Unfortunately this vacuum did not last. I purchased the Geek Squad warranty however and it was well wort it.

I spend more time clean the vacuum than using the thing.

Not really what we expected, you have to empty the container after each vacuum, otherwise when you hang it on the charger it leaks back it the tube.

Doesn’t work well on rugs, leaves a lot of particals behind

Hubby bought this for my "push present" for the birth of our 3rd child. Will admit not the most romantic idea but I loooooooove this machine. The power this bad boy has hidden underneath it's purple case is amazing. I now look forward to making time to vacuum just to see how much dirt I got out of the hall this week. I have to say the only negative I have seen so far is I don't like having to hold down the button continously to keep the suction up. I've had this guy 5 months now and cleaning it is a breeze and emptying the bin is easy.

I bought this vacuum about 2 months ago. I love it for our carpeted stairs and upper level, I also use it in my car. We have the DC65 already, but it was a hassle to haul up and down two sets of stairs, it also didn't work on our hardwood floors. We picked this one as it was able to clean our hardwood floors, so I wouldn't have to sweep as often. It has been great for everything I have used it on so far. It isn't as powerful as my DC65, but is perfect for a quick cleaning. I also love the ease of cleaning the brush bars. Since I have long hair, it can often cause a problem with vacuums. The only downfall is my dog doesn't like the sound when it is running, so he tends to run up and bark at it everytime I am vacuuming (he doesn't do that with the DC65). I have already recommended this to my friends.

Don't buy this vacuum. I purchased 2 of them and one quite working just after the warranty ran out. Now I need to spend over $100 to fix.

Brush broke within 1 year cost $279 to fix and broke of course right when warranty ended Absolutely not worth the hype

Unhappy with this vacuum u have to hold the button on to make it work I took it back for this reason.

It works great when it works! We bought one and after the 3rd one quit on us we got a full refund!

Didn't work right out of the box. Dyson help says it is a battery issue. Returned to Store for Refund!

I love this vacuum! I had one of the old Dyson Animal vacuums (before the Dyson Ball). That went out after 12 years, and I bought a Shark because all the online reviews rated Shark higher than Dyson. I truly think Shark paid people to post positive online reviews, because there is no way any person would actually think a Shark is better than a Dyson. After 2 fitful years of hating that vacuum, the Shark went out and I came back to a Dyson. The Animal Cordless is the BEST vacuum I have ever had! It's so easy to use and it keeps the charge well. I have multiple pets, including a golden retriever, and this vacuum handles hair pick up on hard wood, tile and carpet. I was worried about the suctioning power and the charge. Both are non-issues. This vacuum is amazing and worth the money.

It’s broken already and I’m bringing it back I cannot believe it!!!

Dyson is a great brand. We love the animal version because of our pets. It cleans up like a charm and is easy to empty.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift primarily to do quick clean ups on our kitchen and main floor daily, primarily on hardwood and tile flooring. We have two small kids and they make a mess. I got a sweet price and that’s why I was willing to take a chance despite some so so reviews. While I can’t seem to understand why any product doesn’t come with interchangeable battery packs these days, it is what it is. I never had any intent to use it as a primary vacuum or to replace our upright plug in. However, I find myself using this guy for everything. I can easily do each floor of our home on a charge (approximately 900 sq feet). We use the plug in upstairs in our carpeted bedrooms, but the animal everywhere else. It has enough juice to do my 900 sq foot carpeted basement in one charge and I don’t have to carry the big vacuum down the two flights of stairs. Despite being a much smaller motor and not necessarily designed for their work, I feel it does an amazing job of cleaning. The cup is full and I have no idea where it came from. We don’t have any pets, but the amount of hair it cleans up from my wife and daughter is disgusting. I do have to regularly clean out the power heads, but they are designed to be cleaned easily. I really do love this thing and my wife is jealous. It was a gift for her after all.

I have had this vacuum for about a month and to my surprise, this picks up everything you throw at it. I also own a roomba but it is no match for the thorough cleaning this device performs. The part i love most about it is the ability to clean carpet on stair with ease. granted the 15min run time is not sufficient to do the whole house, but then again, i use the big vacuums for those chores. This baby is mostly used in the kitchen and living room area for quick cleans. I love the fact that the cleaning brush is motorized and coz of that it picks up even the smallest crumbs of dirt.

I'm a guy, I hate vacuuming, I hate being asked to vacuum, etc., but now i find myself picking up this little Dyson stick everyday and vacuuming my hardwood floors because its so easy to use. Changed my whole outlook on vacuuming. Does a great job on floors and it is INCREDIBLY maneuverable! I literally was able to vacuum underneath my cats food bowl without actually picking up the bowl because of how nimble this Dyson is. Love how light it is, that its cordless, and that it takes seconds to grab it or put it away. Best purchase ever.

I have always wanted a Dyson and chose to purchase this stick version. I can't believe how much suction this has and when compared to my other vaccum, well, there is no comparison. Battery life lasts well beyond enough time for me to completely vacuum all flooring in my house. Love how easy it is to add/remove attachments and storage is so easy!

Love it!! I just grab it and use it daily. The attachments are easy to take on and off. It holds the charge plenty of time. My only recommendation would be that the handle should be a little more ergonomic and would benefit from being a little more rubberized with finger indentations. The straight handle gets a little uncomfortable after a long use. Other than that, it is fantastic and I am extremely glad I bought it.

Love it. My house feels, looks, and smells so much cleaner. This machine got a lot of dirt out of my old rugs and carpeted stairs. And cat hair! So much cat hair... I got this because it is cordless with a long reach. I didn’t realize it would clean so much better than my other vacuums. Very pleased with this purchase.
