Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm happy to hear that you've been so pleased with the pick-up and performance of the Dyson V6 Animal, thus far in your use. In terms of run time, your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 6 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 16-20 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Not impressed (to say the least)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very disappointed when I used this Vacuum, it only lasted about 15min (on low) and then the battery was so hot it wouldn't let me charge it for a while. When you consider that I have to let the battery charge for 30+min, get 15 min of vacuum time and then have to wait until it cools down to recharge it- I would spend half the day getting my vacuuming done! I didn't think the suction was that great either- it was okay, but my Shark lift away is way better. This unit definitely needs a removable battery, so you can keep a few on hand and switch them out.

Posted .Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to provide a review on the V6 Animal. We are pleased to inform you that all of our cordless machines have a removable battery. The battery is held in by 2 phillips screws. The V6 is a great cordless for in between cleanings, quick clean ups or small areas as it does feature 20 minutes of constant suction in standard mode and 6 minutes on MAX power for tougher jobs.
