I have owned several Dyson Cordless Vacuums, and while I always felt they were a superior cordless option, they were still cordless and their performance should be put in perspective and not overstated. They are nice and convenient, but not a primary vacuum and unless they are on a good sale, they are typically overpriced. The V11 is the first "upgraded" cordless Dyson I have and it is a huge improvement over my V8. The battery life alone is worth the upgrade, as I'm getting almost triple the use on a single charge. And the general design feels better and functions better. The removal battery is an excellent decision by Dyson. The dirt container holds more and I feel is better to empty. And the 3 levels of power (vs the 2 on the V8) are a big improvement all around. For me, THIS is the Dyson cordless I have been waiting for. Especially if you catch it on sale, this V11 is totally worth the purchase. A final note -- a family member has the V15 with the "detect" feature which had me curious. All it is is a laser beam that allows you to see the dirt and dust as the vacuum head approaches. Same as if you take a laser pointer and lay it on the ground with the beam parallel to the floor. It does not increase the performance of the vacuum itself, so for me the V11 is a better buy.

Love the V11 Plus for keeping my condo clean! I have a golden retriever who sheds year round and cheaper vaccums werent werent cutting it. This dyson comes with multiple attachments as well, making it a great vaccum for the truck too!

Such an easy and powerful vacuum. Light weight and just battery life to get my carpet done. Also transfers to flooring easily.

Using this Dyson Vacuum for the first time was a pleasant surprise. It is the most expensive vacuum we ever bought, but it is worth the cost and more. We can vacuum our 3BR home hard wood floors 2x with one charge in ECO mode. It thoroughly picks up dust, fur, undercoat fur, cat fur, and everything else not glued to the floor. Boost Mode can suck the soul out of a person. I used the soft brushing implement to clean inside my computer case and it now looks like new. The Pet Groomer appliance is also great and the dog loves it, although our cats do not. Did I mention it is quiet in ECO Mode? You can vacuum while others tik-tok without moaning and groaning from them. Beware the cannister fills fast if you live in a high critter traffic abode like ours, but dumping the yuck is easy, fast and neat.

Upgraded to this vacuum after using an awful V7 Animal. The previous vacuum was very unreliable and would hardly make it through the house without dying, not to mention the canister size was tiny. This V11 Plus cordless puts any smaller handheld to shame. We make it through our house and barely see any change in the charge indicator. The "power" is always set to normal, as it is plenty for what we need. Sometimes we'll switch it to the high setting when vacuuming the couch or mattress. If you're thinking about getting this, wait for a sale, buy it and never look back!

Wow, what a great vacuum. Sucks up dirt, dust and whatever else that gets in the way. I have wood floors and tile and was impressed on the suction of cleaning the dust off the wood floors and no scratches left behind. Normally I use a swifter mop and with this I do not need it. Love the fact of not having a cord. The floor head moves around very easily in different directions and under furniture. Cleaning and releasing the particles is so easy and practical.

I recently upgraded from the Dyson V7 to the Dyson V11, and WOW — I’m blown away! I thought my house was already clean after using my V7. I had vacuumed thoroughly, and everything looked spotless. But when I opened up the Dyson V11 and vacuumed the same areas again, I was amazed (and a little horrified) to see how much more it picked up — dirt, dust, and debris that I couldn’t even see! The Dyson V11 Plus cordless vacuum is incredible! It is easy to use, light weight and powerful. My daughter enjoyed using it so much she went and bought herself one for her house.

I already tell everyone they need a dyson and this one is perfect. It was a great price point and helps me keeps my floors clean. I have two dogs and this dyson is a life saver!

This vacuum sucks.. but in a good way. Battery lasts so much longer than our older V7. The suction power is much better. It isgetting more dirt with less effort.
