The expansion of the battery life makes it a winner. We have a large house from the 1700's with a lot of wood floors and 3 Labradors. This machine keeps up with the dog hair and keeps on working. Now have one for up stairs and down

Dyson has fixed that issue (opens and dumps contents on the floor, you must listen for it to click when you close the canister) works great. Had to replace the battery once, which was easy and under $40.

The battery only lasts about 15-20 minutes based on how you use it. But it is great for small and quick jobs when it doesn't make sense to drag out a big vacuum.

Now I have two that are interchangeable. Having two enables me to use the vacuum for twice the time if I need to, and have them in separate areas of the house.

Battery lasts 25 miutes on one charge in normal mode. In boost mode, lasts for about 7 minutes. But I've never had to use boost mode so far - normal mode does the job just fine.

After a couple of weeks of life-transforming vacuum use and results, all I can say is: believe the hype.

The battery is lasting longer and seems to charge faster. Had to purchase a special attachment so my prior heads will work. Only time will tell how it holds up.

Good product for quick clean up

Very limited battery life. About 15 minutes then had to recharge. I'll use it primarily for furniture and high vac hose .

The Dyson V6 Animal Cord Free vacuum is great for in between cleanings, quick clean ups or small areas as it does feature 20 minutes of constant suction in standard mode, when using a non-motorized tool. When utilizing the cleaner head or mini motorized tool, run time will be about 17 minutes.
Please keep in mind that the V6 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. Especially when used on bare floors as the MAX power is really only needed for tougher jobs and thicker carpeting. In MAX power, you'll have about 6-7 minutes of run time.
