This is our second Dyson vacuum, out first "animal" floor vacuum is about 10 years old and on it's last leg. We wanted a cordless stick version due to lightweight and ease to use for stairs. We were a little sticker shocked but decided to for it anyway. Let me tell you, we are delighted with this thing and how well it cleans. The suction is amazing and the battery life lasts long enough to clean our entire house (3300 square feet). It is an amazing piece of technology.

I absolutely love this vaccine! It is light weight and gets the job done on the carpet and vinyl plank flooring.

This one has effectively replaced our upright vacuum. Ridiculous suction, crazy battery life. 1400 square feet of living space (mixed medium pile carpet and hardwood)....whole house with battery left. This thing changes modes automatic as your floor type / conditions change, but you can override that at any time of you thing you need maximum suction on your tile floors or something. Quite a variety of attachments as well. I do wish it had a soft brush roller though.

The Dyson V-6 that had worked perfectly for us for many years finally died. After reading extensive reviews we decided to purchase the Dyson V-11 stick vacuum. It is awesome! Battery life is much longer than the V-6, suction is great and it is much easier to empty than the V-6. The only negative comment I have is that it is a little heavier to use. Overall, it is a fabulous vacuum! Dyson vacuums are absolutely the BEST!!

The V11 is light and easy to grab to just do quick "pick-up" jobs. Likewise it automatically switches to heavy duty when the rug (or whatever) becomes thinker and harder to clean. It is quickly and easily switched between a floor task to a hand task. -- DOWNSIDE is that being battery charged, it is not suited for a "whole house" cleaning at one time (without recharging) but lasts long enouigh to clean a couple of rooms before needing to be recharged. -- The filter needs to be cleaned after only a few uses.

Very powerful, easy to use and great quality. I have the V10 too and like it so much I decided to get this one for the floor of our home that has both rugs and hard surface and keep the V10 for the downstairs. This one is even more powerful and you don't have to change the heads between different surfaces. You can easily see how much time you have left on the charge with the display as well.

Best purchase I've made in a long time. I actually want to vac more now. So convenient and easy to move around the house. Lightweight and no cord to deal with. So easy to get up under furniture. Can vac entire house with time left over on charge. Easy to empty canister and change out heads. You want be disappointed.

Really enjoying the upgrade from the Absolute version. Love that the vacuum automatically adjusts the suction power when changing from the different floor types. Works well over rugs. The difference in weight between this version and the Absolute is not a lot. It was really easy to hang on my wall and I bought the extensions so I can plug in all the accessories so I don’t lose them. It is pricey though

Really nice suction & easy to use- but our tank seal broke & they don’t have a replacement- if it was still under warranty it’s be cool cuz the dyson warranty is legit

The Dyson-V11 really works great. Light weight and really picks up the pet hair. I can use my $3000 vacuum and then use the Dyson over the same spot and low and behold, it picks up more. The only downside too it is the storage unit does not hold that much and your constantly have to empty it. It's the best buy we ever completed. Highly recommend this to all. Especially if you have pets and stairs.

I hate the super long cords on vacuums, so I don’t vacuum near as often as I should, nor do I go to the trouble of getting in all the nooks and crannies. I also didn’t want to spend this much money! So I made the decision to get the best portable I could buy, which was also the most expensive. Best decision I ever made. Suction is nothing short of amazing and the battery life is great. Very light and easy to get everywhere! Super easy to empty.

The Dyson V11 Torque Drive Cord-Free Vacuum is the "Cadillac" of cordless vacuums. This vacuum is easy to handle, and conveniently reaches into a variety of places a normal vacuum would struggle with. The charge easily lasts for a long time. Suction of the V11 is quite powerful. I enjoyed the corded Dyson vacuum that I used before this...but now switching to the Dyson V11 cordless gets the job done easier and faster.

I absolutely love this vacuum. Best I ever had and I love how it switches suction on different surfaces. Vacuuming has never been this easy. It is light weight and is great every where. From the carpet, floors, cars, dusting, stairs, and getting cobwebs in high corners. I can never see myself go with another type of vacuum other than a Dyson Stick Vacuum. It is expensive but for me I feel it is worth it.

Takes the anguish out of vacuuming. Portability and ease of use are far beyond any previous vacuum cleaner I’ve owned. It has excellent suction and allows spot vacuuming for a few weeks on a single charge. The unit can be a bit irritating to the hand with extended use, but that’s easily remedied. This thing has completely eliminated the need for a huge, cumbersome canister or other bulky vacuum cleaner.

This is my 3rd Dyson Vac and this is the best one yet, more power easier to use - the discharge methodology is takes a little to get used to but it actually is easy once you get used to the change. Loads of suction and I haven't run out of power yet - which is better then my other earlier model Dyson's. Cleans every surface and having a couple of frequently used tools with it all the time is a handy extra feature.

This Vacuum cleaner is expensive, but it is worth every penny. It is easy to use and versatile. I could not believe the amount it picked up from a runner that we had just vacuumed with our old (but respectable) vacuum cleaner the day before. We had to clean out the dust reservoir after just a few minutes of cleaning! It has a lot of room in that reservoir, too. Very powerful. Very light. Good reach and easy to maneuver.

Vacuum is awesome. The best feature is that the suction will automatically change when going from carpet to wood floor. The display is nice as it gives you an estimated runtime and can manually change the vacuum speed. The battery holds up... have more than enough to vacuum the whole house. It is on the pricier side, but the additional features I think are worth it.

I hate to not give this five stars but the price is just ridiculous. Especially since the people who would need this the most are families where both parents work 40-60 hours a week, and any way they can save time would be beneficial to them. However, most of those people are what used to be considered our, "middle-class." But now, no matter how hard they seem to work, they can only ever seem to work toward survival, and never to better themselves or each other... That's the definition of something, but I won't get into it here. It's also not a kind of living easily understood unless you have experienced it. The only way I was able to get this was by leasing it. And so, if someone is financially comfortable, they can buy this in one fell swoop. But for those who aren't? As if things weren't bad enough for them, it's almost as if we're getting punished for being poor, because the only way we can hope to get something like this is if we pay MORE than double in the long run! But anyway, never being able to afford this before, and finally using a Dyson vacuum now? Man, pushing this thing over my carpet is like pushing a lawn mower in the grass, lol! And that's on eco mode! I can tell it's going to take some time to catch my house up to how it should be. This is also the quietest vacuum I've ever had also. Many of the Shark vacuums are great, but they are all super loud. And I doubt you're going to find anything with as much suction power as this thing has. It's also worth noting that the battery IS removable. I think that for earlier versions of this model, that was not the case. Also, it does come with a sort of clip, so that you can always have two attachments with you while vacuuming. And then, two more can clip onto the base. The only one there isn't a spot for, is the small attachment with the beater bar brush. And if you're on the fence about whether or not to get the Outsize model? I chose this one because many of the reviews for that one mentioned how heavy it was. And I can say, just from using this one, even this one can quickly seem to be heavy, because of the trigger button that has to be pressed down at all times for it to be on. In conclusion though, this is probably the best of the best. I haven't tried the Samsung and LG vacuums though, so I can't be 100% sure of that. Let me put it this way. Have you ever gotten a pair of speakers or headphones or something like that, that made you feel like you were really hearing music for the first time? Well, that's what Dyson vacuums will do to you as far as vacuuming goes, lol.

Very easy to use. Not heavy at all and has good battery run time. It’s just a little pricey.

Great vacuum for those who want to cut the cord. The accessories provide a wide variety of cleaning options for the home, car, and outdoors. Absolutely incredible in picking up our dog's fur from all corners and surfaces in our house. Simple to use, and recharges while it stores in it's docking station. May be a bit expensive, but it really is the best vacuum I have ever owned.
