I guess it depends on your hair type. For fragile, thin hair, this might not be so great as it dries to quickly and does not leave enough time to shape hair. This might be great for thick hair, but since I have thin hair, I can only speak on that

First, the filter at the bottom always comes undone. Bad design on Dyson's part. Second, does the cord need to be 8 feet long with a Brick in the middle of it? Couldn't they have just incorporated that into the plug? If you're looking to buy one, first check it out in person and see if it works for you. Wish I had done that and saved $400.
