I thought long and hard before purchase due to the cost. Decided to treat myself and I couldn't be happier. This Dyson hair dryer is easy to handle. It gets hot but doesn't burn your hair. You can hold the attachments right on your hair without worry. No more frizz. My hair is fine and thick and feels really soft after drying. I can tell after using this dryer for several weeks that my hair is healthier. I'm not sure it's any faster than my old dryer, but I don't care because my hair is so much softer and shines. No regrets here.

This is hands down the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. It’s so lightweight and easy to maneuver. It dried my curly hair in 15 minutes instead of the 45-60 minutes it used to take with my old dryer, and with way less frizz! It’s obviously pricy, but I have no regrets. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer for my wife. I asked what makes it so great. She said it has more power than any other hair dryer she has ever used. She also said that it makes it easy to style with.

I love this blow dryer. Way more quiet then a normal blow dryer. Easy to hold on to and drys hair way more faster. Plus my hair feels alot smoother using it. The only downfall is the price. I still can't believe I paid that much but it's a Dyson and I love modern technology. Overall I am happy

All I can say is I cannot believe I didn't buy it sooner. It is so expensive which is why I didn't but so glad I did when it was on sale. Being a former hairdresser I have used so many blow dryers and really coukdn't imagine one being that much better to warrant the price. This truly is amazing.

The Dyson blow dryer is the best there is!! I’m a hair stylist for over 30 years and I’ll never buy anything else. It’s light but powerful and runs on a motor and not a heating element which gives you even heat all the time.

Absolutely love my Dyson! Dries my hair fairly fast. Even though my hair is short this Dyson is lightweight and quick is better for me. Very quiet compared to my old dryer and love the magnetic attachments. Sometimes I wish it had a lower speed but overall very happy with it. I've been waiting a long time and finally made the purchase to buy. I have no regrets!

I figured we would see hair health improvements over the course of a few months of using this blow dryer since it’s supposed to be safer for hair compared to other dryers. We noticed an instant difference in hair shine and smoothness after the first use. It’s also light in the hand and has lots of useful attachments.

I wanted to not like this dryer because of the hefty price tag but it is by far the best hair dryer I've ever used. Dry time is faster but for me most importantly my frizzy hair is no more - it's smooth and silky after each drying. I haven't used the diffuser attachment so I can't speak to that but the other attachments are great. Just do it - buy it...

I bought this for my girlfriend and everytime she uses it she tells me how great it is and how much faster it dries her with no damage, she also states it makes her hair feel softer.

This hair dryer is best as well as the most expensive. However, its truly phenomenal when it comes to quiet sound, heat/cool and styling tools. We even use it to dry our golden retriever.

I wanted this hair dryer for YEARS and let me tell you it was all worth it. I finally took the dive into purchasing such an expensive hair dryer and I have to say it is worth every penny. This is the lightest and most powerful hair dryer I’ve ever seen, all while being so incredibly quiet. Comes with multiple attachments, a holding strap and silicone mat to place it on. The best part in my opinion is the extremely long cord. At first I was like “this isn’t necessary to have this cord be this long.” But I quickly changed my opinion on it. I can blow dry my hair on my bed while it’s plugged into my vanity mirror! LOVE THAT! All in all though this is a great purchase and it’s easy to clean with the easy detachable filter. Highly recommend this product. Might feel like a bite to your wallet for a bit (depending on your tax bracket) but it is all worth it isn’t he end. Your hair will be dry before you can even finish reading my review! BOOM! .Xx

I was excited to hear my husband had bought this through Best Buy. It has been exceptionally good. Dries my hair quickly and the attachments are excellent!! I highly recommend this Dyson hair dryer!!

Compared to every other blow dryer on the market, this one drys my hair the fastest and I end with a smooth/non-frizzy end product and I love how the hair dryer is not super loud and the heat does not get overly hot

Me and my daughter absolutely love our Dyson. I use it to blow out my hair and my daughter uses the diffuser setting for her curls. It’s very quick, and versatile (many different attachments )

This fan was a gift for my wife. After one year of use, the fan started shutting down after 15–30 seconds. I contacted Dyson support and sent the fan to them. After a few weeks, we received a new supersonic model, which is better and has some new features.

I love this dryer. It’s fast and very light. What used to take over 30 mins to dry my hair now takes 10-15 mins. By far the best dryer I’ve owned yet. I am a stylist and use it at the salon and it works beautifully in the job setting.

I have used a Solano professional dryer for the last 25 years and when the motor died I didn’t have a back-up dryer handy I had to scramble. It takes Solano repairs about 10 days to repair & return dryers when you send them to their repair facility and I had to get something locally. I had read the Dyson reviews when it first came out and they were inconsistent - many people were “reviewing” the retail price vs the performance but when they only offered the fuschia color I wasn’t particularly interested in it. When I started researching I saw that Dyson has a colorway that was primarily white I decided to try it and I planned on exchanging it if I wasn’t thrilled with the results. $400 is a lot for a hair dryer but saving 5-7 minutes a day in drying time is worth that to me. I have straight fine hair that is very thick and with the Solano it took ~ 15 minutes to get my hair 85% dry. I can get my hair 90% dry in ~ 8 minutes with the Dyson. That works out to ~ 36 hours a year if I use it 6x week. That is so worth it to me. My hair doesn’t look much different but because I’m shaving 5-7 minutes of my drying time I am much less rushed in the morning which makes for a great start to the day. If you don’t mind spending time drying your hair then it may seem frivolous to spend $400 on a hair dryer and I don’t think this is a good value for you but I really love it and I was skeptical.
