This was purchased as a gift for my wife. Actually, when the complete Dyson Hair Care system would not work for her because her hair is short and fine, this was what she wanted instead. The "Rollers" on the complete Hair Care system were just too large to use in her hair, but she loves this hair dryer. It appears to be much quieter than other hair dryers, head quickly, blows plant of warm air to dry hair quickly, and due to the design, takes up a lot less room in storage than other more traditional hair driers which are generally in the shape of a gun. My only negative comment about this, is that it is an expensive personal hair dryer. But she uses it every day, is very happy with it, and that makes it worth the price!

Expensive, but good. Owned for 4 months now, very quiet operations. Important if you 'other' sleeps in the next room while YOU get ready for your day. Good air volume, heat is about just right. I like it!

I bought this dryer to replace my broken T3. I do love it. My favorite things are the magnetic attachment how easy to use them. No more pulling and tugging to try and get the ends off. It is really quite also and dries my hair in half the time . I would suggest using it on medium or low especially if you have fine hair like me because it does get VERY hot. The only con so far is that the controls are on the opposite side of the handle than all other dryers I have ever owned. They are on the front of the dryer. So if changing speed or temp. I have to turn the dryer around and look at it. Turning it off and on also but after using it awhile I am sure I will get use to turning it off and on differently than I am use to. If you are a hair dresser the controls I'm sure would be perfect using it someone else. This one thing would not keep me from buying the dryer because everything else is great.

The quality, the speed of how the hair dry and the time it saved, is beyond description, one of the best invention and investment. Highly recommended.

My Dyson hair dryer cuts my hair drying time drastically. It's quiet, light, and easy to handle. I have curly hair and drying it with the Dyson means little or no frizz. I give it a big thumbs up!

One word: WOW! I hate drying my hair but this little gem has been amazing to use. It’s light and dries my long hair in about 5-6 minutes instead of 8-10. This, and the fact that it leaves my hair so so straight and smooth is a total game changer! If you’re on the fence about this and something else, GET THE DYSON.

I got this hair dryer for my fiancé after reading several tech article reviews. Lives up to the performance, and is saving her at least 10 minutes every single morning in prep time - it adds up. Most detractors point to the balance or cord...the balance took less than a week to adapt to, and let’s be honest, until it’s cordless, cords are annoying on any hair dryer. Strongly recommend

Love this it styles so many different ways and is easy to use! You should try it it’s unlike anything else and it doesn’t pull or damage your hair like a hair dryer or flat iron

Got this for my wife's Christmas present. A little pricey, but she loves it! She has long thick hair and she loves that it's light, quiet, and dries her hair faster without drying it out and making it frizzy like the cheaper ones do.

Its pricey yes but wife loves it. For a woman who has super thick hair it shortens drying time by half.

The attachments that come with this makes styling fast! Operation isn't as loud as cheaper dryers and is a very enjoyable experience .

I have been wanting the Dyson since it came out but was hesitant given the steep price. I finally bought it as a birthday gift to myself and I love it! I can see now what all the hype was about. I usually wear my hair naturally wavy most of the time and the diffuser is amazing. I used to use a generic one size fits all diffuser and what a difference this new Dyson makes. The air is very focused so I don’t overheat with hot air blowing all over my face. I can use the lowest heat setting and still finish drying my hair faster than the time it used to take me. I would definitely recommend!!

I love this hair dryer! I have long wavy hair and I just put product in it wet, sleep and walk out the door. Blow drying my hair straight used to take 45 min to the root. With this hair dryer (no joke!) My hair is dry in 15 minutes flat, I can go to bed, roll when I get up or straighten. Highly recommend, it's worth the price and super light compared to other hair dryers.

I have textured curly Hispanic hair, not necessarily thick but can be very frizzy curly or straight. This super blow dryer is amazing. Huge difference in power that effectS how my hair dries. I love the results. However you still need to know how to blow dry. If you don’t know how to blow dry, a $400 blow dryer is not going to make you better lol. How does it work...magic The heat capability on this small hand held devices is pretty powerful. I love that this special edition provides me a special brunch and comb of good quality. They also make a huge difference. It has additional pieces to alter air flow. It dries your hair faster which cuts down frizz tremendously. I wish it was not so expensive.
