Excellent vaccuum for maintenance cleaning. If I use it at least twice a week, it's effective. If I go too long, though, this little thing can't handle it. However, it makes keeping up with dog hair on hardwood floors a breeze. Just don't expect it to pick up larger debris.

Despite somewhat high price (and some discounts later on which we did not get reimbursement for)) we are still very pleased with this vacuumer. easy to use, great vacuuming power and perfect addition to our Roomba which we (surprisingly) like even more. If you buy it you will not regret it.

this is my 3rd Dyson vacuum purchase, and I have no complaints. This cordless is awesome for someone like me who has a back injury and needs to vacuum frequently due to 3 pets. The one drawback is the life of the battery but it IS cordless and not meant for a all day cleaning! I love my Dysons.

I love this cordless vac. It has the suction power of a full sized corded unit. The only downside is that I get really into using it and wind up exhausting the battery. If Dyson would increase the battery capacity, that would help.

This is my second Dyson I also have and upright one but I use this one to clean the couch, beds, seats, and car. it works really well but if you are going to use max power the charge doesn't last very long.

It's the best vaccum I ever invested in it portable and you don't have to lug around a cord. It's light come with all these cool attachments. Its empties easily and it takes up very little space. I absolutely love it.

Absolutely the best vacuum I've ever owned. I have 2 dogs and it picks up every last bit of dog hair. Light weight, easy to clean, works for thick carpet and great for my stairs. Highly recommend.

I have purchased several cordless vacuums and I've had to replace every one of them. I don't see that happening with this one. Suction is consistent. Gets the job done with ease and makes vacuuming less of a chore.

How did I live without this? Quick clean up of scattered kitty litter on the floor. Good bye to dog hair. So many uses when I don't have to get out the big Dyson. Easy to grab and easy to empty. Lots of power.

I have only owned this item for 2 months so I can't speak to longevity, however this unit is light, powerful, and very agile. Would definitely recommend.

Love this vacuum! It's light and has plenty of power. I purchased this vacuum for quick clean up of dog hair on hardwood and tile floors. Has full power until battery is spent. I'm happy with my purchase.

I have owned 2 shark cordless vacuums and was not especially Impressed with either. I have a friend who has a corded Dyson vacuum and loves it. My husband read a Best Buy ad in the Bryan Eagle while visiting during Thanksgiving.. When we got home he went online and bought the V6. I am impressed with the lightweight and power of the machine. The ease of storage of the attachment and the vacuum are a plus.. It is out of the floor and easy to empty! *****

I love these vacs, easy to use in a hurry and although it only last for 20 minutes or so I have not had the battery die while I am using it for touch ups . My kids have 1 each and my other at vacation home . I heard there is a newer version a v8 which runs for longer , but again I have had no problems with the V6 models . I would recommend this . Does the job perfectly without tripping over cords , which I also have, an upright and canister animal Dysons .

So far this is a great vacuum. The run time is the only shortfall. Great suction and does everything I was looking for. Hope the battery holds up over time.

Just put in laminate flooring and this is the best vacuum ever. I have a small dog and vacuum every day. Very light weight and easy to use. Works well on laminate and area rugs.

Love the ease of this stick type vac! Quick and easy to grab when needed. I find I vacuum more often because it is so light and easy to use. Only con is I wish the charge lasted a little longer :-( overall a great everyday vac!

This vacuum is so powerful and yet compact. I was shocked at what it pulled out of my relatively new area rug. I think I'm officially a Dyson fan. I couldn't go back to a regular vacuum after this.

My boyfriend and I have been searching for a vacuum ever since we moved in together; it's been a long ordeal. We started off with a shark but the combo of having a cord and being top heavy was not to our satisfaction and it was returned. I saw that this went on sale for ~$200. I was a little nervous about getting it since the top complaint has been about how long the vacuum lasts, but i decided to take a chance since it was a great price and dyson is a very good brand. 1) Yes, it will last only 5 minutes if it is on MAX power- but you don't really need to be using max power the whole time you are vacuuming - or at least for me 2) we have wood floors and use it to pick up specks of dirt, dust and my shedding hair and it works great for that. the 20 minute charge allows me to vacuum our whole apartment (~1200 sq ft) as long as its not on max power. 3) LOVE how light and maneuverable it is 4) i like how i can make it handheld or use it as a stick vacuum. I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase. I think the only thing i have to complain about it is the stick is made out of some matte finish so it leaves marks if it rubs against something... and yes if you are paying full price for this vacuum i'd be a little upset if using the max power only lasted for 5 minutes.. but i didnt pay full price and dont need to use that button...it just really depends on what your needs are for this vacuum. so for me, it's is pretty good.

Bought as replacement for other cordless vacuum that quit after 3 uses. This is lightweight and powerful. It charges quickly and has great suction. Empties easily.
