Dyson V6 absolute is super powerful and very convenient, only drawback would be time of use is short after each charge

I appreciate the power and versatility of this vacuum. It is easy to manipulate due to the fact that it is light weight.

My wife had wanted a cordless Dyson stick vacuum for some time. When they introduced this model with the hardwood floor friendly head and we found it on sale we pulled the trigger (no pun intended). Works well for quick cleanup, and it's very convenient to use as a hand vac without the stick and with motorized carpet brush attachment on carpeted stairs - avoids cords, hoses, canisters, etc. Very nice supplement to heavier duty vacuum which is preferred for whole house or large room carpet vacuuming. Recommended.

Extremely powerful and very easy to use ..great cleaning capacity and very handy , even my 7 year old daughter can handle it well...

This is my second Dyson, my first was powered. Only drawback on the cordless is it only goes for 15 min before needing recharged. Nonetheless it does a great job.

Needed a new vacuum. Had a tough decision which one to buy. Glad we got this one, less battery time as the V8 but for the price this works great

Light and easy to use. Only complaint after 1 year is the vacuum randomly started pulsing after rinsing and dryin filter then drying 24 hours as per instructions and suction doesn’t seem quite the same since. Battery life is a bit short but I knew this going in to my purchase. I would definitely recommend for small areas and hard flooring.

I only need a hardwood floor vac and didn't want to lug that big hose around so I went with Dyson cordless. Power is good when you use Max setting but battery will drain much faster this way. Wish they had a hard floor attactment without a beater bar, it would be much better and faster to clean the whole house. I don't know how it performs on rugs. It is convenient without cords or hoses.

This works as advertised and as MANY people have commented on, the battery life is very short. In our small house, it does about one room before it needs to be recharged, if you are quick. It does pick up a lot - after one run you do need to dump the collectings. A good modification would be to have an external battery (like the power tools) so that you could have multiple batteries and use it longer. FYI, the "no" below is because of the battery issue which will be common to all these battery powered vacuums. If you HAVE to have a battery powered vacuum, this is a great one to get.

I read a lot of reviews prior to buying so I knew all about the short battery life... With that being said it's a powerful vac, the absolute has all the attachments you might need, and you can mount it on the wall so it's up & out of the way... It's easy to empty & you immediately can see all the stuff you picked up.

Love the ease at which I can get under the bed and all the rest of the furniture. Lightweight yet strong.

I am amazed the amount of dog hair and dust it picks up! Powerful little sucker. The weight and ease of use is wonderful for a physically challenged person.

This vacuum is great for carrying between multiple floors as it is light. It is always very powerful at sucking up junk! :-)

Powerful sucrion, short battery life about 15 min on normal 6 min on turbo but it's fine . Best vacuum I ever had .

Excellent cordless vacuum cleaner. I have wanted to try the Dyson cordless stick vacuum and was pleased with how it operates. Quick cleanups are a snap now. The attachments for hardwood floors and another for carpet work very well. Take the stick off and you have a hand held vacuum to clean up your car, furniture and much more. It holds a charge up to 20 minutes and re-charges quickly. It is pricey, as most of the Dyson products are, but is well worth the investment.

Excellent vaccum. Small and powerful. The only slight downside is limited operating time, being battery powered.

I have a Dyson upright and this is just as good as I expected. Lightweight and good suction. Great handheld vacuum.

This Dyson has excellent attachments especially for hardwood floors. Everything is great except the battery only lasts 6 minutes of continuis use.

Like many say, the downside is definitely the 15 minute max charge the Dyson vacuum has. If Dyson can miraculously make the charge last even for a full 30 minutes, it would get 5 stars. Once that charge is done though, it takes about 3 hours or less to charge that 15 minute life. As long as you're not a super clean freak needing to vacuum every few hours then you should be fine with the battery life. If not, the charging process will get annoying for you. Regardless it really is an awesome vacuum. Its portable, relatively light-weight, has about 6 cleaner heads that you can use for different conditions (one for hard floor, carpets, mattresses, two small soft brushes, and a crevice tool) and the long vacuum neck so you can vacuum standing up. Basically the neck can attach to any of the above cleaner heads which is great to vacuum cobwebs in ceiling corners, etc. Best of all, it sounds cool when you release the trigger as it gives this sci-fi-ish robotic sound. But to be honest, if you can wait it out and be patient, the price is going down. When I wanted it initially when it came out, it was obviously still at $599, but I bought it in April 2016 for $479.99. And currently as of today its at $449.99. So it will get there......eventually.
