Love this little gadget, just wish the battery lasted a bit longer. Powerful suction. Comes with a lot of attachments.

My family has a lot of allergies, especially to dust mites, so when I saw this I had to try it. Used it on my foam mattress topper first and what came out was simultaneously frightening and fascinating. This vacuum has a ton of suction! It comes with other attachments, so you can use it for everyday household cleaning as well. I don't know yet if it actually works to control dust mites, but the cleaning power of this vacuum is superb. Only wish you could plug it in and still have it run, instead you have to charge it and then unplug it to use. Last about 20 minutes on Max.

I originally purchased a wireless Black & Decker vacuum cleaner to use in my car, I had to return it because it was not powerful enough and it made it harder for me to get my car clean. The Dyson V6 Mattress did a much better job and I am keeping this unlike the first vacuum cleaner I purchased. It even has an option to have a higher suction capacity that makes vacuuming a breeze though it will deplete the charge faster.

I spent quite some time reviewing cordless hand vacs for allergy sufferers. The dyson mattress edition is the by far the best I could find. I think the name is confusing and should be named the "allergy" edition. There are also several dyson hand vac editions which can be more confusing. Most editions vary in terms of attachments. The mattress edition is the ONLY dyson hand vac to feature a HEPA exhaust filter. This is the most important feature of this hand vac. The other dyson hand vacs have one typical traditional style thin filter to prevent dust front escaping the collection canister. The mattress edition has this typical filter PLUS it has an additional HEPA filter at the rear exhaust of the unit to prevent any particulate from entering the air. This HEPA exhaust filter works extremely well period. Also the mattress edition has an ELECTRIC powered brush which works surprisingly well. Most cheaper hand vacs have an AIR powered brush attachment which are completely worthless. This dyson also features two speeds and is surprisingly powerful in the max mode. In my opinion the mattress edition is the only Dyson hand vac worth purchasing and is the best cordless hand vac on the market. The only reason it lost one star is price. It is overpriced for a cordless hand vac period. Also one could argue the battery life could be better in the max mode; however, cordless hand vacs are designed for quick clean up jobs and this is not an issue for me. The bottom line there is no competition with the two stage filtration system including a HEPA exhaust filter. It is an allergy sufferers dream hand vac.

The vac is light weight and has plenty of suction. The one downfall is that it cuts out when it thinks it is plugged

Works very well and has great suction which you'd expect from Dyson. Only complaint is the short battery life when you use the MAX suction feature. Not a problem if you get the job done fast.

Purchased product to avoid hauling my big vac up and down stairs just to do mattresses. Lightweight and powerful. Great machine with tools for different areas around the house.

this thing has a lot of power and good suction. The head of the beater brush attachment can be a little finicky, but after awhile you get used to it.

I can't really comment on how well this works as a mattress vacuum, since when I used it on mine it did not suck up much. I use a waterproof mattress cover on my bed, so I am hoping this has protected it and kept it relatively. It did a great job on pillows as well as the floor and I love the portability of it. I wish it was less expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I keep it in my semi works great for the truck small and easy to use

My dogs both shed and both get up on the furniture. It's always embarrassing when friends visit because I know they're going home with hair on their clothes if they sit down on the sofa. This is the best handheld vacuum I've ever used. It does the job of cleaning the hair off the fabric perfectly. It's also great on floors. No bag to insert, and powerful enough for just about anything. It's great for cargo areas of the car and for floor mat pick up. If you need a handheld vacuum, this is the one.

Great concept. Great suction power, but with little time to have the job done. If you use the brush with max power it only gives you 6 minutes to work. What can you do with six minutes? Unless is a very small area then you are OK. Bigger areas you have to rush it. It would be nice if they can design the batteries just like the a drill where you change batteries and recharge while continue working.

We brought it home and fried it on a mattress the power the it has is amazing we could not believe the dust we got from the mattress almost a quarter of the contain was full

Outstanding hand vac with excellent suction. Only downside is that it only lasts 30 minutes on a full charge. With that said, that is more than enough time for me to do what I need to get done with this hand vac.

Does an excellent job on the mattress as described. Whether it's small jobs in the kitchen or larger jobs on the stairs the Dyson V Matress has a powerful suction for picking up dirt, dust and grime.

Great suction power, good as expected. Can't believe how dirty my mattress is. It is great, especially when we can change mattress all the time.

This is our first Dyson product. We really love it. It is so powerful and easy to use. The only problem may be that the battery can only run 20-30 minutes. Anyway, it performs much better than we expected.

Works great for quick pickup of small stuff, GREAT SUCTION, and saves hassle of pulling big vacuum out! A little pricey though...
