Solid upgrade over the V11, and it was at a great holiday discount. Probably the reason why I upgraded, as it was $300 off. However, I’m enjoying the features. Especially the more powerful motor (which you can feel how it sticks to the floor tiles) and the adaptive suction which boosts automatically when there’s more dirt or a rug surface. Pretty cool. I’ve had Dyson cordless vacuums since a V8 and trust me when I say that I won’t get these without a BB warranty or plan. At one point or another, they have all eventually failed, and well beyond the 4 year mark. Hoping this one outlasts the previous ones, as I’m definitely enjoying the power and features. Dyson makes the best handheld vacuums, hands down.

By far the best vacuum I have ever owned and I have owned a lot. I have been a huge shark fan over the last few years but they just keep having issues so I made the switch back to Dyson and I don’t regret it one bit. I have a family of 7 and two large dogs so a quality vacuum is a must. The suction is amazing on my carpet and it gets so much fine debris. The green light is a game changer, it amazed me what is on my floor just a day after vacuuming. It has made this chore kinda fun haha. I use this everyday and I love it. The only complaint that I would have would be the trigger but in all honesty it’s not a big deal and I have gotten used to it now. Just get it, you won’t regret it!

Love the green light on hard floors making the dirt to really shine. Picking up dirt and debris is fantastic. Beats our built in vacuum system hands down.

We have had this vacuum for almost 2 years now and we are happy. It performs up to our standards, holds a charge well, and is easy to clean out.

We've had Dyson products in the past. Our old stand up vacuum from like 2001 finally died and was beyond repair so we opted to try a Samsung stick vacuum we saw on another website. It was awful. After that we tried a Shark stick vacuum from a large big box store. Another waste of money. I finally bit the bullet and paid the premium price for a premium product. The Dyson Stick Detect is absolutely amazing. Suction is fantastic, the battery life is great, and the lazer attachment which shows debris on the floor is really cool (even if it shows how gross your floors are). If youre shopping for a vacuum dont get fooled by other brands offering more "value" just get what works.

So i put this one to the test against my full size Dyson Animal, and there is no comparison. After vaccuming with this new dyson in the same area of the floor, i still had to empty the bin. The suction on this new vacuum is strong. I like the hard floor attachment with the laser light showing you where the dirt is. After vacumming with this, i feel like my house is cleaner. I love the ability to just grab the vacuum off the charger and quickly vacuum a room. With the other i have to get it from the closet unwind the cord and plug it in the having to deal with the cord around you is annoying. This stick dyson is so much better.

It's lightweight, it's easily maneuverable, and it's powerful. It works equally well on carpet and hardwood floors. As a welcome bonus, it picks up all the cat hair shed by our pet cat.

Very easy to use and gets under the couch and table with ease! It is not heavy and does an excellent job! So nice not having to worry about the cord! I’m so glad I made this purchase! Makes my life easier!

There is a lot to like about this vacuum, the most outstanding feature is the hard surface tool. That green laser shows the dirt, hair, fur, food particles, etc. You know it's clean when you are finished. I also like the economy mode that lowers the vacuum suction and noise level. It also boosts the amount of time on a fully charged battery to 90 minutes using the hard surface tool. One other nifty item is the articulating 90 degree under furniture extension. It makes it very easy to clean under sofas and beds. I had to use a stronger wall mount for the top screw on the mount. Also the recommended height is higher than it needs to be it sits about 20cm off the floor when installed at the recommended height. I'd lower it 15cm and I think it would look better. I purchased a standard tool connector and a flexible hose on the 3rd party market. I needed both.

This vacuum is incredible. It works great! The different settings are convenient and it lasts a long time between charges. Easy to empty the trash makes it a real winner. It’s a quiet vacuum so it’s not a disturbance. My wife loves it as well.

Excellent vacuum. I had held out on getting a cordless vacuum for far too long in retrospect. This V15 Detect makes cleaning so much easier. I was a bit concerned about battery life, but the battery is more than enough to clean a 1,900 ft^2 house. It has many more uses than a typical vacuum. By way of example, turning it on low suction while using the soft brush is great for cleaning keyboards.

This product is very affective, easy to use and easy to clean. It also very light that will not make you tired while using it. What i also like about this product is the battery lifespan, full charging last for days.

I'm so in love with this vacuum!!! I'm addicted to it, I actually enjoy vacuuming and look forward to it. The green light on it is a game changer. I have a white French bulldog and the fur he sheds lights up on the floor...so cool!! I highly recommend this vacuum and give it a 10. It is light and powerful.

The best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. It completely gamifies your cleaning experience because the light emited enhances the visibility of otherwise unseen particles and you feel like catching them all. It even shows the number of particles that you have caught. The number of attachments provided (a Dyson standard) makes it fit for cleaning the narrowest areas. Me and my fiance are totally in love with the vacuum and we feel like doing it everyday because of the simplified and rewarding experience.

Suction set on MED/Auto; still very good suction. Not as easy glade on carpet as old V10 but I believe that’s due to great suction and better deep cleaning. Nice to know battery power remaining. The FluffyOptic head is great for seeing dirt/dust on hardwood and kitchen floors. Still Dyson is pricey but best stick vac tried.
