Not good for pet Parrots

When I first turned it on it blew feathers everywhere and then wouldn't pick up dry pellets. Because the motor/exhaust is near face, despite a HEPA filter, it flared up allergies the 3 days I tried it. Returned it and went back to inexpensive Electrolux Ergorapido. Dyson is easy to assemble and switch attachments or to hand vac. Good maneuverability. Someone told me they really like theirs for a dog.

Thank you for providing this review. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the poor initial experience but I'm happy to work with you and clarify a few things regarding the V6 Animal. In terms of weight and density, food pellets are quite substantial in relation to household dust and dirt. For these pickups, it would be advisable to utilize the machine on max power mode with a crevice tool to allow more concentrated airflow and pickup power.
In regards to the filter, the V6 Animal features a single washable pre-filter but does not utilize the additional HEPA filter that is featured on both the V6 HEPA and V6 Absolute models. For households with allergy concerns, these are the optimal cord-free units.
