It's so light and quiet and my hair is completely dry in 5 min!!! My hair is soft shiny and smooth!!! Cant believe I can get that from just a hair dryer. Was super skeptical about spending that much money on that but it's so worth it!

This blow dryer is undeniably powerful, while being surprisingly quieter than nearly any other blow dryer I've encountered. It's also incredibly well balanced since the motor is inside the handle instead of in the top of the unit. For my girlfriend, this dryer doesn't work great, however. None of the three attachments included worked well with her LONG hair because they were either too powerful and caused her hair to tangle, or not powerful enough to dry her hair. For others with normal length hair, this dryer might be amazing. Just not in her case.

If the filter is clogged or the air intake is covered, such as by your hand, during use, this will cause the machine to shut off to prevent over heating.

It burned the robe I was wearing, and also the rug when I threw it on the floor. Totally scary situation!! I was scared to blow dry my hair for a couple of weeks. Needless to say, I needed to buy a dryer, and researched for a while. I have short wavy/curly hair that can get frizzy. The first time that I used this dryer with the ez attachable styling attachment-my hair was smoother, shinier and no frizz at all. The drying time was cut in half! My hubby loves it too- although he’s not to impressed with the pink- Lol. His hair looks fuller and shinier. Yes it’s expensive- but worth it! Buy the extra insurance warranty from BB too. You may just need it.

I was tired of taking so much time drying my hair with a traditional hair dryer and replacing my units several times a year. I have very long hair, about 3/4 of the way down my back. Traditional hair dryers take me about 30 minutes or more. This hair dryer takes me about 5-8 minutes. I also have severe arthritis, so taking attachments off of traditional hair dryers is very difficult. With the Dyson, the attachments are held on by a secure magnet, but not too strong that I can't pull them off. People look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them I have a $400 hairdryer, but my hair has never been healthier or silkier! 15/10 would recommend over and over again!

This thing feels unlike no dryer I've ever tried before. It's amazingly balanced and precise with airflow and heat control. I don't really use hair dryers that much but my wife does and hopefully I can get her feedback soon and update or write another review.
