Great idea for fast stuff... battery last very little but over all great for fast jobs

This stick vac is a beast on solid floors as well as carpets with the included attachments. Living at the beach, you tend to get more sand on your floor than what's at the beach some days. And the dachshunds don't seem to help matters either. Those little low riders will bring in a dune on their undersides if you are not careful. I was pleased with how the fluffy roller and the super auction picks up sand and other debris on solid floor without flinging it across the room. The collection bin is super simple to empty without even touching the yuck. Yes the battery only lasts for about 20 minutes (manual says 6 minutes when using max mode, but mine seems to keep on sucking past the 6 minute mark), but this vac is perfect for those quick and dirty little daily cleaning jobs like the entry way, kitchen floor, dog beds, and yes your vehicle. I was so impressed with this vac that I purchased a second for mom. The light weight and ease of use is perfect for those days when the RA is set in.

I have resisted this brand for years because of its price tags. I was looking for a cordless stick vac and had even recently bought (and then resold because it couldn't handle pet hair) a different brand, so when this "Deal of the Day" arrived in my inbox I immediately started researching it. This model is perfect for my needs. We have four (rescue) dogs and I also foster, so there are always "tumbleweeds" of pet fur and hair skimming across the hardwoods, sticking to the rugs, and floating through the air, especially when the AC is on. I needed something lightweight, highly maneuverable (to get those pet-hair dust bunnies under the furniture), and preferably cordless with enough power and that WOULDN'T CLOG. This satisfies all of those needs and more! It's aesthetically attractive, too, so I mounted it in my combination craft/dog supplies room. Don't buy this if you need a long-lasting charge: on MAX power it'll only last 6 minutes or less; on regular power (which is sufficient for our needs) it'll last up to 16 minutes. It takes 3.5 hours to charge so plan accordingly. However, I have never owned any vacuum whose pipes and accessories were so easy to install/uninstall, whose design was so sleek, almost elegant (including the charger and mount), and whose operation was so intuitive. Kudos to the design and manufacturing teams.

Dyson - V6 Total Clean Bagless Cordless Hand Vac - Blue/nickel. How did I live without this! My vacuum broke (after 15 years) so while at Best Buy for another purchase, we saw the Dyson V6 on sale. FIRST point... I didn't like that most of the attachments were sold separately... it was an extra $50.00 to get the attachments I wanted. However, I noticed there was a special (in another aisle) that had the V6 AND all of the attachments for a cheaper price than individually. So this was great. The vac is cordless. I love it! The power in this vac is incredible. It lasts about 15 minutes, but this vac sucked up more dust and dog hair in 15 minutes than any vac I had previously. wonderful on laminate flooring as well.

So far my favorite in vacuums. It is light weight, easy to use and I LOVE NOT HAVING A CORD! The suction is great and seems to get everything it crawls over. If you have baseboards and like to keep them clean, this is your vacuum hands down! I have white base boards in my intire house and now they're clean white base boards. This vacuum made it easier and quicker than I've ever done. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is it is somewhat of a pain to change out accessory heads. They put the unlock backwards. Also it's a little noisier than I'd like, but all in all yes I would recommend and purchase again.

We have a brand new puppy. That puppy has turned a portion of our backyard into her own personal sand pit. Every day and all day our floors and furniture are covered with sand and whatever esle she fancies that day. This vacuum is extremely light weight and easy to use, I can just pull it from the charger and in 5 minutes have the high traffic areas and furniture whenever I need to! Which as you can imagine is at least a few times daily, but because is so light and quick(and NO cords!!!) I can run it as much as needed. With the old bulky corded vacuums, that was simply not possible. But with this, I have been able to keep up so that any dirt or debris does not pile up! Also, underneath my furniture as never been cleaner! 2 drawbacks = the different attachments are great, but it would be great to have a storage/wall mount option included. #2, I empty the chamber after every use, but sometimes I have to go in and clean the excess off of the filter since it gets stuck. Both issues are minor for me, but in case that information helps anyone I thought that I should note them.

My wife has been asking for a Dyson for a couple of years. I admit that I have been steering her away due to the price of these things! This year Best Buy came out with this unit and it contained both heads and also two other attachments. We needed both due to the reality that we mainly have wood floors and don't want to risk any damage. This thing works as described. It is light weight but built to last and has incredible suction and cleaning power on both wood floors and carpet without any worries of doing any damage. I mounted it on the wall for easy access and storage and it takes up little room. Also, with Best Buy's price match, we were able to get a refund twice with no questions asked. Highly recommend this Best Buy exclusive even at the current price.

I was excited to get this in our home, since I'd used one in the past and really liked it. I was hoping the battery life would've improved since the last time I used one, but it's still pretty paltry. I got this on sale, which is the only way I'd buy it. It is nice to have in our entryway, as well as an option for a quick cleanup in the car or on a couch so you don't have to take out the entire vacuum.

Works great, easy to clean, light weight, so many useful attachments. A little annoying that you have to hold down the button the whole time you are vacuuming and the battery doesn't last very long.

Great for cleaning the car or anywhere you don't want to lug a full sized vac. Enough suction to compare to a full size. Wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but no complaints and no regrets on this purchase. Small messes are so quick to take care of when you don't have to unwind or untangle a cord.

As a rule I love cordless appliances, and this is no exception. We hung this vacuum where we would use it the most, still mostly out of sight, but handy. It is so easy to quickly grab this and vacuum that the floors are always clean. It is very lightweight. The motorized hand attachment is great for stairs and cars. There are two motorized heads that do a great job on carpet as well as wood and vinyl. I'm not sure if I'll ever use my big vacuum again. Suction is good. Emptying the canister is a snap, just hold it over the trash can and release the latch and everything falls out. Wish I had this years ago. I've had a rumba, but this is better!

vac works well, on sale it's a good deal coming with more attachments than the more expensive v6 motorhead (399.99 vs 379.99). No need for an in depth review all these handhelds are exactly the same. For a large home get the v8 or corded, 20 mins wont be enough. If you have an apartment or under 1000sqft should work well. Can kinda clean an entire car on one charge if it's super dirty on regular setting, no way on max. If you keep up with cleaning would be no issue to max power clean any car out before the battery dies.

This kit was a great deal for all the attachments included. I love keeping mine near my kitchen for quick clean ups after I cook and I can eat quickly clean my entire house because it’s super light weight and cordless.

As far as overall functionality and beauty, Dyson has this in the bag. The only thing that annoys me about this (and other) Dyson products is the pain it takes to empty the canister. There isn't a day that doesn't go by after I have used it that I don't have to shake the canister like I'm being electrocuted to get most of the filth out. Even then, I often have to stick my hand in there to get the rest of the pickup out. Anyway, overall though, it is the best piece on the market. The emptying aspect is pretty nominal when compared ti the power, ease, and the ability to hang it up (which I absolutely love)!

The one drawback is the 20 minutes until out of batteries. I have a 2600 sq. ft. house and can vacuum about 70% per charge, then have to wait to finish for about 3 hours. It has suction equivalent or better than an old corded dyson and can squeeze into all kinds of tight spots. I notice I get alot more fine particles as well. We have high ceilings so the pole is especially useful as are the attachments for cars etc... Overall, it gets my house cleaner and saves a ton of time. I just grab it from the wall mounted charger in the garage and start vacuuming.

I have cats that track the litter up the stairs. This is perfect for small jobs like that. I use it primarily to clean up after the cats. Super light and easy to use.

Most of my house is hard wood so this is perfect! Cordless makes it so easy to move from room to room. With the different attachments I can vacuum the hardwood or the few rooms with carpet. The suction is outstanding and the battery lasts a long time in between charging. It is light and I can carry it up and down stairs. I can use it in my car or wherever I need to.

I bought this vacuum about a month ago and have loved it since. Cord free is definitely the way to go. No more hassling around with a cord around furniture. I have two American Bulldogs who love to shed when being scratched. This model has no problems getting hair off the tile floor or cloth couch. The mini attachment is also great for cleaning the car!

This is the best purchase I've ever made. I can clean hardwoods quickly! Keeshond (dog) hair on carpet or stairs - quick and easy clean up. Not meant for long extended vacuum sessions...battery lasts less than10 minutes on single charge. BUT it's amazing how quickly it gets done with this easy to use, light weight, flexible, cordless vacuum! Love it!

It is a special edition color for Best Buy, so you most likely won't find it anywhere else to price match it. But I love the color. If you have a smaller place like us, the 20 min or so run time is ok. If you need more, look at the V8 model....but also w/ a V8 price. We have a dog and cats, so it is used often. Lightweight and good suction. Canister fills up fast, but if it was any bigger it would be heavier and cumbersome.
