Great vacuum cleaner, the laser is honestly scary with what it reveals. We have a dog & vacuum daily to keep on top of the hair - it was certainly illuminating how much our other vacuum left behind, would never go back to a non laser vacuum. The one gripe I have is that the canister is tiny, so needs to be emptied frequently - which wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t such a pain to pull apart.

We already had two Dyson stick vacuums, one for each level of our home. However, the DC55 model, about 12+ years old, was ready for upgrading. We had remodeled and put hardwood oak floors on the main floor. The new features missing from the ancient model that we love: the button to turn on/off rather than holding the trigger constantly while vacuuming eliminates the hand cramping after 5 minutes. And the laser detection of dust and small debris on the non-carpeted floor is actually very helpful. I thought the laser was just a gimmick, but moving forward any further Dyson vacuums we might purchase, this will be a “must have” feature. The dust bin is pretty small, compared to the V10, but adequate for the entire downstairs. A heavier dust load (if we had carpets everywhere or a shedding pet) would require emptying midway through the task. But emptying the reservoir is very quick and tidy, so worth the lightness and maneuverability.

This one works amazing. We love the head that has the green light on it. It allows you to see any lingering dirt on the ground. Only thing it needs is a longer battery life and larger tank. Don’t hesitate to clean out the filter more often because it will help!

I own 11 vacuums in different forms and variations, but this by far is my FAVORITE. I love the laser and the suction. I have a dog who sheds so it’s nice to see all of the dander and fur on the floor.

Love my Dysons! I have the V15 animal and this one and both are amazing! Great suction, easy to use/clean, and versatile! I wish the filters were easier to clean or atleast came with 2 so you can swap one out while the other has time to dry fully but what can you do?

The best feature for this vacuum compared to our previous units is that it is not as loud and it is lightweight and easy to use. This combined with being cordless makes everyone in the family motivated to grab it for quick clean ups rather than wait or do a poor job with brush/broom and dust pan.

Great vacuum! Easy and lightweight. However, I did notice that after vacuuming up carpet powder, the vacuum filter got coated and wouldn't vacuum afterwards. Even after washing and drying the filter, it continued to have issues. The same thing happened after vacuuming my vehicle.

Awesome. The button turn on is way better than holding the trigger on other models. A lot of power and battery life. Can be a little tough to push on shaggy carpets but 20 out of 10 on hardwood surfaces.

I love Dyson and I have been waiting for this type of vacuum since I bought my first Dyson in 2004. It is light!! I’m so relieved at how easy it is to use. I liken Dyson to Apple when it comes ease of use. Intuitive. I always read instructions first and register with Dyson. For someone with physical limitations this is a dream. The Arthritis Foundation should give it a seal of approval. Everything clicks into place and comes apart so simply with minimal effort. It glides and pivots easily. It goes underneath furniture! It is so easy to dump canister in garbage- use the red lever. I have had this vacuum 24 hours now and have cleaned all the lint out the dryer, vacuumed under the stove and the entire living room floor. I have tested out both vacuum heads. I vacuumed the bathroom floor and the hair did not stick to the roller AT ALL. Plus it removed stuck on dust from the floor. The laser focus head is amazing! You see the dust and crap - the system computes and it’s gone. I’ve yet to fully absorb the data. I’m just so happy to be able to vacuum again without hurting myself!

The vacuum is so powerful it can lift my chihuahuas hair from any fabric. It has limited capacity when using high power, 3-5 minutes, but the med power is decent 30-45 minutes cleaning time. Also it charges pretty quick.

This is the second Dyson Cordless Vacuum I've owned and it's awesome. The suction is great, the battery life is great, and no more hair entangled in the brush roller. We have a multitude of cats and a rabbit indoors and this vacuum tackles all our pet hair problems like a champ.

I have a v8 animal as well and fit does not touch this one. This Dyson is amazing it’s light, powerful and has a great battery life. The laser really works. You can see so much that had been missing in the past. My hard floors have never been as clean.

So happy with my Dyson vacuum. Although its pricey compared to other brands, it's so worth it. It is light weight and does suction really good. The best thing is it can go under the bed, the sofa, the maneuverability is awesome! I will buy another Dyson if this one breaks.

Love this. It’s powerful and I can see all the dust that I use to miss. My hair doesn’t get tangled up in the brush and best of all it’s light weight so I don’t tire while pushing it around.

Great little vacuum, we love the wood floor attachment. Does the whole house on a single charge, its very quiet and its a breeze to handle. Would deffinetly recomend it to anyone with kids or pets make cleaning floors very easy and quick

Great suction, easy to handle and maneuver. It's also very easy to empty the dirt, and easy to switch out attachments. I'm very pleased with this vacuum and would certainly buy again and will recommend to my friends and family.

If you’re on the fence please take the plunge and get this!! You will not regret it. This is the lightest vacuum that I’ve had. I vacuum my stairs and sofa with ease. I love that this is cordless and actually enjoy vacuuming.

Was debating between the V15 and the V12. For my 700 square foot apartment, this will do just fine. Don’t ever really have in issue running low on batter, goves me about 35-40 min of use in auto mode. My first cleaning was the worse so battery drained a lot more but if you regularly clean, youll find it super easy and fun vaccuming. My wife even makes fun of me of how many times throughout the day i vaccuum because you can see everything eith the laser. PCD freak. My first Dyson product I own and I absolutely love it. No turning back now!! A bit pricey but 100% worth your money. You get what you pay for!

I used to think stick vacuums wouldn’t pull as much dirt off until i got this one. it did such an amazing job i was so amazed at all the dirt it pulled off my carpet. wonderful for pet owners and it is soooo easy to assemble. totally worth the price.
