My parents have had 2 Dyson vacuums and they work great. Now that I moved out I missed the vacuum to pick up my German shepherds fur. I saw this on Black Friday and couldn’t pass on it. Works flawless. No more sweeping and seeing fur fly by you. This works great. The only con I can think of is I wish the battery lasted that much little bit longer. You get a solid 25 minutes straight useage. Mounting the charging base is easy enough and works great as it doubles as the storage for the vacuum. Works good in the cars with the attachements.

I owned this for a while and it works fairly well. It is pretty light weight and picks up a lot of dirt and hair. My only complaint is that it is finicky. You need to wash the filter often enough when it starts acting up. It takes about a day to dry before you can put it back in. Also, the beater brush gets a lot of hair around it and takes some time get the hair off. I'd say its been a decent vacuum overall. Saves my back.

I had a hover handheld stick vacuum like this one and it died on us in just about a year of use. Despite that, it was always wobbly and felt cheap since the beginning. This vacuum is feels solid and works waaaayaya better. I was hesitant because it was so pricey, but after using it once, I was very glad I bought it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars, is the battery life goes quickly on it. It says 30min, but that would be on the low setting. The high setting really picks up way quicker but drains the battery in like 15min. Just something to really consider.

I was always intrigued by the Dyson name and products, and decided to try this item when I recently replaced my kitchen and dining room floor. I love the light weight, cordless features and all of the accessories that came with this vacuum. I love the fact that it can become a handheld vac for cleaning the stairs and upholstery... as you can tell I am using it for more than just my kitchen and dining area.

I’ve had my eye on the Dyson stick vacs for a long time and decided to go for this one while it was on sale. I did not purchase this to be my only vacuum. Currently we live in an apartment almost entirely covered in thick carpet (not by choice), and for that, there is simply nothing quite like a heavy duty plug in vacuum. But there are some areas that the standard vacuum just cant reach well, and for those, this Dyson has been ideal! I love it for maintenance cleaning in our tiled entryway, for stairs, for our porch rug where there is no convenient outlet, and for quick pickups around the apartment. The attachments are intuitive, and the emptying of the dirt cup is a great design. We also love the wall mounting, which is perfect for a small space. In general, I’ve found this unit to have plenty of power on the standard speed, and I’ve only used the boost mode sporadically for tougher messes, which I assume is how the mode was designed to be used. I will note that I’m very pleased with my plug in vacuum, which is a Shark, but when it comes to stick vacuums, the Dyson design is the only one I liked. This is mostly due to the compact nature of the cleaning head, a feature that doesn’t seem to be replicated on most other brands. In the past I owned a cordless electronic “sweeper” that, while cheap, was a complete waste of money as it was practically useless. Though it’s expensive, I truly feel as though you get what you pay for with this Dyson. I’ve had no issues with battery life thus far, but I think that’s mostly due to my use of this as a supplemental tool as opposed to my only vacuum. Finally, I should mention that this unit is surprisingly quiet and lacks the annoying, high pitched whine that can be typical of cordless vacs.

I bought this because I was sick of hauling out a bulky vacuum, plugging it in and scaring my cat just to vacuum. It’s so light and easy to use. Yes, you dump it a lot and it only lasts 20ish minutes but who wants to vacuum longer then that anyway?! Just keep it in a convenient location and your good to go! Do a room or two a day. It takes like 3 hours to charge so when I’m doing heavy cleaning I just work on another task or 3 and finish vacuuming when it’s charged. Quit complaining- you knew the specs. I vacuum way more often plus my elderly cat isn’t scared by this vacuum! It’s so light. Good life choice here guys!

I tried 2 other types of vacuums, and then bit the bullet and bought the Tyson. I should have gone with my instinct and just went for the Tyson from the outset. I didn't, and I learned my lesson. This is, by far, the best vacuum I have ever owned. Cordless, powerful, easy to empty, great attachments.. worth every penny!

I love this Dyson vacuum. It's very lightweight and makes cleaning every corner of my home easy. The suction never decreases and continues until the vacuum dies. The only downfall is that it only lasts for about 20 minutes until the battery is dead. I also enjoy all of the attachments and I use all of them.

This cordless vac is handy but the battery dies pretty quickly. I prefer to use it on high speed but that means it doesn’t work for very long and has to be plugged in again to recharge. The cup is easy to empty and I like all the attachments and the fact you can hang it up to charge. I can’t typically vacuum more than a couple of rooms before it dies.

I originally had the Bissell Bolt, which worked great, but I had to replace it twice due to battery issues under the Geek Squad warranty. I was tired of having to replace it, so I decided to upgrade to the V7 Animal. I use one of the V10 Absolute vacuums at work and am in LOVE with using it to clean up my area. The V7 was in my price range and so far I'm loving it just as much as the V10 that I've been using for almost a year. The battery life doesn't last as long as the V10, but I knew that going into it. It's very easy to unhook from the charger that we mounted in our kitchen and the attachments are easy to switch back and forth by pushing the red quick release buttons. This was a huge necessity for me, as I have arthritis and have a lot of difficulty working with buttons and snaps. This vacuum makes it easy for me to remove the wand and put on the mini motorized tool to become a hand vac and sweep the cat hair off of my furniture. It's also very convenient for cleaning out the car! Another nice thing about the V7 design is that you don't have to remove the wand to empty the dust bin like you have to do with the V10 models. I'm slowly becoming a hardcore Dyson enthusiast now that I have this vacuum in addition to my Dyson SuperSonic Hairdryer!

More than a year later and it still works jesses new wish that there were more attachments given I ended up buying a stand on Amazon to store since I couldn’t use the charger attached to the wall. Very light weight works for what I need I have a dog that sheds like crazy but please know it is short hair That it constantly picks up I am sure it would be a nightmare for anybody with long hard pets to constantly have to cut the pieces off of the main attachment head. Love that the filter is reusable and you just rinse air dry I tend to dry mine in the sun and once it’s fully dry it’s good to be used . The only downside is the max suction tends to drain the battery quickly I like to use mine towards the end of my vacuum cycle mainly on carpeted areas. I do notice the battery also warming up as it’s in use but it is to be expected it isn’t anything too drastic and it doesn’t bother me at all.

This vacuum is very light and easy to use in corners and hard to reach places with a larger upright. It has several attachments and a nice wall dock for charging. The only thing that prevents me from rating it as 5 stars is the battery life. You trade off it being light for a smaller battery which means you can only vacuum a room or two and then you need to charge it before you can finish.

I bought this for easy and lightweight use for quick dog hair pick up. But it works so good, I end up vacuuming the entire house on just one charge. It's so light and easy, I can move quickly tyhroughout the house. Also very easy to dump out the debris. I highly recommend.

Very light. Seems to pick up well. Have made out ok with the low speed in regards to charge life. Higher speed setting states it significantly consumes the charge, but have not tried it. Comes with many attachments. Emptying it seemed challenging and confusing at first, but ultimately not too bad. Have not done a deep clean of filters yet, but seems consistent with other Dyson's.

This is by far the best vacuum I've ever used or owned. It's lightweight, powerful, easy to handle and almost fun to use. We have an Alaskan Malamute that sheds like crazy. We have been finding ourselves vacuuming everyday for the last 3 weeks and it couldn't be easier with this Dyson. Being free of the cord is just amazing. As a side note, we own 2 other Dyson vacuums. We love their warranty and customer service!

this replaced an old Eureka vacuum at the lake, so it was a pretty low bar. Seems to do the job very well. Would like longer battery life on high suction, but it's light and great to use. The "unit" that screws into the wall to hold the machine between uses seems ok, but it does not provide enough spots to store all the attachments. it would be nice to include a basket or some such for them

Bought this Dyson V7 stick. Absolutely a must for all homes. Excellent for homes with pets. Makes cleaning floors a breeze. Hangs on wall while it charges. I'm hoping to upgrade to the V11 because it runs 60 minutes before needing a charge. The V7 runs 40 minutes before needing to be recharged. Absolutely a plus to small appliances for the home

Is it dramatic to call a vacuum purchase life changing? Well this vacuum has been my best purchase of 2020. I bought this on sale to help clean up all of the hair my Australian Shepherd leaves behind. This vacuum is lightweight and powerful and makes cleaning up everyday so much easier. I’ve also now used it to vacuum dog hair and dust on SO many things besides the floor - the car, pillows, comforters, couch, chairs, desks, mirrors, and more!! This thing is so lightweight and has so many attachments that you can vacuum anything. 100% worth it if you have a long haired dog.

This is excellent product easy to adjust and used. I have a cat and the first time I used it I was amaze of the amount of cat hair this product picked up vs my old vacuum. It’s still in great condition. The only thing I have not down yet is clean it yet that’s a thought not yet clear to me.

We have a corded vacuum and the we got this one. Honestly, we haven’t used the corded vacuum since! This thing is light and powerful, which makes it soooo easy to maneuver and take up and down the stairs. One more thing, charging is incredibly easy once you place the holder on the wall (near a wall plug), you don’t have to remember to charge it because it’s charging when you put it away!
