I first bought a v8 for myself and my twins (the animals). Because its cordless I take it to my moms house to clean and she was so impressed she wanted her own. So I got her this one and she loves it. Doesn't have all the features as the v8 but its just as good and she really likes it. No complaints!

This vacuum is incredible. It doesn't make a lot of noise considering the power it has. The battery holds plenty of charge for a four bedroom house, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room, you name it. Just keep the roller clean and suction will be great.

Good cordless vacuum overall, but wish I had held off and picked up the 10 or 11 instead... Its great for cleaning the car, baseboards, ceilings, spot cleaning,and hard floors, but falls a little shy of the mark due to the small battery and slow recharge rate. If you don't have high pile carpet, it should be a good match. - Ejection on the dustbin is pretty easy, but a fair amount of debris will stick in the corners and door. Didn't think that would set off my OCD that much, but it does :( - Also, The door for the dustbin cannot be closed until the filter has been pushed back into place. Minor annoyance, which went away once I got used to it, after a few cleanings. ---But most of all... the 20-minute battery life ends up being more like 7 to 12 minutes on high pile carpet. This is sadly insufficient for a deep cleaning of more than one room at a time.

We have a Dyson floor vacuum upstairs. Bought this to keep downstairs just so we don't have to carry one back and forth. It is great on the stairs, lightweight and easy to carry. Nice to be rid of the cord. Really good deal when you catch it on sale.

It’s lightweight, not as noisy as an upright vacuum so it’s more pet friendly. It’s cordless so that makes it very convenient to maneuver around a room, plus no tripping hazard. It has to be charged, but it doesn’t take a very long time, it needs a little over an hour or so. Highly recommend

Overall this is a great item for quick clean up jobs and smaller areas, but if you have a home larger than 1200-1500 sq feet be prepared to tackle the job in multiple charging events. The device is super light and portable but as I said not as strong as a higher power motor or plug in option.

Absolutely love this Dyson! I have two dogs and dog hair is a daily struggle. This is light and has good suction. It's also perfect for stairs. You don't have to fight a cord or a big awkward vacuum to do the steps.

This is the second one I have bought. I bought one for my daughter and when using it I loved it so much I went back and bought one fir myself. Very light weight and easy to use. I love it for quick jobs.

Excellent vacuum. Powerful suction cleans exceptionally well leaving floors super clean. Attachments assist in cleaning walls, furniture, vents etc. I love my Dyson!

Upgraded to D7 and replaced older Dyson I had for four years. Much lighter and like the three speeds. Battery life could be better but use the lowest speed to get the most use time If needed.

This vacuum is a workhorse on the turbo setting. The regular setting is disappointingly whimpy; not effective at vacuuming up spilled pet food. Otherwise, I love how light and easy this vacuum is to use. There's almost no corner that I'm unable to reach with the swiveling head.

I r ally like the vacuum as far as speed and weight. Very easy to use. Great suction too. What I didn’t like was the battery died pretty quickly. I don’t have a big house. Cleaned two bedroom carpets and it died on the third. Less than 20 minutes I would figure.

Ridiculously powerful for such a little machine. Perfect for easy pick ups, big messes, and tight/hard to reach spots. I find myself using it more than my regular plug in dyson

This vac does it all. It has great suction and picks up everything. It converts to a hand held which is really nice. Changing the attachments is very easy as is changing it to a hand held. All in all, a very efficient vac.

Bought this for my stairs and hardwood floors. Man this little thing is expensive but definitely worth the convenience. Surprisingly strong suction, easy to tote around and perfect for dog hair, or little messes where you'd prefer not to plug up and make tons of noise.

My family loves this vacuum. Vacuuming our narrow, carpeted stairs is now easy and no longer the ridiculous workout it use to be. You can even vacuum and still hear and talk on the phone which was an unusual bonus. I have 3 cats and picks up shedded fur with ease.

I love this vacuum. I use a Roomba, but it takes a long time to clean my large house and it misses some nooks and crannies. I use my new Dyson for quick clean-ups and to get into corners where my Roomba misses dust and lint. I fully recommend this cordless vacuum.

I thought I hated vacuuming. What I must have disliked about vacuuming was plugging in, unplugging, plugging in, and on and on. Now when I see stuff on the carpet or floor, I just grab it off the charger and go. Love how the attachments are easily switched out. I've even used the soft brush attachment to dust surfaces. Also, love the smaller brush head which works great in the SUV. So far no battery problems but I don't run it on the max setting. I think I have vacuumed my house more in the past month than the past year. Just seeing all the dirt makes you realize how often you need to be vacuuming. Fantastic product!

I love this Dyson! I bought it for my mom and It is so powerful and cleans up all the dog hair with ease. Super easy to use. I love that it is cordless. Has a lot of different vacuum heads. It was so great that I ended up buying one for myself.
