If you have pets that shed, this vacuum is the cats meow, however we have dogs. If you have pets of any kind. This is the best vacuum ever.

I am in love with the Dyson Stick Vacuum. It is absolutely everything I thought it would be and more. I have only used a broom and dustpan twice since purchasing this.

I bought one for myself before Christmas and like it so much that I came a got each kid one for Christmas. They really like it also. Best light weight vacuum out there.

Recent purchase. Used it 5 - 6 times. Great for vinyl floor in kitchen and carpet too. So easy to grab to quickly run it over the floor. Very pleased so far.

We have foot traffic from a farm lot coming into the house onto a dark blue carpet. Repeated cleaning is a daily requirement. This vacuum helps immensely.

convenient for quick cleanups. good mounting option. only reasons i gave it 4 stars is because there are 4 accessories and only 2 places to put them and the collection chamber is not always easy to clean.

Love this vacuum! It is super easy and convenient. Picks up almost everything. My parrot loves to rip up cardboard and toss chunks all over the floor - unfortunatly they are too big for the V6.

Perfect solution to our pet hair issues. This baby performs like a champ. Lightweight, portable and has enough battery life for me to clean the whole house.

Works really well but dies after about 15 minutes of use. Charge time takes anywhere from 3-4 hours.

Had a black n decker DustBuster that just wouldn't hold a charge. Maybe would get 20 seconds out of it. No joke. Several times wanted to throw it in the trash and was skeptical of getting s new one and it too having same problems down the road. Wife and I were in Best Buy and there was the dyson section. This model was on sale so we said let's try it. Best decision we have made. Quiet. Holds a charge and is rated for 20 minutes. Other nice feature is it's on a long tube so no more bending and crouching to suck up the kids food messes! I'd give this 6 stars if I could.

I got this for my wife for her birthday while on sale and she is super excited about it. We are redoing the flooring in our house and this will be perfect for that.

This vacuum is great for doing small areas or big rooms. Great suction power. Can get into spots the upright cannot reach. Battery holds up well. Cost was reasonable.

I love Dyson. Bought this as replacement for an older model. Love all the attachments that comes with this model. I vacuum my basement carpet floors and works great.

Wanted this for short black dog hair and general cleaning. Love the cordless feature. Use it daily in the kitchen and living room on hardwood floors and area rugs.

It's my third one. This one being a gift. I think I messed the first one up after a couple years of use when I decided to vacuum drywall dust.

We bought this because we wanted a vacuum that would be quick and easy for spills or vacuuming a room or two. We have two cats. We typically use this on "Boost" mode which gives us 6 minutes of use. It pulls up all the cat hairs and dirt. Because the trigger controls on and off, we can typically vacuum two carpeted rooms before losing power. Non-boost mode gives the 20 minutes promised by Dyson. I had low expectations but am satisfied with the job it does. Tile floors feel "different" after vacuuming with this product. Expensive but seems worth it.

Picked this up on sale, was excited to try it out. First and foremost, the suction, balance, weight, and how the accessories go on and off it brilliant. A very well designed product. Four versus five stars are for two things. First the battery life, while 20 minutes is not bad, it is not great given how long it takes to recharge. If they had a rapid charger that would make all the difference in the world, but 3 hours for a recharge, minus a half star. The other half star deduction is for the power "switch". It is not an on or off button. It is a trigger that you have to constantly apply pressure. Really? A vacuum that you have to hold down the button to keep it running. Seems silly.
