t know what it is technically, i just know i have hair that is the healthiest it has probably ever looked. I am amazed by this blow dryer and am SO very happy I spent the extra money. Now to see how long it will last me.

In the beginning I thought it was madness to pay this amount on a hairdryer. I have a Best Buy card and paying it off easily with 12 months no interest helped me pull the trigger. Fast blow out, healthy hair results, and easy to use! Do yourself a favor get one. Nothing else can compare to this from previous dryers used in past.

Wife says it’s the best hairdryer ever. They don’t go on sale often so I grabbed one for Christmas. She had been eyeing this for a while and was super happy to get one. She says that it works really well - and faster than any hair dryer she has ever used. Doesn’t over heat her hair too. And is very light. I can say it takes her about 5 mins less to get ready now, which is meaningful at times.

I have never been able to blow dry my hair. No blow dryer has actually gotten my hair 100% dry. Some of the previous blow dryers I have used have gotten my hair somewhat dry after nearly 30 minutes, but my hair also always ended up a frizzy bushy mess. This blow dryer completely dries my hair in less than 20 minutes and leaves my hair sleek and straight. I don’t regret this purchase at all.

Cuts my frying time time and reduces frizz. Blow dryer is light and pretty quiet.

Love this hair drier. I have thin hair in general and this hair dryer gets my hair dry fast. It's quieter than the traditional low-cost hair driers, it doesn't overheat and is better for my hair. I'm on the fence as far as the other Dyson hair products, but love love this hair dryer!

Awesome product! Got this from my wife and she absolutely loves it. She has been through many hairdryers in her lifetime and says this is by far the best one she has ever had. She appreciates it ease of use and high-quality when it comes to doing the job. It does hit the wallet a little heavy though.

I love my blow dryer, dry fast and make the hair smooth, I am a hairdresser for the last 25 years,, I did use other dryer but the Dyson a blow dryer it’s the best one all of all, I give this blow dryer hundred percent I really recommend this Dyson blow dryer to all the women to have healthy and beautiful hair.

Amazing product. Dries the hair super fast. The attachments are very functional and do exactly what they’re meant to. Love the C shaped attachment for setting waving hair. It truly straightens wavy hair and reduces frizz.

I love this hair dryer. My hair dries quickly and I get a great blow out and style. I was a little hesitant after some of the previous reviews but I think these reviews were really harsh and could be chalked up to user error or early models. I have not had any voltage or power issues after 2 months. As far as the heat causing hair drying or heat damage, well there are multiple heat and speed settings. Yes, the highest heat setting gets pretty hot. If you were to use this setting all the time you could damage your hair! Not all dryers get this hot so I could see why people think you need to use the highest heat setting because that is what they had to do for cheaper or older brands. I use the lower setting and have had no issues. Also, some people said their hair got straw like after using leave in conditioner. I have not had these issues, but I use a good brand, Kevin Murphy and a heat protectant product. I also noticed it is a lot easier to hold the dryer closer to the hair because of the small design and light weight. At a high heat holding a dryer this close could cause damage if you are not paying attention. I love the magnetic attachments. Easy on easy off and rotatable depending on how you hold the dryer. There were also some reviews about holding the dryer on the air intake area. I did this the first two uses but after I noticed I was doing this I adjusted my grip higher on the handle and found the dryer to actually be more balanced in my hand.

I love every aspect of this hair dryer, except for the price. The hair dryer is light and and easy to move around. Surprisingly quiet for a hair dryer, as well. The cord is a bit ridiculous it is the standard Dyson cord they have on their vacuums, except with a ground fault on the end. Could be at least $100 cheaper, though...

I purchased this hair dryer for my spouse and she absolutely loves it. I have purchased a couple for her and honestly I never saw a difference between hair dryers, they were all the same. This one is light, easy to use, and dries the hair in an instant. I use it to dry my daughters hair too. I love it myself :)

I have a LOT of hair and long to waist. I purchased Dyson hair dryer to match Dyson Corrale iron. Very quiet, light weight. I use cool air on medium or high, hair dries in 10-15 minutes. Have not noticed any damaged/split ends. Previous hair dryer BabyBliss, normally took 30+ minutes on high heat, that caused damaged ends.

Performance: very good. Design: neat and stylish. Weight: really heavy compared with others. Very expensive. I think a just price should be 200 or 250 tops, considering quality vs cost. This product is not for everyone. My wife loves it and use This daily... and she wrote This. Anyhow it is great but clearly overpriced

Just like every Dyson product I have purchased previously this one works amazingly well. It is very overpriced.

Such a fantastic blow dryer, the speed is amazing and it doesn’t leave my hair frizzy. I have a lot of thick hair and it takes less time than any other blow dryer to dry my hair. My hair always blows out really nice!
