The vacuum is great, plain and simple. It does it job, and does it well. It makes cleaning fun. Almost makes me look forward to the weekends when I get to vacuum the whole house. It's so light I can hold a beer in the other hand!! Haha. All jokes aside. I would definitely recommend this vacuum

Its aleight. Cool laser that shows you everything on the ground but is really only effective at night with all the lights off. Just too expensice for what youre getting. Small head so youll have to go back and forth multiple times and the tank is too small. Youll be dumping it out twice a night. Suction is ok but it doesnt work well on carpet unless tou change the head. The battery life also sucks. An hour at low suction but about 25 minutes at high suction.

Absolutely exceeds expectations. I bought this for the lightweight aspect and it truly is lightweight! It also has a lot of power for its size. Originally, I thought I'd never use so many attachments, but each one is great at its' specific purpose.

Excellent, especially for non carpet floors. We have dark floors and this thing shows every spot you missed. Truly a game changer. Takes the guess work at of it. Love this thing. The accessories are great too and it does a good job with carpet too. Clean up is easy. Would recommend.

This thing is awesome! Great for couches, wood/tile floors, cars, car seats, you name it. My only complaint would be like a large fluffy dog the dust bin fills up rather quickly. Would not recommend for large homes with excessive amounts of carpet (especially with pets).

Our son raved about his new Dyson-V12 and its features. We needed a new dust buster but the V12's features included that need with 4 other features. It now cleans our hardwood floors, carpets, furniture, picks up crumbs, and cleans the car interior. Powerful for a cord free vacuum and we get nearly an hour of use on one charge.

The vacuum definitely pulls every last spec of dust or dirt from your carpets! I decided to vacuum one room at a time until nothing was being sucked up by the machine. First day it came home, I re-vacuumed the same area on my carpet 3 times. The first time, it picked up most of the larger items you'd expect such as hair, dust, etc. The second time, it was pulling up dust and an almost sand like particle. By the 3rd time, I was picking up an extremely fine dust that was finer than powdered sugar from the floor. I swear this must have sucked up the fine dust and particles from the the carpet matting from when they built the place! Overall,love the power and thoroughness of the machine to effective clean. Cons: battery life is not that great, but the machine isn't intended to run for a long time given the form factor and size. I was disappointed my machine only came with 1 battery when other reviewers wrote it had 2. Also, the ejection design to remove debris from the machine isn't the best. You sometimes get hair or other particles stuck above the rubber/flexible gasket and need to use your hand or chopsticks to pull them out. You can always disassemble the dust bin, but its a messy experience when there's stuff stuck in it.

This vacuum is in a different league then any other vacuum we have ever had. It is amazing how it shows every little speck on the floors. It is lighter then any other vacuum and it and it still does a better job the other vacuums that are twice as heavy.

I love this vaccum. I just moved into my apartment. I have hard wood floors and it pick up everything. I have long hair so its easy to remove hair. Plus the laser is amazing pick up crumbles and white dog hair. My lab shedds so much so im finally able to clean after her.

Mama always said never get your wife a vacuum for Mothets day or her birthday, bit i did it anyway and it worked iut. Now the kids can help more around the house because this vacuum is light and easy to use also it has a toggle switch for the power instead of a trigger that needs to be constantly squeezed.

I love Dyson, I have a v8 for a few years and I loved it. I got this model and it has great options of suction power and attachments. It lasts longer than V8 and I have used it for regular carpet vacuuming, which I couldn't do with my v8 as it would loose the suction and shut down. This one works so far!

This vacuum is incredible! It’s versatile, lightweight, holds charge & can hold a lot of dirt/dust/hair. Easy to clean, disassemble and reassemble.

We’ve had this vacuum for a month now and it’s everything as advertised and more. I like that it’s quieter than most and the cordless convenience makes it easier for me. It’s powerful, portable and works in our home which includes a dog.

We got this vacuum after giving our son our "old" V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum. However, this is not the first vacuum we chose after the much loved V11. We initially purchased the V15, but in the end decided to return that one because it was just too heavy. By contrast, the V12 is light and it has a handy on switch on the front of the unit (nope -- you don't have to keep the trigger switch pulled the whole time -- just one easy on/off button.) Also, the easy on/off button means no more accidentally turning on the vacuum while emptying the bin. Speaking of the bin, it is smaller than the V11 and V15, but the V12 is so light it really doesn't matter unless you have a large home you're vacuuming. For us, we vacuum more frequently, so this is more convenient. For us, this is the Goldilocks vacuum -- just right. Enjoy!

A++ great battery life, great suction, and the laser work.

Fabulous! In true Dyson style - high quality vacuum. Battery life is fine for 2000 sq feet home with two dogs and kids. The varied strength help a lot moving from deep carpet to hardwood floors. No cords and wall mount are just icing on the Dyson cake.

Vroom vroom, this cordless vacuum flies past the rest! The mountable charging station, the variety of attachments, the laser dust detector, and power of this unit put it head and shoulders above any others!

This Dyson vacuum is amazing. I upgraded from the v10 and it’s like night and day. The floor attachment with the laser and the auto mode pick up so much more on hardwood floors than the normal head does. I would definitely recommend

I wish i would have purchased this sooner. I love the laser, it helps me find a ton of cat hair/litter that is quickly spread around. I think the filter is doing a great job keeping the smaller particles in the vacuum as well. Its easy to use and efficient majing me happy. Purchased some add ons from dysons website and plan to get a few more. Only thing is for the price i would have really appreciated a additional battery. Time will tell but so far loving it. Purchased best buys 5 year plan just to be safe.

Great vacuum cleaner, the laser is honestly scary with what it reveals. We have a dog & vacuum daily to keep on top of the hair - it was certainly illuminating how much our other vacuum left behind, would never go back to a non laser vacuum. The one gripe I have is that the canister is tiny, so needs to be emptied frequently - which wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t such a pain to pull apart.
