Ridiculously light to carry. Great power to suction.

This thing picks up long dog hair (German Shepard) great. I was cautiously optimistic based on other reviews, but it has worked perfectly. I get about three uses, so the 30 minute run time is pretty accurate. Definitely worth the money since we use it daily. Will have to see about longevity, but so far I am pleased.

The charge does not last as long as it says it should, and the only way to vacuum a carpet is to keep it on the highest setting. Cordless is fantastic, but it is just not strong enough, especially if you have a pet, which was the whole point of paying a premium for this version.

I love the ease of use, but was a little disappointed in the suction power. I felt for the money it should have been better. The ease of emptying is great. The charging station is good design. Overall I like it. I got it a a very good price. I’m not sure I would be as happy if I paid full price.

This was purchased as a convenient second floor vacuum cleaner. We have a long haired dog and vacuuming is required on an almost daily basis. This Dyson works well and operates at full suction for approximately 30 minutes, which works well for us. Highly recommended.

We already have a regular but we wanted something to get pet hair and small things between cleanings......I don’t know if we’ll use our regular dyson again after buying this cordless dyson. It works great and holds a good charge. Also it’s small and when mounted to a wall in a closet takes up no space. Love this product

I just love it!! Easy, light, very powerful vacuum.

I had V6 which battery went dead, and decided to buy this rather than replacing the battery of V6. I am glad I did. The design is improved especially the trash removal method. Also quieter. I took one star off because I wanted a bit more suction power, even at V7 level.

I bought this cordless vacuum to clean the carpet on the stairs. I thought the cordless feature would be helpful. I have found that I like to use it more on our concrete floors. It doesn’t clean thick rugs or carpet very well. The battery doesn’t last very long on high either.

Never had a cordless vac, so I am enjoying the cordless freedom. In addition, the unit is so lightweight that, along with the cordless freedom, The drudgery of vacuuming is gone! Picks up everything but small leaves that my dog drags in and garlic paper. I have tile through, so I can not comment on carpet.

Does a great job cleaning. Just wish battery would last longer

We purchased this vacuum right before our daughter was born because with dogs, the hair is hard to get up. We had a bissel which worked great but it was so much heavier and trying to take it up and downstairs was tough. This vacuum has been great and is lightweight and hasn’t disappointed!

I love how versatile this vacuum cleaner is, the only downside is the cleaning time on MAX... it's about 8.5 minutes tops, but that is enough to vacuum the living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. Comes with good accessories.

We have this vacuum hung on our wall in our eat in kitchen area where we eat dinner every night with two small children, and this vacuum is great for a quick spot clean every night without having to lug out the big vacuum you have to plug in and deal with the cord.

Great tool. Slightly noisier than I was expecting on high, but it pick up everything. Quick and easy to empty. If I had one bad thing to say about it, it’d be the run time. I knew it was short going in, but there’re times I wish it ran a little longer, but it recharges fairly quick, so it’s not that big a deal.

Always heard that the Dyson can really suck as in great pick up of even fine dirt and dust. And cordless is so fantastic - no worry about reaching with a cord or moving from room to room! And no bags to buy and an easy emptying right into your trash can. Love it!

Might look small but can definitely take care of the big jobs this vacuum has definitely been great for us and we bought it a few years ago now and it still going strong

We personally have had a Dyson V6 for 6 years. It still is working like new, if you properly clean the motorized brush heads and filters. I purchased this as a wedding gift for my brother in law because of my experience with the previous version. The V7 has a longer run time. He and his new wife have had an excellent experience with this version so far and no complaints. They previously went through two cheaper corded vacuums and one cheaper cord-free, not Dyson brand, before we gifted this to them. I highly recommend this, and it makes for an awesome house warming gift (because we all know no one really wants to spend a ton of money on a nice vacuum if you are a newlywed or new homeowner.) That said, don’t hesitate. These are an awesome value and hold up well. I’m a true believer in Dyson cord vacuums. You definitely get what you pay for. Other brands do not compare to these, in my opinion.
