Full power mode is needed for everything else and lasts almost 5 minutes before the battery needs recharging. It's a little overpriced but meets my needs.

We do also offer upright and canister models that will deliver about double the suction power of a cordless unit. Although the V6 is a good solution for nearly all household dirt and dust, you may benefit from a more powerful full-size model as it seems you may have heavier material around the house to pick up.

My cordless just stop taking a charge and I have used it for less than 6 months. I called Dyson and the closest repair store is an hour away, and they can't guarantee it has the parts. They are backordered on batteries which tells me they have many problems. I had to send the unit back via UPS and wait until they receive it before they send a replacement. I will be going back to a shark tomorrow.

Posted .Thank you for your review on the V6 Animal. The V6 is a great cordless for in between cleanings, quick clean ups or small areas as it does feature 20 minutes of constant suction in standard mode and 6 minutes on MAX power for tougher jobs.
