This vacuum sucks it all right up! Super convenient not having a cord. Only downfall is the battery but that is to be expected

Cons for were it comes with 4 attachments and only holds 2 of them on the wall mount. Battery does not last long, I would suggest a removable battery so I can have a charged battery on standby to extend cleaning time. Dyson has been making cordless for awhile and they know about the short battery life complaints, fix it with a removable battery and make everyone happy. Battery lasts longer if you switch to low setting but no one wants to vacuum on low, Can only vacuum one room per charge on high setting. I would recommend to a friend and purchase again if Dyson addresses the battery life issue.

We are happy to hear how powerful you found this machine to be, so far in your use. Dyson V7 cordless models feature two suction modes, MAX and regular power. While regular power is suitable for most household messes, you may find that some debris is more stubborn to pick up and does require MAX power mode. When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

The powerful direct-drive cleaner head removes ground-in dirt and pet hair from carpets, and self-adjusts to pick up dirt and debris from your bare floors.
The Dyson V7 Animal also features two suction modes; MAX and standard. Please keep in mind that the V7 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs. Also, while many do use Dyson cordless machines as their main vacuum at home, if you prefer a longer run time, we’d recommend one of our compact uprights or canister models.

Think you get 15-20 min?

You can clean up little messes really easy and fast. All the included accessories work really well and the battery life seems to be pretty good so far. I don’t normally use the stronger vacuum setting so maybe that extends the battery life. If I had to choose one negative that would be that you have to pull the trigger the whole time you are using it. There’s no trigger lock feature, not a big deal but would be nice to have. Maybe more expensive models have that?
