I used it twice and both times it burn and frizz my hair. I tried lower the heat settings but it just gives me nots on my hair. I end up returning it. It’s a very fancy and pricy hair blow dryer but it didn’t work with my hair type.

Three blinking red lights. The blink of death. Hopefully we just got a lemon. Going to try one more time and that will be the end of it.

If the filter is clogged or the air intake is covered, such as by your hand, during use, this will cause the machine to shut off to prevent over heating.

Kept over heating

Read the operating manual and pulled it out of box. Overheated 3 times and did not turn back on. Horrible product for 400.00 I have used much less expensive dryers that performed much better.

Just stopped working and of course the warranty is only good for (2) years. As expensive as this was it should have lasted much longer. Very disappointed.

Doesn’t really last as long as it should.

Although it is vey nice, there is nothing but the name to justify the price, in fact, I wanted to return it. I do believe there are some design flaws. The controls are on the front so you have to have the dryer facing you to change the controls. Just no worth $399.00.

The buttons on the hair dyer, like most are located on the back of the hair dryer and can be easily accessed with your thumb when held towards the top of the handle, where it provides the best balance due to the motor being built into the handle.

I hate drying my hair because it feels like it takes FOREVER, especially since a traditional hair dryer is so bulky and heavy. Here comes the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. I was so intrigued by it because I mean, Dyson made a beauty tool? HOLD UP, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. You mean, the company that makes vacuums and air purifiers is entering the beauty industry? I love small appliances and with a brand that's innovative with their products, I knew I needed to try it. I was so happy with it my first use, my dry time was cut in half, my arm wasn't sore at the end (due to the center of gravity being placed in the handle), and my hair wasn't as frizzy! After using this product over the course of a year, I can say my hair is a lot healthier and manageable. 10/10 WOULD BUY AGAIN

There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

BEST PURCHASE EVER MADE

The new Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer is without a doubt the best of the best. I used it myself after washing my hair and I cannot believe the results. My hair has so much less frizz that I don't even have to use a flat iron to style, it looks so smooth and dried in 5 minutes as opposed to 20-30 minutes. Oh and the light weight of it saves my arm and shoulder from the pain that comes with drying your hair! It is expensive but like I said the results speak for itself and is so very much worth the money. I will certainly get my money's worth out of it. Highly recommend and this is coming from a professional hair stylist!!
