Thank you for your review; we're happy to hear how much you're loving your V7 Animal and how useful you've found it for cleaning your home, thus far in your use. The Dyson V7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

I did much research and decided to buy this model because of the 3hr changing time vs 10 hr on the other models. I love it! Makes things a lot easier and my kids don’t hate this chore now. I would recommend it because it is stylish, light and gets the job done. I have a German Shepherd and this is a lifesaver when it comes to cleaning up all his fur.
