    Poor quality for an expensive hair dryer!!

    Bought this Dyson Supersonic hair dryer in 2018 and in barely three years , the motor stopped functioning. I do not use the hair dryer everyday and maybe use it 2-3 times a week! Took it to the Dyson Repair center and noticed two other customers in line with similar issues with the hair dryer. Techniciann said that it could not be repaired as they have no parts for it. He suggested buying another one!

    Expensive junk. No support

    It's great at first, but I guarantee it will die on you. Mine died right after warranty ended. Do some research and you'll see there are a lot of design flaws to this machine. It's not worth the money for a hunk of plastic that turns into a paper weight. Customer service informed me that my only option was to pay to have it repaired. Yay...

    Blows Hair Everywhere

    I was so excited for this, but it just doesn’t work for my hair type. I have fine hair & on low it just blew all my hair all over & tangled it terribly. I even tried the attachments, but it didn’t help. Low is too high, but then the high is too low when wanting high!! Just didn’t work for me.

      Hello Jenn, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you found the Dyson Supersonic didn't work well with your hair type. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair.  When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

    New did not power on.

    Did not turn on brand new. Dyson customer service sent me in circles to decipher the issue ask the same questions over and over. Now it’s going to take a month to replace. Save the box for a bit, it will definitely break or not work.

    Horrible product. Don’t waste your money.

    I have nothing good to say about this product. The dry time takes just as long as other dryers, the cord is bulky which makes it hard to store, and you have to clean the filter every week. I get frustrated every time I use it.

    It works great until the day it no longer turns on. The protection plan for the Dyson is very expensive for a reason, they know it will fail!
