I think that the Dyson hair dryer is expensive compared to other dryers but you get what you pay for. The dyson hair dryer does leave your hair in better condition than others I’ve used. I thought it was very powerful and appreciated how leveled in weight it was compared to others. If you can splurge on this dryer I would do it because I love the way it left my hair, how light it felt while I used it, the accessories included and the sound was not as disturbing and loud as other dryers I’ve used.

This hair dryer really blows, literally. Hair dries very fast. Without any attachments it blows stronger than any hair dryer I’ve ever had. We use the smoothing nozzle the most and it still has a strong flow. The styling concentrator it is halfway between the smoothing nozzle and no attachment. Cleaning the filter is very easy. It is expensive, but we decided to treat ourselves this time. You can go through a lifetime of blow dryers for the cost on this one alone. Overall, the dryer feels very solid. It dries our hair faster than any hair dryer We’ve ever had, I’d say well under 2 minutes with medium (not shoulder) length hair for my wife who styles a bit. For me, it takes less than a minute, normal men’s cut no special styling (right now it’s about 4 inches long on the sides and 5 inches long on top) after a haircut, maybe 30 seconds tops. The cord is plenty long and is round, not flat, so it doesn’t get those weird curls in the cord. The dryer is comfortable to hold. The design is easier to maneuver than the longer pistol barrel shaped dryers so you can get it really close to your head. It generates plenty of heat at the middle and highest settings. We have it set at the middle setting which is plenty for normal drying. There are a few issues. It is a bit heavy. Easily the heaviest hair dryer we’ve ever had. The filter in the lower handle isn’t ideal. When I just grab the dryer, my hand just naturally covers part of the filter and I have to adjust my hand (move it up) accordingly. My wife doesn’t have this problem with her smaller hands. The on/off switch is small and not really easy to use with one hand. I normally have to use my other hand to turn it on or off. Only two real improvements needed. Wish it was a bit lighter in weight and had a larger on/off switch. Do we regret the purchase? No, definitely not. I believe we got what we paid for and believe it will last until we decide to replace it, not because of any failure. It was a luxury purchase and it does the job better than any blow dryer we’ve had it the past. Value wise, I’d say it is a bit overpriced, but I believe it is the best blow dryer available.

Best blow dryer I have ever owned. It’s worth the price and even more with the sale. My curls diffuse beautifully:) I can also use the different attachment to straighten my hair. The heat settings vary between 3 heat temps and a cool setting. My hair dries in half the time. Very easy to clean the filter. I can’t complain about my purchase.

Highly recommend. Cuts drying time and leaves hair healthy compared to most other dryers. Very expensive but an excellent long term investment.

Fast, light and powerful. Much quieter than cheap blow driers. Takes some time to adjust from a normal drier with a barrel.

This is a great blow dryer however, I think it may be a little overpriced…because at the end of the day it’s just a blow dryer. It’s built well and it’s really quiet which is what I like but they should really drop the price here.

Best hair dryer ever! Worth it. Every detail is 5 star -- beautiful packaging, lightweight to use, love how the attachments click on with a magnetic click, dries fast and leaves my hair smooth, soft and shiny. Even better, it stays that way for 4 days and more--even after sleeping on it or working out with my hair in a ponytail. (I also purchased the Dyson flat iron -- also 5 star -- and use it for touch up a day or so after washing my hair, so that may also add to how long the style lasts).

No fun intended but dryer is fantastic, powerful and quiet. Many attachments make it suitable to everyone in the family.

You truly get what you paid for with this incredible hair dryer. I have thick, mid back length hair, and it would take forever to dry it with a conventional dryer. After 2 girlfriends said they couldn't live without their Dyson dryers, I decided to make the move. After the first use when it dried my hair in just minutes, I realized it was more than worth the high price. No more tired arms - it's very. lightweight. And it doesn't make a loud noise that the old fashion ones. You won't be sorry if you purchase it.

This is by far the best hair dryer we ever had. It has lots of air, noise seems lower as the noise frequency is higher and the noise itself seems lower. Heats extremely well and you don’t have to worry about your hair being pulled on the top since it is so small, all the air intake is from the bottom. It is light and much easier to do left / right motion as the wait is distributed across the product, not all on the top. We are also under the impression that we can dry our hair faster. Expensive, but worth the money.
