We’ve always had Dyson for our vacuum and decided to go cordless and lighter. This V7 model though is very quick to run out of charge and takes a while to fully charge. It’s light and convenient but have to charge frequently. This one also did not come with most accessories. Not even the wall mount. Also having a hard time finding one that is compatible with it. Seems like Dyson makes different wall mounts for every series. I threw out the box it came with and wasn’t sure if we can still return but just decided to keep it and maybe just sell for a lost. Not happy with this one.

Super light and maneuverable. Easy to switch attachments. Battery last long enuff to get the job done and then some. Easy to empty. Cord free !!!! Works well on all floors.

I love this vacuum! I live with 2 roomies and is just the perfect size for our household. It came super faster and really easy to put together. I’d totally recommend it.

Love Dyson floor vacs! I ordered this for my workplace (offices & lobby carpet/rugs) when our 2nd Shark floor vac broke. Convinced the boss that we may be spending more upfront but it'll pay for itself in reliability and performance. I have a Dyson V6 cordless vac (bought 2016), a Dyson Animal ball upright vac (bought 2015), and a Dyson DC14 upright vac (bought 2004) in my home. None have needed repairs or replacements on a single thing except replacing the exhausted lithium battery on the floor vac in 2021...so SUPERB RELIABILITY. Highly recommend the Dyson cordless floor vacs for hard floors and low pile carpets/rugs and a Dyson upright vac for high pile carpets.

I really like this vacuum but battery life is 5to 10 min , the vaccum i baught, then i have to charge it again

This is a good item and it works great!!! Carpet and tiles makes life easier just the battery don’t last long

It's a great little vacuum but does have an issue. The battery dies too quick. But as in performance it works great. Another thing, my serial number is not recognizable and can't register it.

I purchased this last year, and it’s really amazes us with the performance, not until now that the motor seems not working well on max.

Fit into my old dock works great. Just miss the accessories from my dyson 7 animal stick. I like the old brush vs this new one. Bought the long suction accessory seperate online for 8 bucks.

It's a very well product, that we were trying to buy a good price from a lot of months ago. Additionally, the costumer's attention in Best Buy store was amazing, they made a follow up frequently over my purchase. I'm very satisfied with them.

Its convenient but the battery life sucks and also takes a long time 2 charge

This is a very nice, light and efficient stick vacuum cleaner. It is easy to maneuver and every part works as indicated.

Just received this vacuum and it definitely was used. I didn’t pay all this money for a nice vacuum, for it to be used. I expected a New, never been used vacuum. Was pretty disappointed in Best Buy for that. What an inconvenience to have to drive out of my way to Best Buy and have to wait again to receive another one- which hopefully, won’t be used.

Ordered online for convenience & they sent me a used vacuum. I don’t even have time to go to any of the store to get it replace. Paying for a full price with a used vacuum. Not satisfied.

A few years ago, we acquired a Dyson stick vacuum and it’s been one of the best investments we’ve made in our home appliances. So, when we were given the opportunity to a get this newer model, we jumped at it. The V7 arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. While I appreciate the how secure the pieces of the vacuum are inside the box, I hope that maybe less packaging can be used in the future because there are a lot of cardboard pieces on the inside of the carton. Assembly of the vacuum is very easy. There are three main pieces — the motor assembly, the stick body, and the head with the brush bar. Each piece snaps into the other pieces so within a few minutes of opening the box, you are ready to use it. The vacuum comes with a power supply for charging and a mini soft dusting brush attachment. One of the design features I appreciate about our previous vacuum model is that it can be mounted to a wall for charging. This model cannot. That is really the only ‘complaint’ I have about this vacuum. It works really well — I would actually say that it works better than our previous model, which is supposed to be the stronger vacuum. We have a small dog that likes to destroy his toys. He will pull all the fluff out of them and completely rip them to shreds. We happened to have an area of the floor that needed to be cleaned because of this activity that the V7 took care of for us. There were small shreds, threads, dust, and human hair in the same floor area and the vacuum picked it all up like a champ. The brush does a great job of separating any strings or hairs that typically get caught and pushing it through to the dust chamber. This makes it very easy to clean up the vacuum. I did notice that there was some hair left on the brush, but I was able to pull it off quite easily rather than needing to cut it off with scissors or combing it out with a small tool. This brand is typically higher priced than others but the quality of this product speaks for itself. If you struggle with keeping floors hair and fur-free, this is a great investment. These stick vacuums have all but replaced our full-size push vacuum when it comes to cleaning our floors.

The Dyson V7 arrived double boxed. Opening, it was neatly packed. There are only a few pieces to assemble: Vacuum power unit Wand Powered floor brush Hand brush tool Charger I have used a few cordless “stick” vacuums, so have some experience with these appliances. As with any product, I felt this vacuum is mixed bag of pros and cons.... Snapped the unit together – the sections snap and unsnap easily. Then fully charged battery prior to using. The battery seemed to last a fairly long time during use, but also takes a long time to charge. Using the vacuum mostly on carpet, the vacuum power unit was reasonably quiet with a slight whine. However, the powered floor brush was a bit noisy. As far as cleaning, the vacuum did a reasonably good job for a cordless “stick” vacuum. Suction was good, and it has a “turbo” - high speed mode for added suction. The powered floor brush seemed to pick up pet hair and the nap of the carpet well. There is a “hand brush” that also has an extension for use as a short crevice tool. I did not notice any suction loss, but did not allow the dirt chamber to overfill, which can affect suction. There are 2 filters – a “pre-filter” that can be washed, and a final filter that looks to be a paper filter and I think it sould be replaced periodically. As far as cleaning – and picking up pet hair – this vacuum did a respectable job. The carpet looked good, with the nap lifted. The floor brush cleans itself so hair does not accumulate on the roller. Overall, does a good job, and could replace a larger corded vacuum. However, I think there are a few misses with this vacuum: There was no “trigger lock” for power - I found constantly holding the power button while in use, applied pressure to my thumb joint due to angle – it got a bit uncomfortable after some time Would have been nice to have some kind of charging “caddy” to store the unit and attachments neatly – maybe a wall mount Also a bit pricey for having just a few attachments and no caddy or storage ability

I am all about the stick vacs and this Dyson is no exception! Portability and power is what it's all about. It is just great vacuum and since it is a Dyson, you know it will live up to it's name. In the box is the Vac, non extendable wand, wall wort charger, 2 attachments and the usual paperwork. Assembly is as simple as it can get. Snap in the wand and your choice of attachment or the attachment directly to the main unit for a more portable experience. Before going off and cleaning everything, make sure to charge the unit first. There are 2 modes, standard and turbo that you can change to with a flick of your thumb. Storage is great for this Dyson. Since the unit charges with a wall wort and barrel charger, that means no docking station or anything else bulky. You can easily store the vac (unassembled or not) in a storage room or closet. One thing I did notice is that the battery does not seem like it is replaceable as it is part of the main unit. Also charging (mine was at 1 block of 3 at first) did take a long time to get to 100%. Performance was excellent. My house is 80% tile flooring and 20% carpet and this vac handled both terrains with ease. The main power floor brush had no issue getting edges and under my couch. The other brush attachment worked well on my desktops and cabinets. One thing I did also try was the main floor brush attachment directly to the Main Unit to create a mini-vac and cleaned out my car. My one and only gripe is that there is no trigger lock. For regular vacuum sessions this may or may not be an issue with comfort as you have to hold it down at all times. Also note, it is a hair trigger in my opinion (slightest force will turn it on). Cleaning and maintenance are user friendly. The switch on the top on the unit, when ready to empty, will bring the filter housing up and open the bottom of the bin at the same time to make sure everything picked up can be disposed of easily. The filter also pops out from top and can be cleaned with ease. Powerful and easy to use is what this stick vac is all about. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for one.
